Samuro critical strike build plus a fully Abby hat build literally can out-DPS a fully stacked butcher head to head and it’s not even close. The key is keeping both clones up to get the extra 90% critical strike damage, and the constant slows from Abby spines making every single Sammy auto attack into a critical strike for the duration of a fight. This Korean did his write-up on a korean Hots site last year. He uses 3 different combos based on what opponent's HP. BTW: this korean guy was still in high school when he made the montages including the his last one.
Efficient one is the one where you tp in with E, so you cant use it to take a step away after jumpin on your W. To have the tp back you have to use blade as your R, but this sets you up to "waste" the cooldown reduction on your W. Enemy would have had enough time to react to you after your dance routine E-W-Q-R-Q, and if any are left alive after that then you would be just killing yourself, if you chased them with your refreshed W. I would probably call it lewd combo, because it basically is quite lewd, you wait for whole game in your corner to get in and boom... And so the efficient one in my eyes is the one where you get to abuse all the dmg and power you have, but then again your next level zeratul gets to do his moves, if you find your way with strategy...
So the "flashy" one is where you go like (->W(w)-Q) ->E (Vorpal Blade) ->R(e) (->W(w)-Q) ->E When its like so it gets "easy" to mess up their focus, and so peel off back line from front. First poke or WQE would shock the carries, and if everything goes easy their bruisers and tanks would continue towards team fight, while their carries would fall back. Basically this gives you little time to plan for 2nd entrance. Depends on what is going on. So 2nd entrance and the end of the flashy combo would be started with vorpal blade, and then all you have left is to use your R to dodge or use it to get into position for your 2nd Singularity Spike, and this lets you use your Q 2nd time. Now all that is left is to use your E. (->W(lv7)-Q-R): This is the combo before level 20, but you need seeker in dark(lvl 7) to even have zeratul be able to jump with his W. In a team fight you use the E to escape, unless you are there to just shut down last few ones by the cover of your t.mates, or maybe some who is alone and weak enough to be worth to commit on. Also I closed the damage portions in the combo into brackets, and so you see the efficient one ditches one W in favor to have one R as a blade and extra Q to be used in bulk. The lewd one would be like this: ->E (->W(w)-Q-R-Q) ->E and what I would call efficient is this: (->W(w)-Q) ->E (Vorpal Blade) ->R(e) (->W(w)-Q) ->E I use -> as a pointer when you aim with your mouse.
no, he stretches it out so he can do even more single target damage. as paradox said, the simple combo does 3,000 damage, his version, when fully done properly deals 6,000+ damage, which blows up even a bruiser (as we saw, even arthas had only 6.7k hp at level 20). Why? Because by waiting a second between abilities and teleporting around, he's able to sneak in an auto attack between every ability. Zeratul has an attack speed of just less than a second, so he was to wait a second between every auto attack to pull off the next one. Obviously at his level of play (masters+), he can't just wait by his target and expect the enemy team to not jump on him, so he teleports around to confuse the opponent while waiting for his auto attacks to reset. This stacks with psionic energy, making his last Q and auto deal 1700 damage alone as we saw; in essence, him waiting for his auto attack to reset gives him a bonus 3,000 damage while also confusing the hell out of the enemy.
yes it does, you just can't oneshot 1v2 and 1v3 anymore. In lower ranks this guy will still absolutely decimate the backline in every game, guaranteed, and carry his game to at least a 90% winrate.
So why is Greater Cleave at level 1? Because you enter with Seeker or Nerazim Blink, Normal Blink is only used for escape or distract. you don't really take cooldown advantage from Shadow Hunter (E). mana reduce option is insignificant, and also it's tiresome to gather regen balls. Move Unseen might be good, But I habitually click on Z...lol (Edit : twilight wrote this before buff. I think Move Unseen+Shroud of Adun synerge is better in some map n situation now - he uses Move Unseen at dragon 5v5) Greater Cleave helps fast minion clearing, makes high stacks of Psionic Strength (Level 4) at one click, have combat advantage on other melee class. That's the answer. EDIT : he might be conscripted, I guess, like any other korean male.
this has been around since zera reword but extremelly few zeratuls used it since everyone preffered the "omg cleave heal repeat" built (which was much safer but not so flashy or satisfying). Keep in mind fellas, this built has been actually nerfed a bit (extra dmg during singularity from 60% to 40% i think?). it still works vs squishies but it's not the same as before. Before nerf you could solo 3 people if you know how to do these stuff. Also against tanks dont do singularity->cleave->MoN->cleave. Do a singularity->cleave->MoN->singularity->cleave. You can also weave some blinks/VB inbetween for extra dmg. If you go for 3 cleaves through MoN , you'll be burstier but after you've used your combo you're basically hanging like a towel in a huriccane. Also something else, none can really escape you if u do blink->mon(blink)->blink->singularity. That shits covers nearly half the map and it's an insane escape or a finisher from a runner. Just be careful, it's an either do or die comp/hero. You cant play it safe with it as paradox says, you have to either commit to it or never get the results you see. If you want a safe built, take the wormhole/cleave built
Lot of zera's doing this tonight. My favorite thing has been anticipating them and landing point-and-click damage reduction. I love the "wait, they didnt die" reactions I've been getting
Nice execution of that combo, you waste too much blinks imo and i prefer Move Unseen - lvl 1 / Psionic Strenght - lvl 4 / Sentenced to death - lvl 16. But it's a good video to train and learn the best way to execute it, when you can do it perfectly you can also adapt it front of the situation, good work ;-) My zeratul is lvl 188, this combo and all its variants are a routine exercise to continue to master it.
