Wow, what an incredible timing! I've recently been in an exact situation, where another person has been stuck in their repetitive cycle and I was holding myself back in order not to lose the connection...And I have finally realized that I need to go my way, do my things, listen to my intuition and take care of myself. The limbo state had become unbearable so I pulled myself back together and asked myself what do I really want. The answer was loud and clear, it was impossible to ignore it any longer!
Well I think a lot of what you described is true n all...but sometimes it's easier said than done.
Yes I've found, that it doesn't matter how much you love someone, if they aren't sure about you, it'll be a certain torture for you stick around and wait. I've hd a couple relationships like this before. One time they wanted to break up, but then came back around, but still didn't want to be fully back together. I ached and schemed and cried for them to just pick me. Eventually I realized it was over and that I had taken their indecision as hope as opposed to understanding the indecision was the choice away from me.
I'm with you. I've gone back & forth for a long time. Got good at detaching and questioning how much to give to the situation. Recently found a treasure trove of information about how to more easily let go for good, including forward-focused concrete practices to change my neural networks/brain chemistry. That, I believe is the ultimate key. What pulls you back is the bonding hormones. They are out of place in a situation where the other person has no interest in working as a team. Had this EXACT scenario happen, when I told my partner I was moving out their response was “why does it feel like you’re breaking up with me even though you’re just moving out.” Then they proceeded to break up with me because they felt so hurt by my choice to move out. Some ppl want u to stay in limbo with them and feel betrayed if you don’t. CHOOSE CLARITY ❤
Yes - they want us to be the “bad guy” leaving physically when they left emotionally long time ago etc.

well, realistically, shes talking on a topic that is very common & the ones in these situations,many will search for someone or a title that addresses these issues. In other words, theres probably 5k other people who also think shes speaking to them lol they put it out & we come running, because its something we think we need.
Same! It's like there is a "theme" in the air that she taps into, things that people are going through right now. And it's been many times that she uploads precisely what I need as I'm in that particular situation in that precise moment.
When you are married, you are essentially in limbo together sometimes. To continue to move forward yourself with an attitude of forgiveness and patience toward the other person is hard work, but worth it.
Courageous acts on faith with no idea how it will work but clear where one is headed is the only thing that creates opportunity.
I believe this describes secure attachment styles and how it effects your attachment style if someone that you are with is not secure. Being able to be swayed by someone else close to you is proof of how secure you are. If someone starts singing a song around you and you start to sing the same song because they are shows how influential you are. The world today believes that you both should have the same song in mind before the music begins but in reality not everyone likes the same music and in that way we would have to be able to agree to disagree about our taste in that music style and yet still be secure with our boundaries before the music starts and try to make the music somehow work together and not against each other’s music. Mindfulness and forgiveness is the key or else we can spend our whole lives going through partner after partner trying to find someone who is a perfect fit for us. Sometimes we have to compromise which is the work that many are not willing to sacrifice.

I'm in a relationship of 7 years currently with someone whose song is different than mine in a lot of ways. But in the end we both have similar goals in life and your entire comment here was 100% spot on to me. 😊 Compromise, communication, humility and humor are very important things in my relationship to make it last as long as it has thus far.
If we have a strong foundation and strong enough constitution we can become secure because it takes security to overcome this and have our own mind and not adopt or take on the wishes and will of others.
Going through this exact scenario right now, slightly more complicated because we have children together and my solid support system is 1000 miles away.

As much as I love teal, and her material, I’d never want a world where all listen or embrace one truth type of thing. We need sides. We need polarity. At least in this life/world. We don’t need the shadows and toxicity that come along with fighting for our side so to speak, but a difference of mind and opinion is so beautiful and needed I think.

And yes, she is right about a lot of things, but I've also known her say things which clearly are ridiculous... such as a video she did quite some time ago now, about 'demons' that suck your energy.
Or one more recently about plants, and how we should not have these in our houses... then I saw how she had cut flowers at one of her talks?
Or the fact she charges $20 000" plus... per 'week' for her retreats?
Yet, she never says or concedes that any of things she says are a mistake?
Or, that the retreats seem a 'hypocrisy' to me when she charges so much...?
"Exclusivity..." surely spirituality should include 'all?'

I never lost track of my genuine self...both eks were into addictions. Don't like mediocrity neither comatose. I was in ICU once and when I came back from my hospitalisation I promised myself that I wanted to live as much as possible truthfully to myself from now on. Volk with addiction ( s ) get gaslighted themselves by the entities.
Teal is extremely intelligent and has great insight. There is a famous guru that said, "Don't put anyone or even me on a pedestal. See me and analyse me for who I AM." Which means, be objective, learn how to discern, take the things that are good & in alignment to THE Truth and recognise but don't attach to the particles of dust in any human being's personality that don't align with truth. Except the divine light(Say God), nothing is perfect. Naturally, not everyone is perfect all the time either. Revere yourself. Nothing or nobody to be revered blindly. I take a LOT of inputs from Teal. And I am sure she works hard. Remember, always remember that the divine spark is within each, and spirituality can be experienced first hand in a sustainable way only when Integrated with material life. Peace.

Haha definitely a hard lesson to learn. If I go into a marriage let alone relationship, I'll know it serves a purpose rather then the norm or tradition. I like connection, but there's a world to see, and possibly the universe.

