Hi, Dr. Bailey-I’m just starting my Invisalign journey and I should have my aligners within a month or so. I am so glad I found your channel; I’m watching all your videos! Thank you so much for discussing IPR. My dentist has told me that she’ll need to do this on a few teeth and I am a bit apprehensive about it. Hearing your thoughts and experience with it has helped calm my fears. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! All the best to you.

My orthodontist not doing IPR as he say it is too dangerous and will make teeth too sensitive. Will be very bad for teeth health in long run. 🙏🏻

Your orthodontist has likely taken into consideration many factors such as the overall health of your teeth and gums, the position of your teeth, and the potential for tooth sensitivity or other complications when making their decision. They have likely determined that, in your specific case, the risks outweigh the benefits and have chosen a different approach to your treatment.
It's important to trust your orthodontist's expertise and experience, they have the necessary knowledge to make the best decision regarding your treatment plan. If you are still concerned or have any questions about the treatment plan, it's always a good idea to discuss them with your orthodontist or other dental professional. They can explain their reasoning in more detail and address any concerns you may have.

Hi Dr! I’m wearing aligners. Sometimes a side of my tongue gets hurt and gives me a burning sensation which is probably due to the aligners scratching my tongue and this happens usually when I’m sleeping. What can I do?
