Although he specifically asked to NOT be credited as "part of the band" as he didn't feel that he really deserved to be included as part of such rare talent
Sadly only Jeff and Bob left, but man what an assemblage of talent! not bad for a song based off seeing the line "handle with care" on a cardboard box.
Per Songfacts This was the first single from The Traveling Wilburys, a supergroup created by George Harrison and Jeff Lynne. Initially an informal grouping with Roy Orbison and Tom Petty, they got together at Bob Dylan's Santa Monica, California, studio to quickly record an additional track as a B-side for the single release of Harrison's song "This Is Love." "Handle With Care" was the song they came up with, which Harrison and his record company immediately realized was too good to be released as merely a B-side. The five superstars decided to form a band and make an entire album, recording nine more songs at Dave Stewart's (of Eurythmics) house in Los Angeles in a 10-day window when they were all available. "Handle With Care" is a phrase that is sometimes stamped onto boxes to let delivery personnel know that the contents are fragile. In this song, the singer must be handled with care because he's been hurt in the past. Bob Dylan's studio, where they recorded the song, was in his garage, and George Harrison noticed a box that was marked "Handle With Care," thus inspiring the lyric.
Why no love for Buster Sidebury? Session drummer Jim Keltner (who has played on countless albums for lots of artists) was invited to be an official Wilbury, but he declined and said he was a Sidebury.
First guy singing is George Harrison of the Beatles (RIP), second guy (dark hair and glasses) is Roy Orbison (also RIP), when of the greatest early rock voices, third and fouth guys are Dylan and Petty, and fifth guy (longish, frizzy hair, beard and glasses) is Jeff Lynne from ELO. All of them are rock icons. This assemblage of artists is truly a super-group of singers, songwriters, and performers. None of them can be duplicated, but often imitated and always respected.
The 1st guy played with a group from England called the beatles and the 2nd guy as mentioned was Mr. Orbison. The other guys are pretty good too. So glad you're discovering some of the most iconic artists in modern music.
George Harrison- Beatles Roy Orbison- Legend (Pretty Woman-Blue Bayou-Crying) Tom Petty- Heartbreaker Bob Dylan- Poet laureate of the 60's Jeff Lynne- Electric Light Orchestra Jim Keltner- Drums
The GREATEST " Super Group " of all time - there's 5 of them Lex btw . The late George Harrison ( Beatles ) , the late Roy Orbison ( solo artist ) the late Tom Petty ( Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers ) , Bob Dylan ( solo artist ) and Jeff Lynne ( ELO ) . All superstars in their own right and a superb combination the like of which we will never see again !

I love this song so much. It reminds me of my childhood. Riding bikes with my friends. Ice cream from the cart. Swimming in a quarry, with my cousins. Not a care in the world 😁
The beauty of the super group Traveling Wilbur’s is that these guys were friends who liked playing. They felt like being in a band so. No ego nonsense just talented friends who love to play
The 1st singer is George Harrison, 2nd was Roy Orbison, 3rd was Bob Dylan, 4th was Tom Petty, 5th was Jeff Lynn. Those guy made a incredible band! I love this song!
WOW! You guys nailed this one! One of the best reactions ever!... but as an old guy the fact that you don't recognize all the members... I'm feeling mighty old. LOL! One of the guys was in The Beatles... man, I'm old.
I cannot believe you don't instantly recognise one of the best vocalists to ever come out of the USA! 'The second guy' is the late great Roy Orbison! And 'the other guy' is Grorge Harrison of The Beatles fame. Where have you been and what have you listened to all your lives? These are all true legends.
I think they can be excused for not instantly recognising someone who died before they were born. Amazing as Orbison was, his music hasn't endured in the popular culture as much as some others from that era. As to what they've been listening to - have you seen the channel before? It's basically turning into a Greatest Hits of the last 50+ years, as far as musical education goes they've got WAY more knowledge than I ever had at that age.
@@theritchie2173 Nonsense. I was born in the early 70's and can easily identify rock artists all the way back to the 1950's How does anyone call themselves a music fan and then not know who the f George Harrison is? Ridiculous.
@@neilmartin99 Well aren't you special. If you really want to make a fair comparison, you should be deeply familiar with lots of artists back to the 1930s. How well up are you on Shep Fields, or Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians? The Boswell Sisters? You've been listening to this stuff for nearly 50 years, they've been doing it for a couple. Music is a broad church, maybe other people have very different experiences to your own. We should be welcoming new listeners, not trying to put them down.
