Recently I took you over the oldest railway line in the Netherlands from 1839, ( • The oldest train ride ... ), now I show you the newest railway line: the Hanzelijn between Zwolle and Lelystad from 2012. But let's go further than Lelystad, all the way to The Hague. I have not accelerated the longer waiting times at some stations. What do you think about that? Enjoy!
Laatst nam ik jullie me over de oudste spoorlijn van Nederland uit 1839, ( • The oldest train ride ... ), nu laat ik jullie de nieuwste spoorlijn zien: de Hanzelijn tussen Zwolle en Lelystad uit 2012. Maar we gaan verder dan Lelystad, helemaal naar Den Haag! Ik heb de langere wachttijden op sommige stations nu eens niet versneld. Wat vinden jullie daarvan? Veel kijkplezier!

i do really enjoy this cab view. I have no problem with longer waiting time, to be honest i like it, more natural. feel the energy of stations from cab view is new experience, at least for me

Niet alleen de trein is mooi. Kijk eens naar dat landschap. Met de vroege ochtend zon in de rug is zelfs dit aangelegde deel ven Nederland de moeite van de aandacht waard. Dankjewel meester!

Excellent video! I always like cabride videos to be totally uncut. I definitely do not like station stops being edited out. I like to see what is going on at the station, and to observe the other trains coming and going. On this video I could just see the 10 22 Leiden to Utrecht departing from a distant platform! Viewers who want to 'get on with the ride' can always fast forward.
Here at the end of the video, with the city skyline behind it, a Dutch windmill comes into view. Fantastic! Thank-you.
Haha! Its the windmill of Voorburg. Indeed, a nice view if you come from the direction of Leiden/Hoofddorp.
Appreciate keeping the station wait times; it does make it more natural and enjoyable!

Mooi video! Ik ben wel benieuwd naar je volgende editie van je sein serie want het de Hanzelijn en de lijn tussen Utrecht en Arena hebben op dat gebied een overeenkomst. Vaak meegeweest op het gedeelte tussen Schiphol en Voorschoten met de lange stop in Leiden . Ik haalde meestal een bakkie bij de kiosk. Dankjewel Vincent!

The "dashboard" on a train these days is so different from the clunky old monster throttles and brake valves of yesteryears! :)
met die opkomende zon hebben we een zeer mooie opnamen
die langere wachttijden het is eens iets anders goed zo
SNG mooie trein, maar voor het zitcomfort kan je beter bij een ander zijn.
@PeppieproGamez Wilde eigenlijk SNG weg ermee zetten. Maar dat is ook weer zo negatief.
@@jakkorijfers226 En daarbij het is accuraat, want het is ook een mooie trein. Eerlijk, 2e klas zit beter dan 1e klas.
Vorig jaar heb ik me eens in een SNG gevonden op de IC tussen Groningen en Zwolle, de zitplaatsen zijn niet zulke lounge stoelen als je in de ICM vindt, maar zeker ook niet slecht... Veel beter dan die harde banken die ze op de Arriva GTWs hebben.

Mijn "thuisstation" zit aan de Hanzelijn. Deze treinrit nam ik elke dag heen en weer voor mijn werk. Tot we in maart verplicht moesten thuiswerken. Het duurt een eeuwigheid (het stuk dat ik neem "maar" 1u23m) maar ik zou het zo weer doen.
Vooral de IJsselbrug wordt mooi belicht. Toch een mooi bouwwerk geworden.
Jammer van de graffiti!
Ik heb in 87 de eerste treing zien aankomen op Muziekwijk :) Het spoor is nog een aardig stukkie gegroeid na die tijd.

I just fast-forward through the station stops, so either is fine with me. On the other hand, you and your special effects people had me doubting my sense at the beginning. That bank of clouds looks so much like a mountain range, with snowy peaks and swaths of snow. Where is there a mountain range like that in The Netherlands? Obviously, it's a bank of clouds, but I like videos from other lands that are not as level. Thank you. Great ride, as always.
Well in the Netherlands we have 0 mountains, especially none with snow on them. Out largest "mountain" is like 300 meters high and it's all the way in the southeast, the rest of the country is pretty much flat

Why are there very long wait-times at certain stations along the route? Is your train being delayed or does its normal schedule include these wait times? Thank you for this great video of The Netherland's newest (youngest) rail route!
At bigger stations with a lot of connections through other rides, they will wait a little longer, so people who need that connection can actually catch the train. Normally it is scheduled and not a delay, if so, they always try to make up for the time they lost with the delay.
in addition, sometimes the express(in dutch intercity) trains need to pass
Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful new line in Holland. I think I agree with some of the LOOOOONG waiting or "Dwell" times at some stations. Too long! What was the name of the "staggered" station after "Weesp? Also noticed, before "Weesp" looked like preparation for a new Motorway going over the line...and again, after that looooong wait closer to the end of the video? can't believe still daylight after 10pm! Have seen that on some other videos. Thanks for the wipers. Well done.

Als ik dit weer zie krijg ik heimwee. 15 December is nog een eind weg. Het is fijn dat er bussen rijden tussen Lelystad en Dronten maar het is toch niet hetzelfde.
Ik vind het juist heerlijk, achterin een touringcar hobbelen :-)
@@CabviewHolland Haha, het kan prettig zijn maar ik ben mijn snelle aansluiting kwijt nu. Ik doe nu 2,5 uur over waar ik normaal gesproken 1,5 uur over doe. Dus voor mij kan het traject niet snel genoeg weer per trein aflegbaar worden.

The first I NG arrived a while ago in the Netherlands and is being tested on the Dutch railway. Testing with multiple coupled ICNG trains will start soon. The ICNG is planned for regular service in 2021 on a limited number of lines, primarily on the High speed rail between Breda, Rotterdam, the Hague and Schiphol. Service will expand in the following years.

Dat zijn WUBO's, Waarschuwingsinstallatie Uitzichtbelemmerende Objecten. Bedoeld om bv. baanwerkers te waarschuwen voor een naderende trein.
3:24 - Hebben die middelste railsen een speciale functie? Waarschijnlijk wel, want anders zouden ze er niet zitten. Ik bedoel de buitenste gaan de wielen overheen en daar er een bovenleiding is ga ik er niet vanuit dat ze als "3e (en 4e) rail" dienen. Viel me wel op dat vanaf het punt dat ze begonnen de snelheid omhoog leek te gaan, maar dat kan toeval zijn (even niet echt op de seinen gelet).
Ik zie ze bij wissels even onderbroken worden (om voor de hand liggende redenen, denk ik... Zou de wissel kunnen verstoren, denk ik).
In principe worden ze toegepast op plekken waar het spoor de neiging heeft te verzakken of verschuiven, ze zorgen dus voor meer stabiliteit. Daarnaast kunnen ze ook toegepast worden op plaatsen waar bij een eventuele ontsporing grote schade zou kunnen ontstaan, ze houden de trein op het spoor.

Je kunt ook met de sprinter van zwolle naar den haag duurt wel 1 uur langer dan ben je allang in Groningen met de intercity waneer is er sprinter rotterdam zwolle

Extra stability and/or preventing a train to fall of the rail bed in case of a derailment.
