Hey everyone, who is watching or has watched this video First, I want to thank you all for all the positive feedback this video has gotten. To be honest I'm a bit overwhelmed it them and the amount of comments. I sadly can't react to all of them, but I want to make clear that I really appreciate it. Regarding the follow up video, I have planned to make more Objection.lol videos, but I won't start working with the sequel to this video yet. This video was already a behemoth to work on and I'm not aiming to make the sequel as long or even longer than this one (if that's actually going to be the case, let's see :)). In the meantime, I'm planning to work on a smaller video starring characters from the Investigation games and I hope that it will be just as enjoyable to watch. During the holiday I have a bit more spare time and I hope that I can start with the project soon. Back to the sequel, I'm planning to address Phoenix x Franziska (I wasn't even aware of this ship until I've finished this video), R34, troll ships, and a few popular OG trilogy ships not involving Phoenix. The problem with them would likely be that many of them are less evidence-based and more relying on "gut feelings", which would make it difficult to find arguments for or against them, but I'll try to find a solution to this. If you have any suggestions or resources, feel free to let me know (I'm especially interested in reasoning for the ships, because, despite making a twenty-minute video about it, I'm not really much of a shipper). Again, many thanks for your support and see you next video!
I do hope you'll one day take the time to make a sequel focusing on the ships of Apollo Justice. Especially since Phoenix (in his now much older state mind you) would probably get a kick out of it at Apollo's expense.

At least that would be the case *_IF_* he hasn't done anything else stupid which would *_INEVITABLY_* result in him making this situation *_JUST SO MUCH WORSE THAN BEFORE HE EVEN SHOWED UP IN COURT..._* Yeah, I think we should *_DEFINITELY_* leave Larry out of this. What I love about this the most, is that despite it’s outlandish premise - even for this series, all the characters still fall in line with how they would ACTUALLY behave in a situation like this! Hats off to you, this is top-tier quality content!
Canon Ace Attorney facts: 1. Phoenix Wright canonically called a parrot to testify. 2. In Apollo Justice, a blind person was accused of murder. (Although they were faking, they were still considered “blind” at the time charges were pressed.) 3. The whole franchise would have literally never happened if Gregory, Edgeworth’s father, had taken the stairs.
Gumshoe: I don't know, I kinda always shipped Wright with Franziska... Franziska: *Aggressively whipping Gumshoe and Wright.* YOU. SHOULD. SHUT. YOUR. DAMN. MOUTH. Phoenix: OW! Why did she have to whip ME?! Maya: Actually, she DOES whip you a lot... I wonder if she has a BDSM thing... Wright: BDSM? What is... Actually no, for once I DON'T want to know whatever THAT is!
Mia really hit the nail in the coffin there. Even if the Gallery didn't feel satisfied with her answer, what she said was true. The sad thing is sometimes it's because of shipping and OTPs that people drop out of fandoms. And this isn't just with AA mind you; It goes for any fandom. Toxic air caused by arguments and hate can really kill the mood and enthusiasm of fans regarding a show. Please keep this in mind in the future and be safe on the internet! :D
I originally thought "shipping" is a reference to the actual ship on the Titanic movie, you know with the way how Jack and Rose formed their love on it
Inaccurate, Maya is the biggest NaruMitsu shipper. C'mon, she called Edge' Phoenix's number one fanboy, made Narumitsu comics, called their duo 'Team Edgewright' (another common ship name for them), told Trucy that Phoenix's favourite food is RED APPLES with FRILLS on them, and he eats them like he's eating his opponent! I'm joking, I adore the video, I love how respectful it is!