@@theritchie2173 When I was their age, I was very familiar with the top musicians from several eras. Then again, I didn't have a UA-cam channel with several thousand followers. Really...after doing this for this long and they still don't know the f George Harrison is? Did you hear those two butcher the reaction to Everybody Hurts by REM recently? They spent the entire review on Stipe's vocal inflections and completely missed the point of the song. How the hell does that even happen? The song meaning is so obvious. And don't compare the significance of music in the 30's and 40's to the music of the 60's and 70's in terms of historical relevance and importance. That's why you see young kids today wearing Beatles or Pink Floyd t-shirts. It was that influential. When I was growing up, kids certainly didn't wear Billie Holiday t-shirts.
@@neilmartin99 I don't watch all of their videos - only the ones where the song interests me - but yeah I've seen one or both of them (let's be honest, usually Brad) get it wrong now & again. Having said that, there are songs I've been listening to for 40+ years where I still don't even know the lyrics, but every guitar lick & drumbeat is stamped in my brain. I guess I just don't have the ears for it. That being said, I just finished watching 6 hours of Taylor Hawkins tribute concert and damn that was something special.
Pretty sure you know Roy Orbison, though you didn't recognize him. He started in the early 60s with hits like "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Crying," "Only the Lonely," "Blue Bayou," and he scored a hit in 1989, a month after he died, with "You Got It."
Y'all are so cute! "The first guy" is the legendary George Harrison, a former Beatle. "The second guy" is the legendary Roy Orbison. I love that you're starting to recognize some of the artists and voices you encounter. Keep going on your educational journey; there is much yet to learn! My take on this song is that it's about an older man (or woman, for that matter) who's had plenty of bad experiences in love relationships, but still has love to give, and it's urging this person they've just met to handle them carefully.
Now that we have lost many of these guys, I am so grateful that they got together for this collaboration. All famous in their own right. But together as friends was a true pleasure to watch and listen to these tunes
Lex, for homework tonight you must write George Harrison’s name 100 times! 😂 You’ve reacted enough times to him and the Beatles. Keep exploring, I love watching both your reactions 💕
I love the first guy (George Harrison) and the second guy (Roy Orbison) references...lol. So cute. Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynne (ELO) complete the ensemble of this "supergroup".
Plus legendary drummer, Jim Keltner. Pre-Wilburys he’d worked with Dylan, Harrison & Orbison. Also with; Barbra Streisand, BB King, Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Carley Simon, Simon & Garfunkel, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young & Many more. His credits are staggering.
The way George told it, he and Jeff were going to lunch in LA, Jeff calls Roy and asks him to join them, George gets a call from a record co in Europe and says "They need a song for the B Side of This Is Love", now they need a studio, George calls Bob "hey can we record a song in your garage?", sure come on over, Roy asks to tag along, George says "I have to pickup my guitar at Toms house", Tom wants to tag, get to Bobs and History
This was considered a supergroup formed by George Harrison from The Beatles, Tom Petty from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Jeff Lynne From ELO ( Electric Light Orchestra), Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison ( "the second guy", a true legend who outlived many tragic events in his life). Tom, Roy and George passed away.
It’s astounding to me that icons like Roy Orbison and George Harrison aren’t immediately identifiable to some… But then then I’m old. Kind of funny to hear them identified as thing one and thing two though. :) BTW, the other guy people often miss is Jeff Lynne of ELO. The superest of all super-groups!!!
I know what you mean about 'the second guy'... but decades later hearing this, being through all my own heartbreaks and breakups, wow, Roy Orbison's vocal vulnerability is incredible; what a stand-out. Took me decades to catch up to him... alas, I caught up.
They have a song called Nobody's Child. Omgoodness, my mom used to love that song when I was younger and she always teared up, every damn time. Such a beautiful song xo
The interesting thing about this supergroup is that the top dog in the group was only the third dog in the group he is most known for. Everyone else was known for being a top dog elsewhere, and if you asked those guys who was the brightest star in the Wilburys they'd all agree that George was it.
Interestingly enough the most prolific and arguably the most talented man in that group is Jeff Lynne. He's the guy less heard of in the mainstream. He's wearing sunglasses with the beard. He wrote songs for nearly all these blokes; especially Tom Petty. He had his own great band called Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). Has been a producer for so many other famous artists!
