I'm not sure what's funnier: Godot in the games throwing his full mug at Phoenix and soaking him in (hopefully cold) coffee, or Godot here throwing his empty mug at Phoenix and hitting him right in the face.
It's not cold coffee. You can see the steam coming off of it. Every. Single. Cup.
Phoenix even says at one point that he's lucky he only got superficial burns from the coffee.
It's Godot. There is no way the dude drinks his coffee cold.
It's definitely his ability to summon a new mug whenever he has thrown one

The funny thing is, during bridge to the turnabout Godot comforts Pearl by giving her coffee with a lot of milk and sugar, which is adorable to me. He's like "well, this goes against everything I stand for but this child **is** crying, so..."

Honestly, when you think about how much Phoenix goes through, you gotta admit he has some strong pain resistance. Whipping, tasering, falling off a burnt bridge into an ice cold river 40 odd feet below, hot coffee in the face, Sawit's wig...

In Apollo Justice, he practically shrugs off getting hit by a car.
It all built up till his back gave out on him in SOJ.
Extremely resistant, yes, though it did seem to come back to bite him in Spirit of Justice, where he passed out from back pain for a day from bending down, so maybe that car incident with him being flung into a telephone pole did actual damage

Man, after playing through the whole first trilogy and a bit of the new translated Great Ace Attorney, it was no competition when this guy ended up my favorite character. Herlock Sholmes is great, but Godot of was just so much fun in the third game.

But about Paula, it was just subconscious. Sometimes I use he/she and other times I use them. I think it was because I wasn't 100 % sure about Paula's gender or if they were even one person, but I can't answer for my subconsciousness.

This dialogue literally sounds like it’s taken straight from the game. It’s scary how accurate it is to the characters and general sense of humor.

This is fucking beautiful oml. Both the animation (the smoothest and most buttery thing I've ever seen- and the detail of godot only holding the mug with 2 fingers is peak) and just the feel!! His theme song playing for his monologue, the lines between maya and wright, all PERFECT 10/10
i cannot begin to explain how many times i've watched these animations over. it's actually worrying. really great work to both of you, the animation's smooth as hell, it's beautifully drawn and the voice acting and writing are just *chefs kiss* ilysm take care of yourselves !!
Great video, I loved the fact that Godot’s cup just hit Phoenix’s head without breaking.
The only detail I’m fussy about the video was Godot’s voice, at first it was nice until you notice the British accent.
I laughed when he casually started his monologue right after assaulting a man with a coffee mug
