I think they're booing Rey was more of a formality than hate towards Rey because it wasn't his fault. Them booing him was just him being a victim of circumstance.
Yea man. I was at the Rumble that year. I was one of the few that cheered when he came out. Obviously people wanted Daniel Bryan, which I wanted too, but I wasn't hopeful and I definitely didn't want to take it out on Rey. I kinda knew Bryan wouldn't be in it. At the time, for a few years in a row, whoever had a match earlier in the night would not be in the Rumble later. They technically still do that, unless it's someone like Roman (2017) or Brock (2022)
It's insane how much my dad loves hornswaggle. He would literally celebrate when the diminutive little guy showed up. To me he represented everything about when McMahon had a stupid idea he wanted to shove down our throats... but my dad? I think hornswaggle might be his fave wwe "athlete"
did simon forget to mention the time in 92 rumbel where randy savage voluntarily jumped over the top rope to go after jake roberts eliminating himself , but then the announcers had to cover for him and say he was still in it cause no one threw him over the top rope.
Tazz. Debut in 2000 Royal Runble vs Kurt was good. Went steady downhill from there and by 2001 Rumble he was in the actual rumble match less than 20 seconds (and I’m being generous with the time) 🤣
Two quick points macho man also “eliminated” himself in the 92 rumble but they said you have to be thrown by someone and lex Luger wasn’t in the 91 rumble
I was so confused when I was younger when gorilla monsoon called Carlos colon a "youngster", I legit thought this was some new young debuting superstar that had a gimmick of looking like an old guy
Depending on your definition of a PPV, I guess. Since the term is used somewhat interchangable with Supercard in recent years you'd have to take SuperClash in 1985 and a Clash of the Champions from 1990 into consideration for PPV-Appearances from Mil Máscaras.
There's one problem with that masked Mexican wrestler in the Royal Rumble... He never actually eliminated himself. He went through the ropes to climb the turnbuckle and jump to the outside. Therefore, he never went *over* the top rope. But WWE have screwed up the rules anyways, because a few years prior, when someone accidently eliminated themselves, the refs made the call that in the rules it states that you have to be thrown over the top rope, so you can't eliminate yourself. But this is WWE, and they make up their own rules which change to fit what they need at the time lol.
FFS! Mil Mascaras DIDN'T climb over the top rope! He went between the middle and top rope before climbing the turnbuckle. Haven't you ever watched the match, Simon?
@@bobmarshall8527 Could have at least had him jump up to the top rope (like RVD used to, instead of climbing out the ropes then up) to do the elbow drop and then a chicken shit heel knocks him off. It was a unique idea. Not all unique ideas are worth pursuing.
Just re-watched the part where Yokozuna eliminated Savage by kicking out of the pin so forcefully that Randy went over the top rope. It was even worse than I remembered. Just too obvious that Savage jumped. 😒
It's too bad you didn't wait to do this until after today, then you could have added "nobody" since apparently Rey being taken out was a better option than actually have someone there.
Actually transforming from a bloodthirsty terretories tag team to a comedy acts for kids, while making (probably) more money and prolonging your career was a brilliant move for both bushwackers!
Mantaur...to quote Wrestlecrap: "Half man, half bull...all shit." Of the drizzling variety even. Mantaur later returned to WWF as Tank of The Truth Commission.
I’m continually confused by people’s derision of Mantaur as an idea when in modern wrestling we have Black Taurus doing pretty darn well….obvs it didn’t work then and wasn’t executed well but a man with a bull head wrestling is clearly a viable idea
didn't randy savage eliminate himself in 1992 rumble as well. wwe had to change the rules specifically for that incident for that rumble only because he wasn't supposed to jump over the top rope
They didn't change the rules until after that. He jumped out but was allowed back in and they explained it as he had to be "thrown out" to be eliminated.
@@justin_your_cousin9273 Macho is a Spanish word. The British don't get on us for pronouncing words differently from them, at least not as much as we do.
You have confused some worst performances with entrants. Warlord had one of the worst performances in the RR, but by now means is he the worst entrant. Not even close. Worst by far would be Drew Carey.
Mil Máscaras was a badass, loved that guy. Even though Simon called him Mil Marascas because he doesn’t care enough to get Mexican wrestlers names right ever.
you guys gotta stop doing "the worst of" compilations exclusively. I want to get pumped up for the rumble but 100% of your content this year is worst of
Two quick points macho man also “eliminated” himself in the 92 rumble but they said you have to be thrown by someone and lex Luger wasn’t in the 91 rumble
The line about Hornswoggle being the solution to all the storylines WWE couldn't be arsed to finish properly was A-perfect from Simon....
So Hornswoggle actually holds the royal rumble record at like 2 years and 47 minutes
Sorry Curtis Axel lol
I feel so bad for Rey. He doesn’t deserve getting booed like that.
I think they're booing Rey was more of a formality than hate towards Rey because it wasn't his fault. Them booing him was just him being a victim of circumstance.

