    If anyone is considering buying one of his rings, do it! I bought one a year ago for my wedding and my fiancé was a little concerned with it being wood. Durability and what not. A year later and it still looks the same! They’re just as gorgeous as in his videos! He’s a super nice guy, great to work with! Also, first.

      does it have scratches?, i just bought a ring and im doing work everytime using my hands, im concerned. will it break or get scratches all that, i can always remove it when i work but its such a hassle since it fits so well that it hurts my fingers when i remove it. i want to be able to work and not remove it everytime

    • @suecollins3246
      @suecollins3246 2 роки тому

      If your ring hurts your finger when it's removed, it does _not_ fit properly. Some illnesses and medications and even hot weather - or your monthly period - can cause your fingers to swell, making your ring _impossible_ to remove and possibly adversely affecting the circulating of your hands in the long run.

    • @suecollins3246
      @suecollins3246 2 роки тому

      Sorry - that should read 'circulation'. Don't worry about the ring scratching - both the resin and the CA (whichever the jeweller uses!) is actually _very_ hard.

    How do you get your Veneer to roll up so nice? It looks like you just dip it in water ... certain woods don’t roll up for me. I usually simmer mine in water for 15 to 20 min. You seem to have an easier time.

    I love your videos always have. I have a question tho, it seems that you shave off a lot of material when making a ring so if you start out with say 4 layers, how many do you actually end up with? Thank you so much for your time in showing us your gorgeous rings. They never fail to fascinate me. Stay well Sir.

    Love the blade technique on the finishing layers of CA . I end up putting heaps on and just sanding it back but using the blade like a trowel works well👍🏼

    Surprised the wood didn't break up considering he did not cut with the grain and the wood was not soaked that long. Was a step skipped on purpose or does the properties of zebrawood allow that much forgiveness?

      Zebrano Wood Craft uses medium thickness CA in his with accelerator. It's stronger and harder than resin and actually polishes up better.
