let me give a mindset shift: many people feel bad about breaking the streak but it's actually a good thing that you are feeling bad that means you despise this disgusting act that means your rational neuron pathways are becoming stronger and those primal horny ass shit porno pathways are becoming weak you are going to become a absolute unit of the man -much love 😁
Pro tips to quit porn 1. Gather knowledge about porn addiction 2. Change your environment 3. Replace porn habits with healthy habits 4. Be ready for withdrawl symptoms, calm down and endure the affects 5. Avoid triggers
According to the list of questions/conditions concerning porn addiction, I'm not addicted or even sidetracked by porn. Does this mean I have a healthy level of porn use? Could porn be considered medicinal or therapeutic? Are there prescriptions for porn so I can get discounts at the porn dispensaries? Just asking for a friend.
Actually, there is no definitive answer to this (although anti-porn campaigners will sustain that science states that porn is unhealthy, without citing sources on psychology/psychiatry). What I have found in some studies, is that it can detrimental to some and help other ones. To be safe, is better to watch your consumption and reduce/stop/evaluate if it's impacting your quality of life. Like any mental health issue (which of course takes in consideration biology, but several other aspects of humanity as well), it needs a self-knowledge aspect, and the companionship of a professional is better.
No. Even small amounts of porn use effect your intimate relationships. No real woman can ever compete with the images you've seen. Even with just a few times a week it effects your sex life in negative ways. The numerous studies on this ALL conclude that the effects are negative on intimate relationships. So even if you think it's harmless...it effects the chemicals in the brain that are responsible for bonding and human connection during sex. Tragic really...
I'm not an expert on porn addiction or any neuroscience/psychology in general, just another person on a journey to quit porn. With that said, a free book on quitting porn (The Easy Peasy Method) has a chapter on "safe" substitutes for porn, such as TikTok, UA-cam, Twitter, Instagram, etc. If I recall correctly, using sexy videos on TikTok (or anything equivalent) may not necessarily be porn, but the effect on your mind is closely related to porn and may lead your brain back to using porn, so it's recommended to not indulge in videos like that either. The way they described it is like a waterslide. Each time you look at porn or something like it, it rewets the slide, making it easier to slip into old habits.
I recently broke my streak of 101 days of no PMO.. And I did NOT feel good about it. I'm hoping to beat my record now.. Wish me luck and strength..
No porn 😮 also or only nofap.
Focus on the whole process but not numbers. 1 per 101 days is extremely good compared to many people. It means 99% of achievement! Good luck 🥰
What changes you feel in those 100 days

I was addicted to porn. But now I don't like porn anymore. Certain Tiktoks and reels excites me. Is it less dangerous than porn ?
