Let’s see: Compensators work by redirecting gasses upward to reduce muzzle rise. Muzzle brakes work by redirecting gasses to the side and/ or back to reduce recoil. The linear compensator redirects gasses forward. How does it reduce recoil or muzzle rise? Not being a troll, really interested in how.
My thoughts exactly. Physics dictates that if you direct the gasses forward, the opposite but equal reactionary force is to drive the firearm backward. I mean, maybe Newton didn't know his shit or something, with his high falootin' third law of motion and whatnot.
Bought one of your 45acp Banshee pistols. I'm amazed at the smoothness of operation and more importantly- the accuracy of this pistol. It now has one of your linear comps which really helps on our indoor range. Cuts down on muzzleblast better than my other pistols.
Bad ass looking dudes! Love the aluminum minimalist stock on the grey shorty, in fact I'm waiting on my CADPAT green duracoat to come in so i can paint it the exact way u did yours. Way longer than normal wait times on duracoat being delivered last few months though but yeah I love love layout, stock itself is painted, leaving butt plate, screws, and latch all black

My last order from them took about 8 months to get, they estimated 2-3 months to build it. Calls and emails ignored by them and when they would respond it was a general reply they send to people who didn't just spend a boat load of $$ buying their stuff, with no actual answers to my questions.
CMMG was estimating 20 weeks when I ordered Banshees on 12/20 & 12/21/2020. Just over 14 weeks later I received the one that I ordered on 12/20. That is not bad at all.

The excise tax is 11% of the cost of all items in applicable categories of the CFET. This is separate and additional to any local, state, and/or county sales taxes. Applicable product categories subject to the CFET: Complete firearms. Upper and lower receivers, stripped or complete. All AR parts including magazines and repair kits. CMMG merchandise, apparel, tools, cleaning supplies, snacks, coffee, and other gear not considered an AR part are NOT subject to this additional excise tax Doesn't everyone want to move to the wonderful state of California now?

Got one of these along with a new Banshee. I'm having a little trouble getting the thread protector off without a good armorer's wrench. Will a standard AR armorer's wrench work or do I need a special-sized wrench for 45ACP?

Linear Comps are old news been using them for 10 year or better. One would thing they would slim down the line up so there is not a 20 week or better backlog. I spent more time waiting on the SBR to show up than the tax stamp and paperwork.... When you are slower than the ATF that really is saying something.

I used to LOVE this company. But after the horrible experience it was getting a firearm from them and their horrid customer service, I simply cannot recommend them to friends, family, and my students any longer. I hope they get their act together.

I was very patient and had to keep reminding my brother, who also bought a Banshee and was getting the same no response or pad answers from them for several months AFTER the predicted delivery date. Neither one of us even contacted them until it was a couple of weeks past the delivery date because we had heard NOTHING, not a peep, from them since we placed the order. No updates, nothing about delays.... NOTHING. Then we started writing respectful emails and the few times we even got a response it was a pad answer that really didn't even address our questions and was covering the same info they were putting out on their UA-cam updates. I had heard great things about them prior to this, it's why I convinced my brother to order one with me. Never again.
Ok folks stop flaming the company, yes they are small, that coupled with the new White House is causing crazy influx of orders and shortages everywhere. Look at your local ammunition shortages. I ordered my banshee in April and don’t expect to see it until this fall if lucky. It is what it is with the liberal government we have now. The gasses expanded, so there is less pressure going forward.

You could design the perfect gun but if you can't deliver what's the point. I'm still waiting on a barrel I ordered bake at the beginning of February.

The thread protectors were installed with plastic jaw pliers. Maybe a little heat and pliers should do it.

Just get the 5.56 one and you'll be just fine. It will easily handle the 5.7 pressures, and .22lr won't be an issue at all.
