- We are a local train and therefore stop at Meppel, Steenwijk, Heerenveen, Akkrum and Grou-Jirnsum. On the way you will see a beautiful classic truck at a level crossing. Who sees it first? In this video, the new GPS tracker was quite upset, so the speedometer varies a lot on this ride from time to time. Between Zwolle and Meppel, Cabview Holland Spotter VIP Joeri films when passing a level crossing. Enjoy watching!

In deze video was de GPS-tracker nogal van slag, dus de snelheidsmeter wijkt in deze rit van tijd tot tijd enorm af. Mooi om het Traject Zwolle - Leeuwharde te zien. Voor mij is het best lang geleden dat ik met de trein als Passagier op dit traject ben geweest. Het treintype SNG heb ik wel vaker in gezeten. Weer een mooie video meester!

😊Mooie rit met de zon in de rug.Ja Wolvega is ook veranderd,die tunnel was een mooi idee,reed er 2x per jaar doorheen,op vakantie naar Appelscha.met de Motor.tsja in Appelscha stopt geen trein,heel vroeger wel in Oosterwolde.

Hi Vincent. I was interested to see that trains do not stop at Thialf (please excuse my spelling if incorrect) because they don't wish to pay. Is the need to pay the same for all stations, or just those used for special events? Sorry, I missed the classic truck; what was the timecode, please? I like the GPS speed data; even if it is not too accurate, I like to see it (as long as it does not report 140 kph when the train is stopped at a station!). In one of your videos (or that of one of your fellow train driver videos), there was mention of the station once used by Otto von Bismarck with a photograph; it would be nice if you were able to add period photos of stations you mention in your videos (not necessarily the ones that were built at an alternative location to the present ones). Sorry for the long comment!
Otto? For years I have had the idea to make videos for each route mentioning all stations in the past, and including photos. But I think that there will be copyright issues with that..
I do not know about fees for stations, but in the Thialf case, it is mentoined..
Ik heb dit traject menig maal gereden met de trein vroeger in mijn eerste Marine opleidingsjaar (1973), kom nu nooit meer in welk openbaar vervoer dan ook, kan er niet tegen. 'k Moet vooruit kunnen kijken. jammer dat er nu (bij mij tenminste) zoveel onderbrekingen in de video zitten. (ligt niet aan internetverbinding 130/30)
Wat bedoel je precies met onderbrekingen?
@@CabviewHolland De video stopte af en toe zomaar ergens voor een paar tellen, om daarna gewoon weer door te gaan . Kon de video wel gewoon verder afkijken . Had dit nog niet eerder gehad bij Cabview HDRw video’s.

Mooi ritje weer Meester, prachtige landschappen. Wat mij opvalt is dat er niet veel trajecten zijn waar nog ouderwetse bielsen liggen, het is meestal beton.
Dan nog een vraagje, ik zag vandaag weer een enorm lang perron, waar is dat voor, terwijl de meeste mensen toch instappen bij de overkappingen en niet soms 100 meter terug.

waarom is de tyfoon van de SNG zo zacht/dof? In vergelijking met de SLT of Traxx komt er amper geluid uit😅
Van binnen lijkt het zacht maar dat is het niet..
How do these powerless bridges work? Do the pantograph lower itself automatically?
Apparently they slope the power wire upwards above the pantograph's limit. So all the train driver must do is turn off power to avoid "spitzen-sparken" on a grand scale. On the other side of the bridge once the wire is back down to pantograph level the train driver simply turns on the power. The trains coast marvelously.

Naar Heerenveen jaren achtereen gereden nu niet meer. Maar deze route nog steeds voor M
eppel, 2x per jaar
Meester moet u nu bij de Smildervaartbrug uw pantograaf omlaag doen? Zo niet hoe gaat dit dan goed. Je zou dan namelijk verwachten dat de pantograaf omhoog zal gaan als er geen bovenleiding meer is.
De pantograaf hoeft niet omlaag, want de pantograaf blijf op dezelfde hoogte bij de meeste treinen in Nederland
Er is niet veel meer van Station Leeuwarden over. Zelfs de overkapping is gesloopt. Van alles wat erbij hoorde toen ik eind 70tiger en 80tiger jaren als jochie stond te trainspotten is iets van 40% van over gebleven.
De kap wordt gerestaureerd en komt weer terug.

Station Leeuwarden is helemaal veranderd de stationsoverkapping is weg en de kiosk ook. Toen ik naar mijn werk ging voor 2018 toen was de overkapping nog.
De kap wordt gerestaureerd en komt weer terug.

Rijdt er tegenwoordig een sprinter van Zwolle naar Leeuwarden.

Het is zo spijtig dat het salaris van een machinist niet aantrekkelijk is. Anders denk ik dat er wel meer mensen warm voor zouden lopen.
Tegelijkertijd filter je dan wel iedereen weg die het voor het zou doen ;-)
@@CabviewHolland Eens, maar ik als liefhebber zijnde vind het vak als machinist bijzonder interessant. Echter, als ik denk aan de huidige economische situatie in dit land, is het met het oog op de toekomst niet de beste keuze om die kant op te gaan.
@@Bram21 Nouw.. ik ken niemand die zo’n goede inflatiecorrectie heeft gehad als bij ns… We hebben ook een behoorlijke onregelmatigheidstoeslag, maaltijdvergoeding, vrij reizen, koffiegeld, het beste pensioenfonds, alles bij elkaar zit je hier goed.
Bedankt voor de mooie trajectvideo naar mijn eigen mooie Friesland. Had al vaker trajectvideo's bekeken maar nog nooit geabonneerd, bij deze rechtgezet.

You really had your foot down hard and heavy on the gas pedal for this one. I really enjoy the speed. Too bad we have all those wires overhead and annoying poles flashing by on the side... detracts a bit from the beautiful scenery. You'd think they'd put the electrical stuff underground for all the houses, buildings and businesses. And when we go so fast, I can't make out any of the train signs and train signal lights. Which, if I were honest with myself, I never paid any attention to in your lessons before and I haven't a clue what any of them mean now. Gracias por tu video. Excelente. RT sends... envía... Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México... P.S. at 13:30 and 13:52 we crossed a major highway, followed by a major river or canal... both unlabeled. The electricity cables to houses, buildings and businesses are all underground in our country. The only overground cables you see (45:00) are for high voltage grids 380 kV, between power stations and distribution stations. Could also be a mid voltage grid. In case there is a problem in one of the stations the grid makes sure the problem is short time, within a fraction of a second the second grid fills the void. If that should fail, the power comes from the other side, because of the ring circuits. The power grid is a double grid (called redundantie, redundancy or a spare grid in English) in ring circuits to have the highest security of supply of electricity. The high voltage grid is also for importing and exporting electricity to other European countries. Because power supply is an economic asset and there is a market place for it.
Keep in mind that it is shot with a wide angle, which generate a speed effect at the sides of the screen making the ride look faster than it actually is.
They had to go to a catenary system because the long power cords they tried kept getting all tangled up despite the really big garden hose reels they tried.
