Would love to meet you guys live for an open Q&A about working in data - feel free to sign up for my newsletter here for an invite in the next few weeks! bit.ly/3B4nZtE
After seven months, I feel data is not my passion. I should focus on what I was doing before, which is packaging design. I feel like I could force data, but I would be doing it for the money.
Hi Christine, I had found myself frustrated on the journey to pivot into a tech focused career until I found your videos. I appreciate the real world insight and lack of b.s. I can't tell you how helpful it is to have someone explain in a straightforward way what the expectations are for the person on the other side of the "apply" button. Just wanted to express my appreciation.
Thank you for the clear and concise points Christine. Data analysis is something I've been interested in, but have been unable to launch myself into after graduating a year and a half ago (I majored in mathematics and minored in computer science). It felt like everyone had similar yet different points about launching into data analysis, but I find your videos very helpful and make me feel like there's room for improvement on my resume. I hope 2025 is the year I get a chance. Thanks again Christine!
@@proprofiler Same here! This is by far the best data analytics course ive done so far, especially if you've done the beginner one first. Love that it uses python, the overall understanding of workflow (PACE), includes AI relevancy and give you a broad understanding of the role. How you like it so far?
Thanks for these informative videos, Christine definitely was the one that contributed for me getting my new BI analyst role, kudos to her. Ps. I never even joined any cohort, by watching her videos.
Hey Christine your videos have been great guidance than rest of the videos on the topic. I would love to know some tips on applying in internships. Like How to make my CV and cover letter. Any videos or comment would be helpful.
Thanks for the insights. What if your current job has little to no opportunity to work with data. How do we work around that to gain data experience on the job?
Thanks for the advice and appreciate. the website you mentioned at last one is not a really good to look for volunteer. i checked. anyhow i like your part of getting messy with data. On another hand, the size of dataset is really dont matter as long as we know what are doing and what we are writing.
Hi, I am currently working on a dashboard project. Though I am fairly comfortable with Tableau features, I have no idea about how to arrange different components in a dashboard. Hope you can release video about dashboard design, many thanks 😊😊
what are your thoughts on unpaid data analytics experience? Obviously having a lot of metrics in a 3 months internship will be hard but I’m assuming it’s better than personal projects. Thank you for your advice!
"Thank you for these amazing videos! Your perspective on entering the field of data analytics is refreshing compared to the repetitive advice from many others online. I'm currently enrolled in the Google Data Analytics course on Coursera, but I’ve been wondering if it’s worth my time or if I should focus on individual technical courses instead. What are your thoughts?"

The amount of impact you pack into a short video is amazing Christine, more than others do in longer vids :)
Thank you!
Agreed 👍🏾💯❤

@@christinejiangdata You're welcome, have great week :)

whoo that's awesome!
Is it a paid one?
@ it’s not, but it’s a rewarding experience and a step up from personal projects
Do you need experience or any projects to volunteer with them. I have basic technial skills. Like excel and sql @@thewinterwithout

focus more on soft skill side of things - working with diff stakeholders, contributing in meetings, times when you've presented to an audience

I'm not trying to become a data analyst but can I watch this anyways??
Most of the jobs are ghost jobs and they aren't actually hiring as you see them reposting that job again and again every week
6K for a course? No thanks
What’s 6k for a course ?
@ thats the price for the analytics course
What's wrong with 6K. This female offers a LOT of value. ❤❤❤
none of the resources mentioned are 6k :)