With the possibility of break up in mind, it's all too much to take the risk. I'm loyal with things, it's unwise for me to settle for less let alone risk something close to me.

it's very hard in relationships where one person has total control of the finances and the proverbial scales are imbalanced. I mean unbalanced to the point where there is nothing on the other side. When one partner is dishonest over and over, it changes the other persons reality. It alters their personality, their self worth, and even robs them of hope waiting on the day you are speaking of. When one person in the relationship has ALL of the control, nothing ever good comes of it. It's very hard to walk away from any type of relationship where children are involved and lots of time is invested in the relationship. Liminal spaces can be uncomfortable and sometimes staying positive becomes increasingly difficult. Not being totally honest with the other party screams narcissim to me. I am no psychologist, but I know the feeling of someone trying to drown you. Good thing I can swim. Thank you for this video Teal. It's speaking volumes right now.

This is my story word for word. It lasted 7 years. Ended it last year and as you might have guessed he didn't try hard to get me back or try to work it out with a therapist. As painful as it was, I'm glad it ended. I took my power back!

Had to break ties with my daughter who lives with a Narc and both have either consciously or unconsciously, always creating drama and stress in my life. I’ve come to the realization that I need to let my daughter go, because she too cannot make a decision, be clear, etc. She always calls me when a crisis occurs, never does the suggestions I give, and ignores me all the other days, I’m tired of being in limbo for the last year and I am moving on. We don’t get to see each other very often because of distance but I know one day when she’s older, she will understand the truth.

I have decided to wed myself to a spiritual companion or specific person, I have begun filling this person up with fabrics from interactions with various females, knowing that the one that I end up with will be a perfect match from the interassociations from all the other females that are exposing and identifying what I am to a girl and what she is to me in return and that we are well on the way and it seems to be working well, there is no more waiting for long periods of time to get healthy first, to save up money, to wait until it is warmer out, no, we are now at the doorstep to our plans being fulfilled and we have everything to have this door opened fully for whoever. The only real thing I can think of for myself at this point is putting more money into my personal well-being. There have come to be so many miracles, almost every Tarot reading is right in line with what I am doing and things are looking very good. I have a good amount of trust or faith in that the whole universal masculine and feminine are drawing closer than ever to each other and that brighter horizons and greater mental stability are at our door step. Thanks for being able to talk about some of the deeper and more exposing topics. It is really hard to address some of them because you are bi-polar opposite, which makes sense with your blue eyes and dark brown hair. I can feel how much you need that ultimate fulfillment and you motivate me to take things that much more seriously, thanks.
I have watched Teal for years and the video here is one I have just really, really resonated with in a big way. It's the first video I have watched of hers in 2 years and it randomly popped up. I was going through years of this in my relationship prior to all the mess I am in now, lol. It's a sad thing
Super apparent in dynamics where the woman wants a deeper level of commitment, say marriage and kids, but the guy feels like he's not ready. In this scenario, it's reasonable for the woman to ask for a timeline by which he will make a decision.
If he can't give a reasonable timeline, set one yourself, so you can have enough time to strengthen your current relationship and, if necessary, still be able to jump into a different relationship with more clarity and better skills if the current man realizes he actually doesn't want marriage with you.

While paused for a day, I was afraid of hearing “the answer is You gotta leave stuck partner and live your own life”…
Also while paused, I did made a statement to my men that I will no longer do this and this. Went upfront with communication instead of being inertial (as I do sometimes).
Then I finished listening to this video, and I am kinda relived with Teal’s advices. Maybe it will be hard, but it is not a cut off.

Not making a decision - is making a decision. That’s something I learned the hard way. When they’re not clear, help them get clear - by walking away and watch them let you. It’s very telling…
Teal, will you please speak to those of us who are stuck because we entered into agreements with others that they didn’t honor - leaving us holding the bag, a weight of which was never intended for one person alone to hold. For example, you agree to have kids with someone and then they divorce you, refuse to pay child support - you’re left holding the bag for something you can’t legally and consciously drop (and at the same time carry), and it thereby leaves you stuck with burdens you cannot get free of without serious repercussions to your children/family. What about a person who keeps finding themselves in this repeated pattern of coming into clear agreement with people who leave them holding the bag, thereby keeping them stuck in life. Thanks 🙏
I realised I’ve been keeping someone at a distance because I feel I need to sort out my ducks first before being able to handle the full-on version of the relationship, and for some time now I still haven’t figured out how to provide a sustainable level of basic stability for myself… To bring the other person into my life to a deeper level would add more pressure than I am already under. I already suggested that we should probably let go of each other entirely, and he said to stop talking crazy, so he doesn’t want to let go but I don’t think holding space for someone who can’t yet step into the role as a true partner is a healthy distraction… 🤷🏼♀️
I just love that you end the video with the idea that the process of become more clear can actually make a person get on the same page easier with another one.....the fact that you always put things in the direction of connection is heart warming and inspiring, cause a lot of people and "profetionals" would treat this as some sord of direction to split and breake connections betwin people, than you Teal.

I’m in this exact situation - I want to move to another area. One day my partner says he wants to come with me then 2 days later he says he doesn’t want to as we are incompatible. We are living in my place so I can’t leave and he has nowhere to go. He clearly doesn’t like me very much any more - I also dread going home sometimes - I’m really stuck and miserable.
Time to leave him behind and choose a love that is bigger.. even if it only exists in the future.

Exactly. I asked my trainer to escort me to a gallery and somehow he thought that meant I wanted to sleep with him. I didn’t and I don’t want to. He’s married, with kids, and is majorly out of my league. Now I’ve quit my CrossFit gym (which was good thing) but now I’m in limbo when it comes to relationships.
Looking back at what I’ve did wrong in other relationships and what I need to do to keep one. The ex who I still have feelings for isn’t good and I wasn’t good to him but alas…no just want to get over him and move onto better things with better people.
