Robin’s death hit me super mega hard. It’s one of those “I remember where I was when” moments. I was in my room & it came on my phone that he died & I ran outside to my parents, on the pool deck and said “you won’t believe it, Robin Williams died”. Very sad because he was my #1 bonified favourite comedian, actor & entertainer.
I CAN NOT watch Patch Adams or Mrs. Doubtfire without learning something new every time.

John Belushi, my gosh. Think of how many comedians we wouldn't have if not for him.
Bob Saget as Danny Tanner from Full House was a staple of my childhood.
Norm MacDonald, I'm so glad I got a chance to see him in concert.

God knew when enough had happened to Robin Williams, and I’d have many memories of Robin. It’s too bad you didn’t enjoy enough of what he did to entertain anybody before he died.
It’s not that I don’t care what people say when they say they want a dead person back. I understand why those people say that, but it wouldn’t be any use bringing anyone back from the dead because what more would be worth happening to them regarding safety?

Every comic on this list is GREATLY missed by all. They all kept us all just a little happier when we were down in the pits, literally in the shits or trying to find some amount of joy from the everyday thing that is life.
I also believe that if they were alive today that they'd get us back to a semblance of common sense in a world that is now divided and at each other's throats almost everyday for the most mundane of things.
I personally went to Robin Williams for my joy and to reignite the "spark" in my life. Much like everyone else, i miss him and the others dearly.

    Heard joke once:
Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain.
Doctor says: "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up."
Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor…I am Pagliacci."
Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

Yes! I was so shocked when my mom texted me that Gilbert Gottfried had died. That was just a week after the death of Estelle Harris who I remember as Muriel, the maid at the Tipton hotel on “The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody”. Hard to believe it’s been a few months since they both passed on already. Both of them definitely had very unique voices, very high-pitched and nasally.

I have followed most of the comics on this list from the time that I was in kindergarden during the early 80s and they were all super awesome for sure. I remember John Ritter in the IT mini series and how well he was in that along with being a sadistic uncle who was a police cheif in the 4th Chucky film, The Bride of Chucky and seeing both John Ritter and Gilbert Gottfried in the 2nd Problem Child film in 1992. However, Robin Williams will always be my favorite for both drama and comedy and it is too bad that no one knew what he truly had until after his death 8yrs ago. And, Robin Harris and George Carlin should both be on this list for sure.

I found by just random circumstances, Patrice O'Neol. He was at his best, live on the radio. I happened to find Opie & Anthony in a market that usually don't do risky shows. I immediately knew I was in a special place at a special time. I heard him and realized he was special and made me laugh when my life was such that all I did was cry. I credit O'Neil and Rich Vos and O & A for me breaking out of that funk and by extension saved my life. I still to this day find old shit and listen and it's just as good now as it was then. I still get jokes I didn't get then.

    4. Phil Hartman (49)
