- As you guys can see, I am back with another big chop video. While I was growing out my cut, I decided to get a silk press which was the WORST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE!! We'll have to talk more, in depth, later about what happened to my healthy curls that made me want to start over but for now enjoy this video.

Let me tell you, do your research before you let someone near your hair. I had been growing out my hair for a little over a year and I went to a barber in order to get a tapered cut. He didn't touch the top or back or my hair. He cut off all of my sides and then lifted my hair in the back and cut my hairline at the nape of my hair. I him the style I wanted (even though I still have some growing to do before I'm completely where I need to be) and I SPECIFICALLY told him I did not want my hairline defined. He shaved all of my hair off when he should have actually scissored my sides and then cleaned up the line-up. I was so damned mad, but I am thankful that he DIDN'T touch the rest of my hair (I didn't press the issue, as he seemed confused as to why I was asking him to SHAPE the rest of my hair). It's been three weeks now and thankfully my sides and nape have started to grow back.

I wouldn't call that a big chop but it did turn out pretty. She has a nice grade of hair to begin with.
I actually like her hair the way it was, but I do understand wanting a sharper look. She rocks both styles well.
EVERYONE has a "nice grade" of hair! Sounds like some slave mentality bullshit... smh. What kind of hair is a bad or low grade of hair in your opinion? Do tell....