To be fair shipping is all fanon anyway, nothing is stopping people from making an AU where she lives. Plus they do have decent chemistry, if not for her death I can see them getting together
Really love the fact that it wasn't an argument. Like, they said that they didn't like each other that way and all, but at no point did someone say that she's dead and that it would be a problem for a potential relationship x)
@@misakitakazaki8951 Then he’d go home and proceed to have a full on meltdown at the idea that people ship him with Nick which is “a rIdIcuLoUs IdeA” but get even more upset that people are shipping Nick with other people 🤦🏻♀️
If AA ends in the first game, id say NaruMitsu is the best If AA ends in the second game then id say NaruMaya is obvious If AA ends in the third game maybe Feeris wud be the final answer But the truth is this series has gone too far, Phoenix became hobo, forgot everything about Iris, stayed away from Maya and Miles for 7 years and now a happy single father, so it seems argueing over ships is meaningless now LOL
There's hints that he's still in touch with Maya and Edgeworth during the 7 years, like in AA4 there's an absolute pile of steel samurai and nickel samurai dvds in his hospital room and he says there's a "kid" who keeps trying to get him to watch them. AA5 outright says Edgeworth goes to Trucy's magic shows and used to take them on vacations to Europe during the 7 years. Ships will always be argued about but so long as everyone realizes that there's no way any of them will ever be canon because Capcom would lose money, it becomes clear there's no reason to get angry about the ships and just enjoy them on an individual basis.
@@rebellemuria Boom. There you have it folks. We shouldn't really hate on people's ships and the shippers itself, although if the pairing may be questionable, we can indulge in stating that part without sounding angry or mean; as well as insulting the ship You may ask them why they ship the characters together so you can understand the reason why. There is nothing wrong with thinking that either 2 or more characters look cute together, or not agreeing on the pair. Just remember to respect peoples' preferences! Have a nice day 😊
i actually disagree about feenris cuz like, even if phoenix does say "you were always the person i thought you were." it doesn't change the fact that iris brings up some... bad memories. neither does it change the fact that iris was deceiving phoenix for years, or the fact that she is a criminal that helped dispose of maya's mother's body. plus, there were a ton of narumayo and narumitsu moments in that game, especially narumayo, ngl. but hey, i have my opinion and you have yours, its all just a matter of perspective at the end of the day. i respect all ships as long as they're... worthy of respect.
@@daileeedunno Oh, I don't disagree, I even think there's a reason it feels like Iris kinda dropped out of consideration even as soon as AA4. Iris feels like college Phoenix's very first "A GIRL LOOKED AT ME" experience. It's just how he acts about it. He talks about how she knitted him shirts and made him mini omelettes, at the same time she kept asking him to give him back her necklace in a way that probably always felt to Phoenix like she was trying to pull back from their relationship. It actually feels like even if they both had calm passive personalities and might have worked that way they didn't actually communicate that well, and that's shown by the sheer nuclear level secret she was keeping from him. Maybe after that cleared up it would have been better, and she is one of Phoenix's few romantic interests who seems like her life could've meshed well with his work and interests, but ultimately I think all the circumstances at the time of her confession in 3-5 worked against it. Like she's off to jail for a while because of her charges for obstructing justice and desecrating a corpse, and Phoenix loses his job right after. Even if she got out pretty soon (depending on the state I see about 1-5 years), and even though she says she doesn't really want to be a nun her whole life so she might have been willing to move in with him in the city, I don't think they would have been able to make ends meet, so they'd break up. And if she's still in jail, life has kinda moved on, you know? There's also some official manga that suggests Phoenix actually was traumatized by the Dahlia thing, and even if the manga aren't really all that canon, we also have the way he reacts to seeing Iris in that magazine. Everyone around him interprets it as interest but the internal dialogue for Phoenix in the game really reads more like panic. I think the ship is fine, it's nice to see that they might have worked out after all those years, and if it did they'd be pretty soft and fluffy as a ship. So I see why people like it, but, yeah, I think I also understand why the games probably won't address it.
@@daileeedunnotechnically there is nothing bad with what You said but that Last Part sounded like You where pretty full of yourself sorry had to get it off my chest.
I agree on the sibling energy, especially with Maya. It feels so wrong to me to even imagine Maya x Phoenix as I feel like they would also both be horrified and grossed out at the thought. At most, I can imagine Maya having a crush on Phoenix when they first met but then she a) grows up and b) sees the tension between him and Edgeworth. I love the Maya and Franziska ship or aroace Maya once she’s in the DD era. This was such a funny video but I spent the whole time going “MYSTIC Maya” 😂
It's usually very difficult for me to be into a fanfiction because the characters often don't have the same vibe as in the original and it creates a dissonance I can't get past of. The characters in your video have exactly the same vibe as the original, and I find that absolutely amazing !
Dahlia hates Phoenix, Edgeworth is Phoenix's friend, Mia is the mentor that he admires so much and Maya and he have a best friend relationship. Fans see romance where there is none.
