If you ever want more hold bit still want that soft touch i would recommend aunt jackie's flax seed gel for you. My hair was so soft but still had some hold. You get more definition with shingling with it.
Do it, girlie!! This is my second time with a twa. The first time mine had no shape either. Might I suggest going to a barber. It made all the difference for me. I'm obsessed! Thanks for watching. 😃❤
@@Lauren_Whitney Omg tysm for the heart, new subbie! I also saw your other video of you doing you & your daughters hair and It was so cute! Your daughter's so cute, hope all is well during this time!
I am new to the natural world (2 weeks to be exact). I have a very low boy cut, 1 inch of hair. I feel free, but need help in finding the right products for my hair. Your tapered cut is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your hair techniques. I am a subscriber now!
Hi I’m new here. I never knew to have my hair soaked while applying the styler. Thank you so much and I’m going to try that. Beautiful hair by the way ❤.
Thank you for watching, Alisha. I'm glad you got a helpful tip. I hope your results turned out how you wanted. Styler on soaking wet hair works everytime, for me. ❤️
I’m always on the lookout for new products and I love trying new routines. This was a great video for me to pick up a few new tips. I had to add gel to get definition though. I already knew that I would lol. My curls are more 4b/c.
I'm so glad this video was helpful, Tamisha!! I'm going to try a little gel next time to see if will help my style last longer. Thank you for watching! 🤗♥️
I personally think so. Girl, they came for me in previous vids for advertising type 4 hair, but I really think I am. I'm not as tightly coiled as 4c, but not as loose as type 3. I'm in between.
@@Lauren_Whitney 3c/4a maybe? type 4s in my experience can't do wash and gos with just leave in conditioner and moisturizer lol, even if you're looking for a "softer" look or light hold. Need a curl cream or even mousse at least.
@@Lauren_Whitney I was thinking the same thing (3c)... I'm mostly 4b/c... but 4a (maybe 3c) in the nape. Your hair looks like 3c even before the water, but especially seeing how it responded after being wet and achieving the end result with only the products used and no gel. Great video, very helpful, detailed, and super cute results!
I just went back to a tapered cut, so I'm experimenting with wash n go's again. Your hair looks lovely!
Yes, girlfriend!! Live all of your short natural hair dreams! Thank you so much! 🤗❣

Oo thanks!!! I will definitely try that. Hopefully it will prevent me from having to wet my hair everyday.
@@Lauren_Whitney yeah, it hqs just enough hold imo that it can last maybe 3days before you have to rewet

Love the cut!! Having a long, narrow face; this is perfect for me💜💜💜
Thank you! Yes, long narrow face is, for sure, in my car facts. 😄
And I loved this cut so much. Feminine with a little edge.
@@Lauren_Whitney Yup!!💜💜💜
Thinking about cuting my hair again after watching this video
Do it, girlfriend!!! It will always grow back! Thank you for watching! 🤗
This is a method I have never seen before! I love this

Headed to get me a cut like this. My twa has no shape at all. Thanks for sharing...

Thank you, girlfriend!! Yes, very easy. I will probably be keeping it short for a while. Glad you liked it! 😘

This makes me want a tapered cut 😍
That was me girl! I saw all these bomb tapered cuts and I was like "you know what....✂️" 😂
Yesss honey! New subbie here! I have to get my hands on the design essentials products! I have a tapered cut as well!
Thank you, girlfriend!! I appreciate you!! 🙏🏾❤ Yes ma'am! They smell delicious and work amazing!
Lovely
Thank you, Cher!!! 💕
I love it, very pretty...
Thank you, Danielle!!! 🥰
Beautiful
Thank you!! ❤
You have type 3 hair. Either way, great video.
Thank you!! ❤
Do you shampoo your hair every time?
No, not everytime. I alternate weekly. I shampoo 1 week, and co-wash the next.
@@Lauren_Whitney thank you so much!!
Who is your barber?!!!! And what state are you in? :0
I got my cut @dreamcutsbaberlounge on Instagram. 😉
are you 4a?

I think you have type 3C
Really?? I'm not really sure how to gage it. I think I'm a 4a, judging my texture with no product added.