The 'first guy' was none other than George Harrison of that little band called...The Beatles!!! The 'second guy' was none other than the great Roy Orbison!!! Man, I love you two but you really do have some brushing up to do on rock music Royalty!!! Also the great Bob Dylan, as you know and Tom Petty who was the junior member and loved and was honored to be in a band with so many legends especially one of The Beatles!!! Then another one you might have missed...the great Jeff Lynne who was, and still is, the leader of E.L.O.!!! And last but not least the drummer, the legendary Jim Keltner who in his past has played with John Lennon, Ringo Starr and of course George Harrison throughout his career!!! Now you know! Step back in awe and admiration for these absolutely incredible musicians!!! Love you two!!!
I just watched this video. The guy singing lead is George Harrison( The Beatles), the guy with the black glasses is Roy Orbison( he originally released the song Pretty Woman), Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and the guy with the sunglasses and beard is Jeff Lynn, the founder of ELO. This song was their first release as The Traveling Wilburys. Great song.
That second guy is Roy Orbinson, one of the best voices ever. He was around since the 50s and left us this century but not before giving us some great music.
Guys, I usually love your reaction videos, but I'm struggling to understand how anyone can fail to recognise George Harrison from The Beatles and Roy Orbison ('The Big O'). I'm genuinely stunned by that.
Brad and Lex, thanks so much for reacting to The Traveling Wilburys! I love them as a group, and each one as a separate artist. The first singer is George Harrison, of The Beatles. The second is Roy Orbison (he wrote and performed so many hits, including the original version of Pretty Woman). You know Bob Dylan and Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne (curly hair and sunglasses) is the lead singer and the songwriter for ELO (Electric Light Orchestra). He also wrote for and with other people (as did Roy Orbison) including producing for and writing with Tom Petty. I went to see Jeff Lynne’s band the year before the pandemic. George Harrison’s son Dhani’s band opened for them, and Dhani also came back out to join Jeff’s band for this song, Handle With Care. Great show!! Again, thanks so much for your reaction!🥰💗💕
Talk about packed full of talent ! George Harrison (ex-Beatle), Jeff Lynne (lead man from ELO), Roy Orbison (legendary singer), Bob Dylan (what can one say) and Tom Petty...... WOW !
such clever writing in this song... I love that Roy Orbison's, whose most enduring hit from the 60s is Only the Lonely, first line in this song is "I'm so tired of being lonely, I still have some love to give." Sadly, Roy would die just a short time after this album came out in 1988.
Even the most badass, toughest person is vulnerable and sensitive at times. "Handle With Care" is about being aware of those sensibilities. Check out Roy Orbison"s other work, including "Cryin'", "Pretty Woman", "Only The Lonely", "You Got It", and "I Drove All Night". He was a legend, and he passed away in late 1988, just as the Travelling Wilburys' album was about to be released.
I find it legit so cute how much y'all love Tom Petty and are instantly always cued in on him -- and George Harrison, a former member of arguably the most famous rock band in history (The Beatles), is "the other guy" 😂😂
The main singer is George Harrison who was the lead guitarist of The Beatles. The other member who only sang backup is Jeff Lynne who was the brains behind ELO. The talent in this supergroup really is off the charts.
Roy Orbison had a resurgence in the 80's with ELO's Jeff Lynne (also in the band) with Roy's awesome hit "you got it" and then with this song that when he passed suddenly in the middle of it all, many of us wore black to high school in memory. Rip to all the legends gone here and long life to those that remain.
The second guy? LOL! As others have said, this was an amazing supergroup and glad we got a couple really fine albums from them. Roy Orbison was the 2nd, amazing voice in this song. Also from them try Tweeter and the Monkey Man, another fine track. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
So many big hits on that album. Makes me a bit teary watching, as most of them have left us. R.I.P. and thank you for leaving us so much wonderful music.
Yes and 3 of those absolute legends have already passed on. Roy Orbison, you know Pretty Woman?, passed between this their first and the second song they put out, End of the Line. There is actually a tribute to Roy with the famous guitar in a rocking chair during the taping. Then George Harrison, the Beatles legend followed by Tom Petty, the one in the hat. They will never be again but live on in all their many hits and appearances on the world stage. Don’t forget Jeff Lynn also, the one with all the hair. My God and I recall the word is George Harrison the only one who could talk to Bob Dillon like this told Bob to “check his ego at the door”.
The name "Handle With Care" came from George Harrison. As the boys were starting to write lyrics for the song, Bob Dylan asked George for a title to the song. George saw the words "Handle With Care" written on a box in Bob Dylan's garage. The rest is history.