Strangely enough, the shipping community was relatively peaceful the way I remember it. Everyone was aware of it and didn't immediately roast gay ships because they were gay for example. Probably why it was so chill is because there wasn't any popular crazy underage ships or anything mental like that. Though Maya/Phoenix is a litttlee bit of an age gap ... Anyway, great vid 🔥
As someone who lowkey ship Maya Phoenix (after the last game) theres a lot of toxicity. (Obligatory grooming p*dophil comment even if it doesnt make sense...)
It's called being nice and respectful even when one has to fake it. Most straight men are deep down homophobic. Brain scan of stress indicators shows it. The indicators are similar to when presented with disliked food.
@@monicacreator3168 but it does tho I’m sorry but Phoenix was Maya’s primary care taker in the first games I don’t wanna come for your ship but surely you must understand that it is kinda problematic
@@disdiot2995 Not really, Maya working with Phoenix in the beginning of the series before going back to her village for training isn't the same as him being her primary caretaker, they're coworkers and friends. Personally I'm more of a Feenris shipper, though I do still enjoy the potential of Narumayo (especially because of Pearl) since the age gap really isn't that big (there are a lot of couples in real life that several years apart, it's not as an uncommon or problematic as some seem to think,) and their interactions in the most recent game were great.
@LuckLadyUnicornxc I kind of disagree here, I just wanted to share my opinion about what you mentioned: Maggey and Dustin were only in one case, and Phoenix even himself mentioned the age gap when the point of marriage was brought up- it was a rather major age gap, I agree, and Maggey stated she wasn't into Dustin that way, IIRC. So, yes, there is an age gap with a couple, however that "couple" was never together romantically, and was not at all a major duo in the games. It's more of a ship than an actual couple, and I don't agree with people who ship them. Her and Gumshoe were never made canon. Gumshoe had a crush on her, she was oblivious, and I don't think they ever ended up getting together. So the age gap isn't an issue, because they never ended up together. Plus, I do think this ship is weird. The age gap is too far, and frankly I don't think it's really acceptable as a genuine ship, especially since Maggey is only 22, with Gumshoe being 31. I don't think they should be shipped, and I'm glad it was never made canon. Mia Fey and Diego being 5-6 years is VERY different than 11- in fact, it's almost half. I really don't have much to say other than I think an age gap of five to six years isn't anything to worry about, especially since neither of them were under the age of twenty when they met. Thalassa and Zack I can't say a lot about. It seems a bit on-edge, but considering Thalassa was around 33, she was much more mature than an 18 year old like Maya. Even so, seven years is four years apart from eleven years, and since both were much older than Maya, I don't think it should be used to compare. Plum and Windred is definitely an issue. I believe they should've been added to the game with much less of an age gap, because 14 years is a maturity level difference that really shouldn't be played upon. It's very easy for someone 14 years younger than you to be manipulated or peer pressured into a relationship. Yes, it's a canon couple, but that doesn't make it right. It should definitely not be used as an excuse for shipping Phoenix and Maya. April May and Red White are not good people. I dont even know if they were ever actually revealed to be together: while the busboy (?) stated he was jealous of the man that was with her, and it may have been implied? I don't know if it was ever directly stated that they were a couple. Also, Red White is a murderer, so if he abused age gaps, I wouldn't be shocked. He's not a good person. Maya Fey was 17 when her and Phoenix first met. If you ship them from day 1, that's definitely a red flag- she was a minor. Later on, she did become an adult, but even so she was much younger and even acted rather unmature throughout the other games. She relied on Phoenix as a good friend, and I honestly see it was her leaning on Phoenix as a sibling since Mia had died. That's definitely subjective, so I will not use it as a reason as why not to ship them, but it's one of my biggest personal points as to why I do not ship them. 11 years, especially since Maya was a teenager when she met Phoenix, is too much of an age gap for it to seem moral. In short? You're using a lot of whataboutism. What about this problematic ship? Your use of pointing to other problematic ships doesn't make Phoenix x Maya any less problematic.
what mia said was very based, that’s why i hope they never canonize a ship, it would ruin people’s fun. but the AUDACITY to say there’s no NaruMitsu evidence is insulting. on ao3, someone wrote an entire essay on it and it’s goddamn beautiful. you don’t have to ship it but you will damn well not say it’s unfounded. the work is titled “Evidence is Everything: A Comprehensive Essay on NaruMitsu” and it’s by sophie_inthesky. you can even avoid spoilers because the evidence is separated by the games, cases, the anime, and other media.
