I LOVE this jet. Had mine grounded for over a year after the front retract failed off grass. Replaced the whole front assembly with a 70mm acanti gear fixed in with cotton and thin ca. The nose gears indestructible now . She flew awesomely with the agfrc servos you recommended.
Great video as usual!!! I watch all your videos and have been since the beginning! Your landing tutorials are absolutely my favorites, if you can incorporate how to judge your approach speeds and altitude on decent it would be greatly appreciated!!! Keep up the great work! Look forward to each and every video you put out, thanks Robert
Hi, there. Love your channel. Just getting back into RC aircraft after 15 years out. Was thinking of this as a first EDF jet after my P47. I fly off of really flat astroturf, can I ask, do you think this would be a good choice for me? Back in the day I flew everything, warbirds, sport planes, helis, even a very old T33 ducted fan
We'd definitely *not* recommend this as a first-time jet. It requires a good bit of experience that a pilot accustomed to flying warbirds won't intuitively have. Join us on Discord via bit.ly/TBRCDiscord and we can help guide you.
If you're planning to do beginner to intermediate flying, you should stick with the stock servos. If you want to push it, we'd recommend using tinyurl.com/B13DLM servos.
I think 6:46 was an unexpected "flash stall" and you came out of it nicely. May I ask, aside from the larger EDF and size, what are the primary differences between the E-flight F-16 70mm and 80mm? I'm planning on getting one or the other to accompany my Viper 90mm.
It was definitely an accelerated stall - the G load was 1.5 Gs at too low of an airspeed to sustain it. The 70mm vs 80mm was covered a while back - you'll probably find this interesting: ua-cam.com/video/VYa52bnoE8s/v-deo.html
Jon could you pass me in the right direction to one of your vids that shows how to do the mix where the gyro gains go up and down with throttle please. Cheers. Mark 🇬🇧
I have the 5000 6s pack all the way back and still cant get mine to flatspin. On the f22 its so much easier. On the f16 it just kindof twirls down towards the side commanding aileron input instead of the flat spin.

Happy to hear you got it running on grass. It's definitely not built for that at all.
Great video Jon! Thanks for the AS3X settings presentation as well, I’ll give them a try 🙏🏻
Your wife does a great job with the camera work! Really excellent job keeping this jet in frame. Now to put it on floats....
Love this jet , the falcon is the best one to me , great flight and moves 💯💪
You need to do a comparison video of this and the freewing V2 90mm f16
Already in the works. Waiting on the F-16 v2 we bought to arrive, then we'll publish a comparison in the near future.
@@TwoBrosRC man your on top of things! Love it!!

Thank you!
FMS produced it. E-Flite is just a HH's brand name on top.
FMS manufactured it, but HH absolutely worked with them to make this jet as good as it is.

Just got it. The thunderbirds version. Looking forward to taking it out. But dang should I upgrade the servos?hehe and now the afterburner.

Nice F16, not my favorite plane but looks and seems to fly well.

Toward the end in the setup guide should be the info you're looking for.
Makes me want to buy one! :p
BTW, I'm pretty sure Kvochur's bell ain't a cobra spin. More like a tailslide.
You should definitely get it one of these days.
Awesome flight!! May I know the benefits of using LiHV battery? Thanks!
LiHV is lightweight, carries more capacity for a given weight, and generally runs more powerfully.
So ESC can be survived from this slightly high voltage?
@@falconeetw Yes.

Use a lighter battery. 4400 is our best pack for that kind of flying.
Nice jet! My wife won’t speak to me.
That's unfortunate.
Are those wheels DuBros? If so, what size and wheels are they? Might get some for mine
2.25" wheels: amzn.to/43mLeqN
@@TwoBrosRC thank you! Did you just swap the mains or is the nose wheel also DuBro?
Any plans to fly the Xfly T-7A Redhawk 80mm?
We'd like to.
Do you have a affiliate link or something for SMC so they know you sent us?. About to place a decent sized order while they have the sale going
Just toss a note in saying we sent ya over, if that's OK. We don't have any affiliate arrangements with Danny.
@@TwoBrosRC happy to do it wouldn't even know about them if not for you guys
No air speed data?
Spektrum doesn't sell pitot tubes. The only speed we'd be able to measure would be GPS speed, and we didn't install the GPS for this flight.
