Dang!! Why couldn't you have your shop in SC? I was so desperate to get a tapered haircut that I went to a barber and he cut my hair like a dude. Now I'm almost bald headed. Thank goodness for wigs.
They can put their terminology to this type of cutting but it's not new. Any experienced and master stylist that specializes in natural curly hair cuts hair similar. And in the end creating some type shape is part of it. Also, have a consultion and tailoring the cut to the client is part of the process. So Mazani just put their name on something that has been done for decades. The is some stylist are just masters at it and some suck.
I think that's something I didn't consider . I looked at a picture and expected my cut to look exactly like the woman in the picture. Not considering different aspects.
I love that she cut the hair in its natural state. This gave me the confidence to do my own cut today.