@@TheFestiveHoovy I completely agree with you, that's just what I thought, sure I didn't go that deep, but really, that's the overall meaning, this explanation is basically the best for anyone who can't understand the meaning of the line. But just asking from curiosity, what did you mean by the characters you created? Are you maybe a Capcom employee or something?
@@TheFestiveHoovy I agree 100%. On my first playthrough I thougt Edgeworth meant anger as an unnecessary feeling -I didn't see anything romantic in that line. Narumitsu fans base they arguments mostly on that line which can be interpret in many ways which is kinda dumb. (Of course I don't hate people who ship it)
@@mayyanna444additionally, is "unnecessary feelings" the same in Japanese? We're debating the meaning of a translated, localised game after all. For the true authorial intent, we'd have to be fluent enough in Japanese to understand it, a language which as I understand is very context-heavy, requiring markedly more reader input to decipher the meaning of a sentence than English, and this is one singular line in an entire novel, easy for a localiser to not think of all the ways it could be interpreted by the western audience. But additionally, I have heard on the internet something or other about it being inspired by Boys Love novels? Perhaps even in original Japanese, the line was intentionally vague and readable in multiple ways to suggest interpretable BL undertones.
I don't think Wright/Edgeworth was ever intended by the original writers, especially given the game was made decades ago for a Japanese market. Not exactly the most progressive time and place when it comes to these issues. I think any "evidence" is probably fans looking a little too deep. That isn't to say you can't ship these characters. You can enjoy whatever you want, just take it easy.
@@xxProjectJxx yeah that's true. It's most likely not meant like that by the writers. And if the shippers enjoy it, then let them enjoy it. Then again, I'm not a shipper on NaruMitsu, so I would never really care.

Defending my ship on the internet feels like "you-need-to-touch-grass" behavior but I'll do it anyway. Phoenix and Iris are established to be exes. I'll give them that. But we have to also admit that people who ship Edgeworth and Phoenix aren't just delusional. There's an ace attorney musical where Phoenix was given a female love interest, yet they literally gave Edgeworth's backstory to her instead. Just shows that their history together can pass off as romantic buildup. Don't even get me started with one of the designers/writers being a BL artist. She obviously knew what she was doing, so you can't blame people for reading too much into things. I know there will be so many people saying "just ship what you like" or "it doesn't have to be canon" but ugh I just notice that it's mostly slash ships that get this treatment, I'm seriously wondering if there'd be this much debate if Edgeworth was a woman.
I agree. Heck this video mentioned just the “unnecessary feelings line” and when discussing about the reason about why Phoenix became a defense attorney, the class trial just gives more points to Wrightworth in my book, and yes Mia inspired Phoenix, but I guess it needs to be reminded that right after that trial he talks about how he needs to pass the bar exams as soon as possible because “there’s a friend that iI absolutely need to help, and if I hurry, I might be able to save him in time”. Also like, can we remember how Edgeworth took a private jet in the middle on the night in order to visit Phoenix at the ospital, as soon as he heard he had an accident? Or how he risked his caraeer and credibility when he took Nick’s badge and acted as a defense lawyer in court to do him a favor? Or how he busted his ass off to make so that Phoenix could get his badge back and go to court again? And I could go on but... “baseless” my ass xD
@@rebecca_rh There's also Iris talking to Edgeworth in 3-5 and saying that she can tell that they "share the same secret." Iris' secret is that she still has feelings for Phoenix... Honestly my take is Maya has an on-and off crush on Phoenix in between calling him old and stealing Franziska's "little brother" line to tease him, and both Iris and Edgeworth have feelings, but Phoenix has some long term trauma where he represses any romantic feelings he might have for anyone. So he rarely ever actually responds, and if he does it's usually unintentional so he walks it back, or he doesn't fully realize what he just said, or he was agreeing with something to just go along with whatever is happening.
