gregorygrice lol, this morning, on the Hudson line, I noticed a metro north P32AC-DM moving toward Marble Hill hauling 7 Shoreliner coaches. The platform lights just above the trucks of this genesis locomotive consisted of LED lights. Usually, the platform lights on the locomotive are incandescent bulbs. I couldn't tell if this was locomotive #225 or not.

I'm surprised the damaged engine wasn't put on a flatcar nor does it appear the train's speed was restricted.

I wonder, what is the progress on Engine # 225. Hopefully, it gets back to being in revenue service at the end of 2014 or sometime in 2015.
Released from Altoona a couple days ago. Should be on it's way back in a few days.
