Whoever worked on building the interiors for these courtrooms did a great job... the tables hold up pretty well considering how often they're hit!
as a defense attorney, i can confirm that everyone slams the tables 90% of the trial and we all wear flashy clothing
considering ancient times hardly surprising. hell most romans got their carreers started in courts, guys like cicero are a prime example,this was basically their public stage and Showbusiness and charisma was as important as evidence.