@@rebecca_rh lol yeah I saw people saying Edgeworth isn't the only reason he became an attorney, but because of Mia too. Iris and Phoenix met in a library where he was reading law books, so he was already considering the career change. He saw Mia as the ideal role model, so of course he thought working under her would help him meet Edgeworth quick. Also in the Investigations spin-off, Phoenix never appears yet Edgeworth just keeps on thinking about him, "that man"^tm and how he shines so brightly in his eyes. lol. Like bro I get thinking about his best friend doesn't *really* mean that he loves phoenix. Then in that case, why does Phoenix never mention Iris again in later games? Does he not care for her? Of course not, there's always a chance he still does. Then does Edgeworth just really, really care about Phoenix? Yes. Obviously. What I only agree about in this video is that the Judge ships them, cuz he has to see narumitsu's banter all the time, he certainly has seen it all, he isn't even phased when Phoenix calls Edgeworth daddy.
@@kyubeyincubator5779 EXACTLY ahaha And yeah the Judge would DEFINITELY ship them. Also great username and profile picture btw xD I’m not interest in making any kind of contract tho, just to clarify
I love this video and also it's a rare video that acknoledges that while Wrightworth is a cute ship that one can believe in, calling it canon is DEFINITELY reaching
It’s definitely not 100% canon, but I wouldn’t say calling it canon is “definitely reaching” Ngl I think Wrightworth is in a grey area. It’s not quite canon, but not quite fanon either.
@@thatryebread well I think it has evidence but I call it reaching cause the evidence isn't sufficient to prove canonicity to the level many claim. Not to mention alternative ships that people have that have evidence for. I feel like both major ships for Phoenix are perfectly valid.
I agree, it makes the most sense to me, besides Iris. They have the warmest relationships with him. They're both different from Maya's and hit home differently than her. To me it's a similar situation to Mia's with Diego/Godot. She couldn't have him for very long before Dahlia poisoned him and left him out of commission for years making her decide to move on, and Phoenix couldn't have Mia at all thanks to Redd White ending her when she barely started training him, not even so much as a celebratory meal/drink. Neither option for best ending in Ace Attorney was meant to be.
@@KenDaKingArrives She was waiting for him to wake up the whole time and even said that she “settled the score” for him while visiting him at the hospital in the anime
Personally, I see Phoenix and Edgeworth is the most logical if we’re going by the events of the game. I can see why people think Maya, but I do want to remind the chat that she was a MINOR when she met Phoenix. Mia would definitely be a heavy contender if Mia wasn’t dead. Phoenix x Edgeworth and Phoenix x Iris are the most likely options just objectively.
Yeah, I'm really uncomfortable with Phoenix and Maya together because even once she turn 18, Maya still talks about wanting to become an adult. It just feels like they're at completely different stages in life.
So.... This video inspired me to come up with this cringey quote: *"There's Your OTP, and My OTP. But, there's never THE OTP"* Hope y'all use it wisely! 🙂
Wow. I’m going to be entirely honest, I was not expecting this to be so throughly well done. This is insanely in-character to the games. But really, I appreciate the point you made with Mia in the end. Given the topic of this video, it’d sound like something she’d actually say. It’s fitting, and the right perspective too. In the end shipping shouldn’t be something people should fight about. As long as it’s not harmful and no one’s getting hurt, people can ship who they want. This video was a pleasant watch, pretty funny and surprisingly insightful. This was incredibly edited too, great quality. Fantastic job!
Great. Honestly, though, I wouldn't have been able to help myself to have the final witness support any or all of the ships after the sppech. Before just leaving.
That part where Maya said Nick wanted to suffocate in Mia's... err... body part that you'd be thinking about was just hilarious for the vinyl sound effect that happens.
You know what? I am very satisfied with the ending. I was worried that it was gonna turn out to be another NaruMitsu video where most of the characters are into NaruMitsu and quarrels with characters who don’t ship the same ship they like (except for Pearl).
As a NaruMitsu shipper/enjoyer, this was hilarious, especially because it was really in-character LMAO In any case it's cool that the conclusion was that shipping is supposed to be fun and not a subject for fighting. I think AA is actually a more chill fandom in this regard because there really isn't a lot to fight over, but it really pisses me off in general when people can't respect others' opinions and move on with their lives. I rest my case people
I'm honestly shocked that I found this video just now despite being quite the fan of the Ace Attorney series for a long while, this video's actually really, really funny and I enjoyed every second of it
Okay, but the judge isnt wrong there. Maya did explicitly describe her sister as hot, while asserting nicks mourning and melancholy (which maya also indulges in) was out of love.
