Looks like a great set up, stunning views too! I'm lucky enough to have an Atom pack and it's the best trecking bag I've ever had. Well worth the investment. Thanks for taking the time to share.👍😊
Nice summer tent Chris....i have too many tents already or i have a tent fetish but thats one i will be keeping an eye out for when the coin collection is at max flow. Thanks for sharing.
10kg for all this? I can't believe it.This must be a mistake. My rucksack full for several days but without camping, cooking or photo equipment weighs 7 or 8kg and believe me I only carry the strict minimum. My rucksack itself is feather light (600g)
@@ChrisTownsendOutdoor Do you know the weight of your rucksack (empty), tent, cooking gear, thermarest, tripod? You say that your sleeping bag was 600g (the weight of mine is similar: 550g but it's not included in the 7/8kg I mentioned earlier). Just 1 liter of water weighs 1kg already
@@nicarb I review gear for The Great Outdoors so I weigh everything! On this trip the tent was 1.18kg, the pack 925g, the mat 230g, and the tripod 600g. I didn't carry more than 1/2 litre of water as there's plenty available.

Nice camp that Chris. Thanks for sharing.
A rough video I made in early June about the gear I used on a high camp in the Cairngorms
Great video thanks for taking us on a littld tour. More please. We should collaborate somehow with something.
Nice video
Thanks
Thanks Chris, I was wondering whether these pale tent colours just the fashion, or is there some underlying reason ?
No reason I know. Seem populkar with US companies.

No, 10kg it was. I did a trip in Knoydart recently and the weight with five days food and heavier camping gear was 14kg.

It's surprising it adds up esp if Chris is carrying camera gear.