The "first guy" was Mr. George Harrison (RIP), a former Beatle fer crissakes, and the "second guy" was Mr. Roy Orbison (RIP), fer crissakes, he wrote "Pretty Woman" among many others, then Mr. Bob Dylan and Mr, Tom Petty (RIP) and lastly Mr.Jeff Lynn, from The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). The Travelling Wilburys were an All-Star band, with a brief but productive run.
The song was mostly written by George Harrison. Many of the lyrics are in reference to his life, especially when in The Beatles 'overexposed and commercialised'
This sort of redefined the meaning of "supergroup", as prior to this you'd usually have a traditional band made up with members of other bands - a singer, a bassist, a guitarist, a drummer. This was really the first time a true group was formed entirely of people who had their own successful solo careers, and possibly foreshadowing of what was to come with rap and hip-hop songs that have three or four "feat." artists on a single song.
This song created the Traveling Wilburys. Originally George intended this recording as a bonus track on a European single he worked on... The record company thought too good to be a b-side, So, George agreed and shelved it, then asked the others and arranged to get together with them again months later to record the first Wilbury's album. The song was written on the spot and the title 'Handle With Care' came from a box in the corner
The story of this band forming is so cool... Won't even try to get it all straight...It started with George going to Bob's house to record a song but he had to pick up a guitar, the guy he was with said I wanna go...When he was picking up his guitar that guy said I wanna go. when they got to Bobs, they all wanted to record with George...Song came out great & they thought they should make an album but Bob had his first tour in many years starting in 2 weeks So they recorded the album, wrote & recorded one complete song per day for 9 day & and we got the album...Fate
You guys need to do some Roy Orbison reactions if you haven't already. Pretty Woman, Crying, In Dreams, Only the Lonely, Blue Bayou, and the one he recorded right before he died, You Got It. The man has a voice like no other. Bruce Springsteen did his induction speech for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and mentioned driving in the back of a truck for hours to go see him in concert and that he wanted to sing like Roy but that nobody sings like Roy. Roy came out of Sun Studios along with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. He was one of the few American acts to weather the British Invasion, and even before that occurred, he toured with the Beatles, in the UK, back in 1963, and apparently some of the Beatles wondered how they were going to follow Roy. Lennon's early work was inspired by Roy and then decades later Harrison would join him in a super group called The Travelling Wilberys.
Plus legendary drummer, Jim Keltner. Pre-Wilburys he’d worked with Dylan, Harrison & Orbison. Also with; Barbra Streisand, BB King, Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Carley Simon, Simon & Garfunkel, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young & Many more. His credits are staggering.

The first guy was George Harrison a ex Beatle. The second guy was Roy Orbison , who by the way was a major star when the Beatles began. They opened for Orbison on his British tour before they became too big. This is mostly a friends reunion. Jeff Lyne (E.L.O.) plays and produces
The song starts off with George Harrison, former Beatles, then the 2nd guy with the glasses is Roy Orbison , mainly solo , famous for song such as Pretty Woman and I am sure you have heard of that one. 3rd then 4th guy comes in are Dylan then Petty. The other guy with the dark glasses is Jeff Lynne, of ELO. Power Group here.
The second guy is the world famous Roy Orbison. The guy that Elvis pressley said was the world's best singer. Roy and Elvis were the only 2 people in history to have 2 albums in the top 10 at the same time after they died. The title Handle me with Care they got from the wooden crate that Handle with Care was printed on.
Jeff Lynn, the guy with big hair, brard and glasses, was the producer on Harrison's, Petty's and Roy Orbison's comeback albums. I think he was instrumental in getting Roy to record again. Roy died and was honored in the videos that he didn't get to participate in. One of the greatest of any super group.
Guys, the other members of this super group were non other than George Harrison of the Beatles, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne of Electric Light Orchestra. Unbelievable collaboration right there.

And finally the bearded fellow with the big head of curly hair is Jeff Lynn lead singer of ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) and producer for many others albums.
It is hard to believe that most of them are gone now. Dylan, Harrison, Petty, Roy and even Jeff Lynne from ELO. I love them. There will never really be so much talent in one group again.

Well explained 👏
Why no love for Buster Sidebury? Session drummer Jim Keltner (who has played on countless albums for lots of artists) was invited to be an official Wilbury, but he declined and said he was a Sidebury.