dude, u didn't get the best part, he killed the hanzo in between keep and towers, but he didn't get shot, he blinks only when the bullet is about to hit.
the only thing you are missing is one set of basic abilities. You still have 3 abilities + one more with ult + vorpal. That's plenty of buttons to press to be fancy.
No, the announcement back then was that the competitive tournament scene was no longer primarily supported by Blizzard. Essentially, no longer e-Sports supported by the company.
Yeah i think you should have used some images to show the combo. You know. The typical E-> W-> W-> Q-> Auto-> R-> Auto-> Q-> Escape thing. Because you still cant really see it as in expereienced player in this speed. Editing would been also a way. Just pause step by step. Maybe take some inspiration from this League of Legends Teaching channel.
He used locked camera. A pro zera doesn.t do that. U go vorpal, u press space key right away, that.s the key. As zera u need free camera, besides I haven't seen a single spike in fog of war. I have a lot of nice kills and didn't edit any of em. May be will do.
@gardakan936 i'm better than him. I played this flashy teleport build since zera was reworked, back when wormwhole&cleave were popular. I just didn't edit any of my vids.. I have some on my channel
@gardakan936 but there's one interesting thing, first hanzo kill, when he went back with vorpal, jumps out with R (a risky thing) for throwing another spike on hanzo that reached the wall, if hanzo jumped in that moment, not only that he could have missed the spike, but the kill as well. A solo hanzo at lvl 20 u can easily kill in less than 2 secs with QWWQW. what i'm saying is not necessary to teleport around him 7 times and lose early the vorpal, when u know he could have jumped the wall
@@arclite1entity Agree, sometimes you need to cut the entire combo to save some tools for escape like VB. One spike / 2 cleave / one other spike were enough here for that hanzo, better : i think 1 spike, 1 AA and maybe the 2 cleave were enough... you could saved enough to leave a danger or focus another low target then (1 spike, the VB and your blink)
"Breaking down" Still got lost and still had no idea how he did this. Also the dmg this guy does is bullshit. I can be 2 levels a head and still doesn't do this much dmg. Zeratul is a fun hero. But I always felt like his dmg was unimpressive. And a easy countered hero.
Please can you say in every video following? Do not try this straight in Storms league. Learn how to play in QM or training before you decide to ruin the game for others. Thanks
It's not really ruled anywhere that you need a certain level of skill to play ranked. People are free to play as they want, as long as their intent is to win. If they are considerably bad, they will just rank lower. This shouldn't affect YOU as much as your enemy, since your team can only have 4 people that do it vs. the enemy teams 5. It's overall a statistical improvement for your winrate.

(->W(w)-Q) ->E (Vorpal Blade) ->R(e) (->W(w)-Q) ->E
I use -> as a pointer when you aim with your mouse.
If you do it slow, u do +2-3 additional AAs and it's 600-900 dmg twice, so there is not 5K but about 3.5K +/- 500
the other thing is , he did it so complicated just to stretch time so he always has a E on hand.
no, he stretches it out so he can do even more single target damage. as paradox said, the simple combo does 3,000 damage, his version, when fully done properly deals 6,000+ damage, which blows up even a bruiser (as we saw, even arthas had only 6.7k hp at level 20).
Cant play hots for a long time, so its interesting to go through some of strategies and mechanics here.
Another note is that your Might of the Nerazim does an untalented version of the ability, so the lvl 16 Q talent wont affect the reset one.
Great breakdowns
This doesn't work (consistently enough) in lower ranks. You are usually way behind by the time Zeratul hits his lvl20. GG
Very true.
yes it does, you just can't oneshot 1v2 and 1v3 anymore.
I think Move Unseen+Shroud of Adun synerge is better in some map n situation now - he uses Move Unseen at dragon 5v5)
Greater Cleave helps fast minion clearing, makes high stacks of Psionic Strength (Level 4) at one click, have combat advantage on other melee class. That's the answer.
EDIT : he might be conscripted, I guess, like any other korean male.
Zeratul is like zed in lol, if u are skillfull with them, it's a nightmare to deal with.
08:00 thank you
Can u make a video about the lost Vikings?
I wanted to ask a question. Is move unseen a bad trait? I use it for my build when I play Zeratul. Thanks for the helpful combos though!
