@@UnrealEngine5tutorial from scratch means that you made the models from nothing to the finished model. You cant use quixel (models made by someone els) and say that you made everything from scratch xDD Man you aint done shit there you just leached on quixel assets

Dragonup is totally correct here. This is NOT "from scratch". I came here specifically to get chops on creating the campfire. The title of this is totally misleading. IMO a base definition of "from scratch" with regards to UE would be that it not require PAID assets. The ultra dynamic sky, the fireplace pack, those are all paid, buttoned up, tested & polished. Like buying a pre-built LEGO set: yea you can play with it. But you didnt build it, man!
@@UnrealEngine5tutorial you speed up the video in many areas with no voice over. It takes the viewer much effort to backup, reduce speed, rewatch to try to pause for the about settings, and then return to normal speed. When there are so many UE5 videos on UA-cam I usually follow the path of the least resistance. Also if the title says it takes about hour then I generally know what I’m in for, no shortcuts. Speeding up wait times is completely understandable though for downloading, compilation or building, yada. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the tutorial, some valuable things in here. didn't know about the displacement features!
Glad I could help