You know you've failed big time when Rey Mysterio gets booed. Not his fault at all, WWE screwed up so bad not having Bryan in the match
Hee's a bad father worse than Gendo Ikari, Shou Tucker, Endeavor, Isshin Kurosaki and Chris Benoit.
Wrong video homie.
Simon, you somehow forgot to put Shane McMahon from 2022 on this list.
Oof.
I have never heard Simon sound angry until the intro to Mantaur haha. "Now look at this s***!"

The best part about the Bushwacker Luke thing was that Butch was in the match for at least 10 minutes, but they both still got the same payout.
Hey @whatculture Simon Miller correction Lex Luger wasn’t in the 1991 Royal Rumble when Luke Bushwacker was eliminated Luger was in WCW at that time
Came here to say this...
If you're going to mention Macho Man on this list, you should've included the time that he eliminated himself.
Hornswoggle is the real Royal rumble winner in my heart
Hornswoggle has a BIG heart.
Tazz.
Debut in 2000 Royal Runble vs Kurt was good. Went steady downhill from there and by 2001 Rumble he was in the actual rumble match less than 20 seconds (and I’m being generous with the time) 🤣
Mil Mascaras. "Mil Malaskas" 😜😂
"Mil Molasses"
“No job!” -Mil Mascaras
Wardlord, Wardlow, Warlor... Warlord. Finally got it. 🤣
Owen Hart lasted as long as Mo in the '95 Rumble...
If Cena didn't go over the top rope after he won the Royal Rumble in 2008 that means he never got eliminated.
You should feel bad abou6 Mo. Talk about lemons out of lemonade lol
Rey Mysterio coming out as #30 was one of the biggest let downs in Royal Rumble AND wrestling history.
Simon Miller for world 🌍 president 2024

You forgot James Ellsworth the fact he got tricked and Braun Stroman eliminated him also injuring his back.

Yokozuna was not picking anyone up to eliminate them after being in the match for that long hence why Macho Man did what he did
Gorilla's line about Carlos Colon being a youngster was a rib
The disrespect to Carlos Colon
Johnny Knoxville. His appearance checks so many boxes that made it one of the worst.
So technically Hornswoggle won the 2008 Royal Rumble
Michael Cole better be #1
like 5 of these entries would change if it was made after the rumble
Drew Carey.
Was this re-uploaded?
Simon's got AEW on the brain. He keeps calling the Warlord Wardlow.
Was wondering if I was the only one noticing that.
I remember being very upset when Warlord was eliminated and so quickly.
FFS! Mil Mascaras DIDN'T climb over the top rope! He went between the middle and top rope before climbing the turnbuckle. Haven't you ever watched the match, Simon?
I never understood why Randy Savage tried to pin Yokozuna in a rumble match 🤦🏿♂️
I think they thought it was a cool elimination but it made Savage look dumb, they probably could have found another way to do the same finish

According to Simon Miller, Drew Carey was a better Rumble Entrant than Macho Man Randy Savage
Carlos Colón, el acróbata de Puerto Rico.
Warlord is always in my boy stable.
Lex Luger wasn’t in the rumble in 91. He wasn’t even in the WWF until 1993
Forgot Curtis Axel in the 2015 royal rumble, he got attacked on his way to the ring, and technically never got eliminated. 😂😭
There could be a Top 5 ot 6 of Wrestlers who Were NEVER ELIMINATED from the Rumble.

Shane McMahon in 2022

Regal is coming back tonight
Drew Carey comes to my mind.. he eliminated himself cause he was scared of Kane.
You can add cody at 30 to this
Are we forgetting Drew Carey in 2001?
Titus O’Neil?!
Lex Luger wasn't in the 1991 Royal rumble get your facts straight
Um. Lex Luger was in WCW in 1991.
Any celebrity
I’ll take Sweaty Shane over a silent crowd any day😂😂.
I love him and I ain’t sorry.

Mil Máscaras was a badass, loved that guy. Even though Simon called him Mil Marascas because he doesn’t care enough to get Mexican wrestlers names right ever.
I thought Gilberg and Luke were hilarious. I don’t consider them as the worst at all. And…did Simon call Warlord, Wardlow?
You missed Drew Carey.
you guys gotta stop doing "the worst of" compilations exclusively. I want to get pumped up for the rumble but 100% of your content this year is worst of
Hornswoggle is awesome and I'm very disappointed that Simon read this. Hope he didn't write it.
Sorry. You made a worst entrant list and never included either of the bellas? What in the name?
Kross is a HORRIBLE opponent for Rey Mysterio.
