i think its nice that the boathouse and owlery can easily fit in with the 2018-2020 series and the 2021-2023 series because theyre standalone buildings anyway. they had done almost every interesting room for the 21-23 series and ive bought them all so i probably wont get any repeat buildings with the new series but if theres anything too different then ill pick them up and combine with what i already have
I never really bought any of the 2020-2023 hogwarts sets but I have all the 2018-2020 sets and I'm looking forward to adding both the boathouse and owlery to that display.
I 100% agree with you, as owner of the sand green modular castle I have no interest into a new castle built. I’m however disappointed, I think they could continue an extra here to had more rooms… and yes , if I should continue I’ll do with diagonal alley modules .
I’m totally going to collect this new set series despite having the last system. I hope they will add new shops for the Diagon Alley since I do have the 75978. Also while the movies were amazing I can’t wait to see a more in depth show and yes the sets to go with it.
As far as getting another wave of Hogwarts Castle expansion sets, at this point how different can they be from previous years? Ever since the theme re-launched back in 2018, I've been hopeful/saving for an official wave of UCS Hogwarts expansion sets that are still modular but bigger and more detailed. As much as I love Lego Harry Potter, I've been disappointed in years past with the Hogwarts Castle waves released but I guess one can only hope. As always appreciate the info/video (:
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the 2018 sets did not fit together very intuitively and overall does not have a very pleasing or accurate exterior. Personally I’m super excited for a new castle (:
Here is the thing about the upcoming Max series. I think that a lot of the Hogwarts builds themselves will still be quite accurate to the new show, because I think they are going to keep the same overall silhouette of the castle, but tweak it to fit their own needs, much like the video game Hogwarts Legacy. The theme parks are the main reason why this will probably be the case. You wouldn't want a new generation of HP fans confused by a whole different Hogwarts.
I also would have less of a problem with the new show when they atleast keep the designs from the films. Props like wands and books, the locations and the beasts. Everything from the films is so iconic now that changing everything would just harm the franchise
If this new show is as accurate to the books as everyone keeps claiming the locations should not be changing much its just the minifigures that would need to be changed for new actors.
Noticed the snow on the owlery, do you think they may be rebooting a winter hogwarts castle? Shrieking shack, hogsmeade & 2023 advent calendar all had snow as well? If so they need to do more changes than just putting snow of roofs. Would be great to get a castle that included each house dorm & great room.
I love lego and collect my absolute must haves outside of Harry Potter, but no matter what they do I'll pretty much get them all. This new expansion set I will most likely purchase just because I'm already excited reading "the most detailed set ever made" 🎉❤😂. The 2 new sets go great with the 2018 sets so no matter what I will buy those. I get excited over every single one. I don't care, I'm just happy they make them. I won't purchase the hedwig, car or forest sets because I don't need them, but I do understand why they are making them. The Hagrids hut is amazing!!!! Finally a new version of Hagrid. Love the new outfit pieces for everyone as well. Super excited to see the summer wave, and for the love of Pete please yes a Leaky Cauldron.
I really like the idea of a new Hogwarts expansion set. I still don’t love the green roofs and the buildings had gaps in the walls and felt incomplete.

i do exactly the opposite :)
More harry potter sets is always a good thing in my opinion.
I think we'll probably get a new great hall next year since that's normally the first set they release for a new Hogwarts castle.
Hi Topic, hope you are doing fine? I was surprised not to see a reaction video to the June wave...

I'm gonna wait and see - like a year. I just completed my green roof castle. I dont need another. But new wave owelry and boathouse look great so far.

I just had stand alone sets last time so will get this hogwarts set

Great point about the TV show as that would definitely prompt another relaunch. I'm more excited for the new Diagon Alley shops next year

hey, im interested about the auction - what condition are the minifigs in?
When will your next video come out? Also, do you know any sets that will be coming in Summer 2024?
I’ll see you all on Saturday!
Thank you for the information! I was wondering about a lot of this stuff and you answered a lot of my questions 🙏🏻
They should make a Lego Maze set

Great video rosy thanks for the info 👍
Any time!
Could you please show us all the hp gwp sets?
easy solution. get the boat house and owlery and then buy green bricks to "fix" the roofs
I really like the idea of a new Hogwarts expansion set. I still don’t love the green roofs and the buildings had gaps in the walls and felt incomplete.
Súper cool, future Polybag 2024. 😮🤯😄😎👍💯
I want a more accurate chamber of secrets that last one was horrible and half assed.
Ik weet het nog niet 🤔
Excited about the new hogwarts expansion. Goodbye to those ugly floor grates