I'm legit surprised there's very few spin offs in this series, and I think with how good the artwork is of this series,a dating sim on the side isn't the worst thing, maybe with a whole different cast of people in the city that has little to do with the lawyer side of stuff outside a cameo of wright and co. Offices and maybe take a wallet to a police station to give to meekins or gumshoe lol
When I heard the Blue Badger’s theme at the very end, I suddenly remembered Dick, and it got my hopes up for Wright x Gumshoe; before I remembered Dick, I had been thinking about Butz, Godot, and Gant, for some reason, but I definitely thought Mia was going to say Wright x Godot. It also wasn’t until I finished writing that last sentence that I even remembered that Franziska von Karma even existed; gods, I’m a mess.
5:02 honestly that's my first impression of Maya at first as everything else looked japan-iforic, yet if she was a time traveling girl from the past or some other parallel earth, I'd believe it 😅
I am... .SO HAPPY that someone FINALLY critically analysed the whole Narumitsu twisted tales. Seriously guys, can we not just accept that alternatives are possible? It really is difficult sometimes to be in the fandom with people pretending certain ships are canonical when they absolutely are not. Also, Edgeworth's character here is so on point I can't even.... THANK YOU.

Everyone who's ever dated her has been murdered. Then again, you could have Trucy get framed for his murder, and then have Maya channel his spirit to make sure that somebody defends his daughter. Maybe Pearl gets in on the action, and channels another dead lawyer (Gregory Edgeworth, Mia Fey, Durke Sadmadhi - take your pick) to support him at the bench. The first one would be the best if Miles were the prosecutor - and, given how his childhood friend had just been killed, it's a safe bet that Edgeworth would be on the warpath. Make sure to include lines like "OBJECTION! Your honor, I was murdered, not disbarred! Therefore I still have the right to practice law!" and "What's wrong, Miles? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Honestly, that would be the best ending to the Ace Attorney franchise. Phonex Wright, channeled by Maya, solves his own murder and saves his daughter.

Ships will always be argued about but so long as everyone realizes that there's no way any of them will ever be canon because Capcom would lose money, it becomes clear there's no reason to get angry about the ships and just enjoy them on an individual basis.

i actually disagree about feenris cuz like, even if phoenix does say "you were always the person i thought you were." it doesn't change the fact that iris brings up some... bad memories. neither does it change the fact that iris was deceiving phoenix for years, or the fact that she is a criminal that helped dispose of maya's mother's body.
plus, there were a ton of narumayo and narumitsu moments in that game, especially narumayo, ngl. but hey, i have my opinion and you have yours, its all just a matter of perspective at the end of the day. i respect all ships as long as they're... worthy of respect.

I don’t wanna come for your ship but surely you must understand that it is kinda problematic
@LuckLadyUnicornxc
I kind of disagree here, I just wanted to share my opinion about what you mentioned:
Maggey and Dustin were only in one case, and Phoenix even himself mentioned the age gap when the point of marriage was brought up- it was a rather major age gap, I agree, and Maggey stated she wasn't into Dustin that way, IIRC.

14:21 That’s exactly why Pearl ships you and him together…
So.... This video inspired me to come up with this cringey quote:
*"There's Your OTP, and My OTP. But, there's never THE OTP"*
Hope y'all use it wisely! 🙂
The whole gallery literally being Twitter is what made me laugh so hard at this.
Superb work with making this man.
Great. Honestly, though, I wouldn't have been able to help myself to have the final witness support any or all of the ships after the sppech. Before just leaving.
They think it's true love but Phoenix just constantly risks his life or does drastic decisions for literally any friend or anybody at all
That part where Maya said Nick wanted to suffocate in Mia's... err... body part that you'd be thinking about was just hilarious for the vinyl sound effect that happens.
this was so nice actually. it made me think of what if they actually had knowledge of the shipping community considering them. it's really funny
This is how I got introduced to the AA fandom. Thank you.
13:58 Phoenix really is a true man of culture
You know what? I am very satisfied with the ending. I was worried that it was gonna turn out to be another NaruMitsu video where most of the characters are into NaruMitsu and quarrels with characters who don’t ship the same ship they like (except for Pearl).
