Guys, seriously. I know that it's disruptive and heartbreaking to lose a beloved lead singer who really characterized and branded your band (big Nightwish fan, here). But Kamelot really lucked out in grabbing Tommy. He's fantastic. Amazing live performer, outstanding voice, and even sounds like Khan. It's a bit eerie. Give him a chance. I think you'll be pleased with the new album. He's doing great, and really understands the music.
Tommy is great. But Roy will always give the special goose bumps. And yes Tommy sounds very much like Roy...

The melancholy in his singing for this song is beautiful and haunting.

as much as he is missed we gotta be happy that he's happy now... kamelot with Roy was an important part of my adolescence, and so his voice will be carved in my memory, as something peaceful and beatiful which makes me miss him a lot more... but kamelot from my point of view hasn't made bad decisions band wise and Tommy. Tommy i think he's a worthy successor to Roy's legacy...

Well speak for yourself cause I can't stand the new sound of Kamelot. Everytime I listen a new song I just get dissapointed. And believe me I tried and I consider Tommy a great singer but I stopped appreciating them in Silverthorn álbum.
The good thing Is that Roy Is back (with f***king Conception!!) and now we all can listen his beautiful voice again. :')

What a freaking awesome album "Poetry for the Poisoned" was. The DARKEST and most EPIC of all Kamelot albums.

Not my favourite but still one hell of an album

12 years since the first time i heard this song for the first time... and it is still my favourite song of all times. Perfect, there is no other way to describe it

This song in my opinion has the best guitar solo Kamelot has ever introduced. Although Khan has leftthe band Kamelot will continue to remain as a legend, they were pretty big before the world knew them, Kamelot didn't need MTV to grow... this is what I call true talent.

This genre focuses on vocals, it's not known for its guitarist but damn that is an outstanding solo.
It's an outstanding solo because it's a special guest doing this solo, ie Gus G. formerly from Firewind.
Check that band out (featured an awesome singer as well, Appolo Papathanasio) Allegiance or Premonition are killer albums.

Roy cannot be replaced, but Tommy was a damn good choice. He's phenomenal.
This song was written by Thomas for his mom who died during the making of this album. Hunter's season refers to spring.

Tommy can do pretty damn well in filling his footsteps in my opinion. He's no Roy, but he's a new chapter for Kamelot. A chapter we should learn to love, because I'm certain Roy would want the same.

I hope Tommy fits like Roy did, only in his own way, and that Kamelot remains the same potent force they were with Roy. Roy is too good to lose, so maybe after a hiatus, he will make a comeback with someone else.

Just listen to the wedding song. It shows that his voice was fine. Maybe he could not hi the highest notes any more but he could still perform masterfully.

Roy Khan left the band at the peak of their performance. He and Thomas Youngblood were like best friends, and Roy sure left Thomas in a tough spot. I vow to continue supporting the band after Khan's departure, because this is now their time of need. Kamelot needs its fans to be strong for them and welcome their new singer, rather than pissing their pants over Roy.
Yes, he has :) But I still miss Roy not only because he's no longer with Kamelot but because he's not doing music at all

I think the thing that bothers the hardcore Kamelot fans most is....what form will it take? Since Roy joined we've gotten addicted to this Symphonic Goth Metal and we're not looking for anything else from them. But.....we have to. Good choice signing Tommy on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They say the album is almost done. With no Roy and no Tommy. We'll probably still enjoy it. . Another thing was Roys lyrics! Original, incredible. I'm seeing them on Sept. 21 and 22. Sept.21 is with Nightwish!