RT thank you for the insight
A favorite song of mine, such beautiful lyrics. Roy Orbison's voice is like heaven.
Apparently his new name is "the second guy," LOL
First guy singing is George Harrison of the Beatles (RIP), second guy (dark hair and glasses) is Roy Orbison (also RIP), when of the greatest early rock voices, third and fouth guys are Dylan and Petty, and fifth guy (longish, frizzy hair, beard and glasses) is Jeff Lynne from ELO. All of them are rock icons. This assemblage of artists is truly a super-group of singers, songwriters, and performers. None of them can be duplicated, but often imitated and always respected.
They called the second guy, Roy Orbison, “the Voice” when he first started out. Try “Oh Pretty Woman”.✌️❤️🎶
There’ll never be an another ensemble like these guys. They were individually national treasures, collectively amazing.
The 1st guy played with a group from England called the beatles and the 2nd guy as mentioned was Mr. Orbison. The other guys are pretty good too. So glad you're discovering some of the most iconic artists in modern music.
George Harrison- Beatles
Roy Orbison- Legend (Pretty Woman-Blue Bayou-Crying)
Tom Petty- Heartbreaker
Bob Dylan- Poet laureate of the 60's
Jeff Lynne- Electric Light Orchestra
Jim Keltner- Drums
The band wanted to call Keltner a Wilbury as well, but he demurred, and preferred to be known as a Sidebury. Truly an incredible drummer.
SECOND GUY ? 😳 !!! Time to take some time out and immerse yourselves in the true utter majesty of Roy Orbison.
But who's the drummer?
@@brettkenschaft4239 Buster Sidebury
@@michaellockhart554 Wow! Thank you for the prompt response! I suppose I could have just looked it up, but thanks 😊
Well said! They were a super group of the best! They wrote all their songs in a short amount of time. That is just how good they were at what they do and together they were awesome.
@@brettkenschaft4239 in case you didn't know they all had names thay created, Roy was Lefty Wilburry, George was Nelson, Tom was Charlie T Jr, Bob was Lucky, and Jeff was Otis, Jim Kelter was gifted the name Buster, since he couldn't really be a Wilburry he became a Sidebury
Second Guy = Roy Orbison.
Can't help but sing along to this
And the First guy is George Harrison of the Beatles.
the biggest super group ever.
“First guy” George Harrison (The Beatles) . “Second guy” Roy Orbison (legend). 🙂
I was born in the early 70's and can easily identify rock artists all the way back to the 1950's
How does anyone call themselves a music fan and then not know who the f George Harrison is?
I love watching this group of stellar muscians having so much fun. Freeze framing this visual in my mind. Oh to be a fly on that wall.
the willburys are such an underrated yet powerful writing, singing, musicians ... what a collection .. we were graced by them
Now that we have lost many of these guys, I am so grateful that they got together for this collaboration. All famous in their own right. But together as friends was a true pleasure to watch and listen to these tunes
Wow once in a lifetime so much talent in one group loved the wilburys
Lex, for homework tonight you must write George Harrison’s name 100 times! 😂
You’ve reacted enough times to him and the Beatles. Keep exploring, I love watching both your reactions 💕
The first singer is a Beatle, George Harrison. The second singer is Roy Orbison.
Study these 5 guys and their respective bands and you’ve delved into some of the very best of modern music.
The second guy is Roy Orbison and the other guy is George Harrison and don’t forget Jeff Lynn lead singer of ELO
Roy has a voice like no one else. seriously incredible tone and style.
Imagine having wilt chamberlain, Bill russell, Larry bird, Michael jordan, and LeBron James all on the same team. That was this group
I didn’t know much about him until a few years ago, he is amazing.
Its a song that you can have on repeat and never get sick hearing it. It's a precious song 🎵
Times have sure changed when people dont recognize a Beatle
Lex, you forget!? Thats George Harrison, my favorite Beatle. And the uber legendary Roy Orbinson.
Roy's voice is haunting in the most beautiful way possible.
Guys, I usually love your reaction videos, but I'm struggling to understand how anyone can fail to recognise George Harrison from The Beatles and Roy Orbison ('The Big O'). I'm genuinely stunned by that.
The second guy is Roy Orbison aka "the voice". The first guy is a Beatle. The shaggy 5th guy is from ELO
This song is so cheerful, even Brad should smile!
Brad & Lex, you'll love their "Heading for the Light" !!!
WOW !
