As a retired company owner, I did very little of “the work” myself. However, without me, the creative designs and quality control would have never happened. Nice work Chip!!
Its nice too see the cars an owners after so long for so many reason. An get hear their opinions on them plus urs. Definitely has aged well. ❤ today is my b-day.
Chip you and I talked a few years ago at the Detroit auto show and I was so impressed that you were the same in person talking to a regular gear head the same way you are on tv. I never expected that, most people are full of themselves but you’re a regular guy. I’m an old fart now, I was born in 56. I’ve been a lifelong hot rodder, right now I have a blown, tubbed and caged 74 vette that I have been working on for over 10 years. I sure wish I could afford to have you finish it, I’m done with the engine and drivetrain but I have no imagination to do the interior. Oh well maybe someday yet! Take care buddy!
Aww! What a fantastic story! I love that a good life-long friendship blossomed out of his shop doing Scott's car. Love the old Cadillacs. They have a special place in my heart. My grandparents had quite a few Caddies while i was growing up. I always thought they were so classy. Cadillacs have lost their prestige now..but they were once the King of the road. If someone offered me a brand new Cadillac or a classic I would definitely take the classic any day over a new one.
I bought a drill press off the guy with the monte carlo you guys did, maybe 10+ years ago. From the Denver area. I don't think he ever plans on getting rid of it which makes me feel good
I’ve got a 94 Ram that was my first car back in 96 that I’ve been holding on to. My dream is to have chip restore it one day. I sure hope I’m able to do it.
I always Love It Your Show and the way you make a car into an artistic value is truly extraordinary. If only I could have a muscle car and give it to my son.
I love old Caddies. We had a great condition PNW 1961 Coupe Deville runner/driver in white years ago. My next favorite were the 63-4s. Absolutely iconic build still, great job.
Hi Chip, This probably sounds adolescent - I live in Venice. There's a few cool cars here. 66-67 GTO is my favorite. There's a clerk at a supermarket across from me. He has a 2004 GTO with some nice mods. It sounds great. I fantasized an 04 GTO customized to mimic a 67. Would that be a project worth doing?
@@tucksmith8300 Bullshit-I live in Washington state . I have a collector plate -they only issue you one. You can display your last plate, (which I have on) or a club plate, or a novelty plate, or nothing! 5/6/24.
Depends on the state. Collector cars are often treated differently than daily drivers. Most states allow you to register a license plate from the year the car was made, to add to the charm.
Chip talks like he paid for these cars out of his own pocket and did most of the work himself. The show did these and Chip got paid. My grandfather gave me a 68 Corvette when I graduated (it wasn't new at the time) and he took less credit than Chip does for the cars on Overhaulin'.
@@dmh1367 It's not bias, it's very obvious and if you don't think so then YOU are biased. I worked on the production crew, his ego is the single reason that show ended.
Foose doesn't need to do anything if it's his show and his name's on it with his design, and that's all it needs. Dave kindig doesn't do nothing ever just stands around and barks orders and Drew's pictures like Foose.
The worst show ever aired. The original pimp my ride was 100 percent better. Cars were done up for the average person versus this one geared to selected individuals.
I’ve wondered how well a car that’s been built in a couple weeks - including tear down - would hold up. Even one that’s been babied. Well, if Chip Foose & crew built it, it holds up great! If another shop built it - maybe not so good. Ask me how I know…🫤
I miss this show so much!
You can thank Chip for being too much of a diva for not having the show anymore.
Nice to see the Caddy again and see that it's well cared for and driven. Beautiful automobiles shouldn't be garage queens!
great to see after ten years he's still loving the car and it's looks like it's in amazing shape.
As a retired company owner, I did very little of “the work” myself. However, without me, the creative designs and quality control would have never happened. Nice work Chip!!
Got a left brake light out Homie ~ easy fix, don't want to get pulled !

Awesome build
🏆🏆🏆FOOSE KING OF CARS DESIGN💪💪👑
what a gentleman is Chip Foose. Good on ya mate from your fans down under in Australia x
It's nice to see such a beautiful build being USED as a vehicle, and Not a show piece in a garage.
Nice to look back. Thanks for sharing this beautiful Caddy.
Beautiful Caddy, hope somebody on the camera crew told him his brake light was out.
Wow !! Thats one straight Caddy. Nice ride.😄
Great lifetime deal! Going to SEMA with Chip Foose every year.
Hey man, you have a burnt out tail light\brake light on the driver side ... car still looks good 👍
Also at 4:27 the center hub cap is missing.Steal one from the rear .They are hardly visible back there with those skirts on.
Lovely! Good to see this beauty is in great condition.. Would love to see this content Chip. 👌
Car is holding up nice, good job Chip.
Beautiful Caddy, you may want to check the left rear brake light....
Great car and great guy. Great to see the 63 Eldo again. My Overhauled Camaro is the same color and I still have it as well. All the best.
I loved this car then....still love it now. Glad to see it again.
Awesome video catching up with overhauling builts. CADILLAC STILL LOOKS GREAT 👍 MY FAVORITE OVERHAULING BUILT IS CHIPS TRUCK .❤❤❤

The way the paint lays on the body is unbelievable. It's great to see it's not in the garage just as a prop.

Grandpop's car is probably still rolling around in Mexico.
Incredible content. Thanks Chip!!!
That car is fantastic.
That looks incredible, great work Chip and team.
Saw that car at NHRA Pomona 10 years ago. Thing looked absolutely perfect close up.

Live in Australia and Watch a lot of car modification shows from the USA, question, front number plates not required in US states?
It’s required in all 50 states in the USA

It varies by state and even in some of the states where it is required there are exceptions for specialty cars.
Hi Chipp, are you designing any cool wheels for the Cybertruck?
❤
be amazing to have my foxbody Overhauled. Did they ever do one?
Left brake light is not working and it’s missing a center cap on one of the wheels
If i had chip build me a car ot a truck! Im more of a truck guy! I would take care of it like it was gold to me
Left rear brake light is out, yikes!
I love the song that's playing at the 7:18 mark. Would anyone happen to know the name or artist?
So cool!
How does he get away driving in Cali without a front license plate? - CHP / LAPD and the rest of blue gang love to pull you for anything.
that car still runs rolls roys had a good old school cars so was mercedes or bmw chrysler cars ford was one of tbe oldes onces new york times 1930s
👍👍👍👍❤
Hi Chip Foose. Astronomical talent as usual, I have a 65 Impala in Nairobi, Kenya. Any parts laying around that can assist in this build?
Got a driver's side brake light out
Only one brake light working
Brake light out on the driver side.

How much ?
Your left tail light is out . 😊😊
Breaking news ! Almost everything on tv and the net is fake. Think about it …