Love these videos thanks :D I was wondering what this guy does in the game before lvl 20? Soaking lanes and ganking when possible?
I tried this like a couple of dozen times and my win rate is around 10% now.
this has been around since zera reword but extremelly few zeratuls used it since everyone preffered the "omg cleave heal repeat" built (which was much safer but not so flashy or satisfying).
I love the "wait, they didnt die" reactions I've been getting
woah i just watched this video yesterday!
Wait wait wait.. at 11:45 you can't R twice...
Nice execution of that combo, you waste too much blinks imo and i prefer Move Unseen - lvl 1 / Psionic Strenght - lvl 4 / Sentenced to death - lvl 16.
But it's a good video to train and learn the best way to execute it, when you can do it perfectly you can also adapt it front of the situation, good work ;-)
My zeratul is lvl 188, this combo and all its variants are a routine exercise to continue to master it.
dude, u didn't get the best part, he killed the hanzo in between keep and towers, but he didn't get shot, he blinks only when the bullet is about to hit.
Is this training map available to everyone?
is Void Prison Zeratul still strong?
okay so thats the combo at lvl 20 ,,, what do u do between lvl 1 and 19 ?
Soak. Zeratul is a soak slave until 16. One of the heroes that purely rely on getting to the late game, else there is a lot of better options
look for ganks and stay alive till late game.
the only thing you are missing is one set of basic abilities. You still have 3 abilities + one more with ult + vorpal. That's plenty of buttons to press to be fancy.
so much things : soak, camps (easy), ganks with team, finish and back... that's a good start
i just did my lane as falstad and got deleted from a zeratul ._.
Man I have a lvl 37 Zeratul but this guy makes me feel, like I have no clue on how to play him :D
wow. valeera's single target q with lvl7 and lvl16 talents does almost as much dmg as zera's untalented q which is aoe. no wonder she's niche
NotParadox - stop making me feed with Zeratul! :'(
Just explaining that Teletul combo sounds like a Piano lesson...WWQAE1ARWWAQE... Did I miss anything...?
Could you plz lower the Games Speed to show it slow, not only saying "in a slower version". ;)
so is the counter to not let the enemy team get to 20? Better yet, win before 16?
the counter is stay near your cc hero. and dont stay alone.
I would love to play against this zera just to watch him tear our team to pieces
Wait HOTS still alive? Isit no development anymore
No, the announcement back then was that the competitive tournament scene was no longer primarily supported by Blizzard. Essentially, no longer e-Sports supported by the company.
Who else looked up “Best of Rich | Mechanical Legend” cause it appeared next on his VOD?
Это всё здорово, вот только как убивать до 20 уровня?
NotParadox . i think the W on his video its pre nerf it was 30% now only 25% ... but still you kill hanzo with that
I am so confused...
best Zeratul player ever. Even better than Rich
I watched this video now I can’t stop double cleaving, send help
I used to double cleave like you, then I got an arrow in the knee.
Yeah i think you should have used some images to show the combo.
You know. The typical E-> W-> W-> Q-> Auto-> R-> Auto-> Q-> Escape thing.
Because you still cant really see it as in expereienced player in this speed. Editing would been also a way. Just pause step by step.
Maybe take some inspiration from this League of Legends Teaching channel.
this bd is now not that flashy as shown in the video, cuz now the lv7 talent wormhole activates 2s after u e(used to be instant usable)
Wormhole is not even used here. At level 7 he picks the seeker to teleport with W instead.
@@EugenethePhilostopher yeah u r right, too falshy that my eye got fooled
How to climb to Masters by watching Twilight's Zeratul.
well quantum mechanics are actualy easier to learn
singularity strike hahahahah
Cool... so, do I smell a nerf or?
what you just saw.. its pre nerf..
En taro zeratul
He used locked camera. A pro zera doesn.t do that. U go vorpal, u press space key right away, that.s the key. As zera u need free camera, besides I haven't seen a single spike in fog of war. I have a lot of nice kills and didn't edit any of em. May be will do.
@gardakan936 i'm better than him. I played this flashy teleport build since zera was reworked, back when wormwhole&cleave were popular. I just didn't edit any of my vids.. I have some on my channel
@gardakan936 well, I might be wrong, who am I to judge. Cheers!
한국인 ㅠㅠ
Looks like a huge waste of teleports
Too hard for my old age apm ...
show me the build to impress my girl bro

HOTS players are wild! Raging and inting in all my games. Y'all need to chill.
turn off autoplay, para
150+150+150+150= 1 paradox thousand LOL you about 40% short ;)
Damn soo early :D.
"Breaking down"
Still got lost and still had no idea how he did this.
Thanks
Polish are not welcome in hots
It's not really ruled anywhere that you need a certain level of skill to play ranked. People are free to play as they want, as long as their intent is to win. If they are considerably bad, they will just rank lower. This shouldn't affect YOU as much as your enemy, since your team can only have 4 people that do it vs. the enemy teams 5. It's overall a statistical improvement for your winrate.
good idea