A true supergroup. Most supergroups are comprised of 2 or 3 guys from really successful bands and 1 or 2 from so-so bands.
♥ this song! Maybe the ultimate supergroup! Classic!
such clever writing in this song... I love that Roy Orbison's, whose most enduring hit from the 60s is Only the Lonely, first line in this song is "I'm so tired of being lonely, I still have some love to give." Sadly, Roy would die just a short time after this album came out in 1988.
it's a fun and catchy pop rock song. Great to hear all those iconic voices together.
The Traveling Wilburys is an absurd collection of individual talent. Each one of those guys in legendary on their own.
I find it legit so cute how much y'all love Tom Petty and are instantly always cued in on him -- and George Harrison, a former member of arguably the most famous rock band in history (The Beatles), is "the other guy" 😂😂
The super-est of all super groups!
The Music, iconic. A collection like this will never depuclated
Can’t believe these 2 don’t know Roy Orbison or George Harrison. The way she says the first 2 guys. Wow
OMG, 5 of the BIGGEST stars/talents of Rock n Roll history.
The Travelling Wilburys were an All-Star band, with a brief but productive run.
this entire Supergroup are all Legendary Masters in Music
George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom petty, Jeff Lynne.
Plus legendary drummer, Jim Keltner. Pre-Wilburys he’d worked with Dylan, Harrison & Orbison. Also with; Barbra Streisand, BB King, Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Carley Simon, Simon & Garfunkel, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young & Many more. His credits are staggering.
Roy Orbison. What a great voice. And then Bob chimes in. Awesome.
😆 Not sure if yall have been reading comments thorouly lately, because yall have reacted to this group before a few months ago. We all told you on the comments on that video "End of the Line" who the members were. Or maybe yall probably forgot. IDK.
Oh man, too few people know about this supergroup. Thrilled to see a reaction!😀
First singer is George Harrison from the Beatles. Second singer with the haunting very different voice and black hair with dark sunglasses was Roy Orbison. Then came Tom Petty and Bob Dylan.
I’m glad we still have Bob and Jeff.. RIP to, Roy, Tom, and George..
Roy Orbison!!!! Silky smooth Roy Orbison. May he RIP. He's a legend!!!!!
Roy Orbison just hits different..man was on another level vocally
The fifth guy on guitar is a guy called Jeff Lynne….he is the reason this group was formed…plus he is most talented member of the group….
The drummer, Jim Keltner aka Buster Sidebury, was one of the best session drummers in the industry and is still working at eighty years of age. If you've listened to much popular music of the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties you've heard him. He's played on mega bunches of radio hits and has worked with a who's who of artists including all of the Beatles except Paul.
Hey you guys, the first singer is George Harrison of the BEATLES, the second singer is ROY ORBISON, they made a second album, (after ROY died,) It has many great tunes as well. Check it out. You won't regret it. Anyway, back to the first album---play Tweeter and the Monkey Man---2nd last song on the album---Bob Dylan does lead vocals on this---The chorus is so catchy----and this band of great people really ROCK this number. One of the best on the album. I bet you two will really love it. Shout out to---the DRUMMER on these albums---you see him in the video his name is JIM KELTNER. Played with Harrison --post Beatles---Jeff Lynne---lead man of ELO and Bob Dylan are the only 2 still alive. But we have these albums. Love you guys...keep listening---PEACE.
THE FUCKING BOMB OF songwriters
the way it all came together was crazy....jeff lynn and george harrison were out to dinner....roy orbison was at the same LA restaurant, or something.....george had just come out with an album that jeff lynn hd produced (hes a brilliant producer), and had one song he wanted to do as a single, or something, or a poce of a somg (the song in this video)....jeff and george wanted to work on it, roy was now eating with them....they needed a studio, george knew bob dylan had one at his house, he calls bob, bob rarely, if ever, answers the phone, this time he miraculously did, next thing they knew bob's in the group......george needed one of his guitars, a very specific one he had let tom petty borrow, he goes over to tom's to get it....next thing u know, tom's in the band....and i forget the plot twist that brought the drummer into the band.....anyway, between harrison, dylan, petty, and lynn, they finish off the somg, taking the title from a moving box, cuz whoever's house they were at had just moved , the box said "handle with care".....anyway, they had such fun writjg that song as a team/group, they deceided to make an album, as heorge put it he said "why dont we just write 10, or 11 mkre and do a whole album".....and just like that, by total chance, on of tne coolest groups in all of rock history was formed