Imagine this trial in the Supreme Court
Imagine any fandom with ongoing shipping wars on the Supreme Court
As a NaruMitsu shipper/enjoyer, this was hilarious, especially because it was really in-character LMAO
In any case it's cool that the conclusion was that shipping is supposed to be fun and not a subject for fighting. I think AA is actually a more chill fandom in this regard because there really isn't a lot to fight over, but it really pisses me off in general when people can't respect others' opinions and move on with their lives. I rest my case people
Ace attorney shipping community is the most chaotic fanbase I have ever experienced. I regret taking part in it :/
@Mr.CChaach wrightworth vs narumayo lol
8:45 and now, the trial turns into a dating game with Wright being the contestant
“Why can’t my sister have someone who cares about her above all else?”
Godot: *theme intensifies*
I'm honestly shocked that I found this video just now despite being quite the fan of the Ace Attorney series for a long while, this video's actually really, really funny and I enjoyed every second of it
I can imagine Dahlia haunting Phoenix like a poultergeist just like in this video, it would be the funniest thing ever XD
okay, this was very cool but i did expect that mia at the end would quietly say "WrightXJudge" or smth but she's not a degenerate 😮💨

Okay, but the judge isnt wrong there. Maya did explicitly describe her sister as hot, while asserting nicks mourning and melancholy (which maya also indulges in) was out of love.
Based off what Lor3_sp@ce says..
its obvious what the OTP is.
Godot x Coffee.
In this case Phoenix himself said what his favorite ship is how are you going to say it is other than when he says😂
i am rooting for: no one!! not everyone needs a lover.
This would later go on to be known as the shipping defense, commonly used to waste time and derail normal proceedings.
Pearl is too precious for this world.
The answer is right in front of us. Afterall, he is the ACE attorney
5:02 honestly that's my first impression of Maya at first as everything else looked japan-iforic, yet if she was a time traveling girl from the past or some other parallel earth, I'd believe it 😅
I was scared Edgeworth was going to say “I think Wright and Butz is a sensible ship”, or Gumshoe was going to pop in and say that. (Or Larry himself)
I believe that his honour should get a life and realise his 1,937,396,393,739,387,948 grandkids don't actually care about him
I am... .SO HAPPY that someone FINALLY critically analysed the whole Narumitsu twisted tales. Seriously guys, can we not just accept that alternatives are possible? It really is difficult sometimes to be in the fandom with people pretending certain ships are canonical when they absolutely are not. Also, Edgeworth's character here is so on point I can't even.... THANK YOU.
So true!
Yeah... I like Wrightworth but I know it's not canon, nor am I going to force anyone to believe it's the one true AA ship either.
“Sure. Go on, witness! As long if you don’t end up derailing then entire trial at least.”
Sorry, what did you say?
They should've used Maya's spirit medium powers to ask Mia if she even had feelings for Pheonix, how ridiculous they didn't
I like how to Compensate for the Lack of a Fitting Character to Take on the role of the Obsessive Shipping Fandom Side, you Instead had the Judge Play that Role
(Personally, I Think Sal Marbella from TaS Could’ve Worked, Albeit with lower Case Relevance and so)
I Think it Was a Good Call you Made
Overall a Really Enjoyable Watch!
I literally have a dilemma.
I love Phoenix x Maya. But i also love Maya x Franziska. But i also love Phoenix x Edgeworth. THINKING ABOUT CHOOSING ONE OF THEM DRIVES ME CRAZY, BECAUSE I LOVE ALL OF THEM. And i also like Iris x Phoenix. This one had the most probabilities of being canon, buuut Iris stopped appearing in the games.
Welcome to multishipper hell, enjoy your stay.
bro the age gap between phoenix and maya is awful???? wasn’t she 17 the first time they met?? and he was also 24 at the time, that is a 7 year age gap,but i understand if you meant you ship them in souls of justice
@@heartshapedchoco What?! You saying a guy's gotta marry someone the same age of himself, Pal?

*The Bailiff:* I ship him with Lamiroir.
That actually works on some level, ngl.
That is like Ash finding out Professor Oak is banging his mom.
You look like you've seen a ghost!"
Honestly, that would be the best ending to the Ace Attorney franchise. Phonex Wright, channeled by Maya, solves his own murder and saves his daughter.
"I was confused what Edgeworth and I had to do with watercrafts."
This line is f***ing gold
