    I'll try a squeeze clamp next time I mount tires. Last year I filled the rear tires on my grader tractor at the time. I had great success using my tow behind yard sprayer. I Filled it with RV antifreeze, laid the tire flat on the concrete with the valve stem up, used the slime filling adapter on the end, and with the regulator set at like 15-20 psi. It went well, every time it hit 20 you shut the pump off and bleed the pressure out and start again. Got around 8 Gallons per rear tire. I watched a few videos of people with pumps, and I figured I could fill my tires and winterize my sprayer at the same time. Can't wait to see how it does with the added weight!

      Thanks for the advice! I grabbed a transfer pump at the same time when I bought the siphon thing the other day. Didn’t even try the pump. I noticed when I got it to siphon just right it went surprisingly quick. But then it would come time to let the air out and it was just a mess 😅
      If you fluid fill any tires again maybe make a video, there are tons out there but I’d like to see how you do it! My son wants to fill all four tires on the “Rebel” tractor we use as a work horse around the yard. Definitely would try a different method on that! Anyway I haven’t tried driving it yet but I’ll be posting when I do. Thank you for commenting!

    First off , thanks for the shout out!! Great video, It is a little bit tedious, but it is a cheap and easy way to fill them. I also have the same HF tire changer, I have had it for 15 years or something. Just an FYI, and maybe you already know, but the long bar that comes with the tire changer is used to take the tire all the way off after debeading and to install it. It gets pulled around the center post while set in the tire a certain way. Again maybe you know. I can send you a quick video if you want on how I use mine. I hope the extra weight helps you gain confidence, I gradually started taking fluid out over time as I got used to how it felt, Charlie no longer has any fluid in the front tires... The clamp is a great idea too.

      Yes sir I try giving credit where it’s due on who I saw do something or inspired me! That long red bar that came with the kit, I do use that to get the tire off the rim on the top side bead, but not for the bottom bead. Because I don’t know how to use it entirely 😅
      I end up using screw drivers and other bars for that. I have a steep incline that is the beginning of my trail on my property. It’s the place my son rolled the 111 last week and broke his wrist. He went off on his own and did that the day I was supposed to go up and film it. I was having second thoughts about doing it because the leaves have fallen on that trail and it’s wet underneath. Him and my other son have gone up it before but that was in the summer months when it’s dry and has grass. I guess he was trying to show me that it was possible and that I would be able to do it. Anyway, that part of my trail goes up at least 100 yards and if anything was to happen on the way up there’s not much stopping someone from rolling all the way down or going off the side and then there’s even a worse drop off down into a valley. That’s why I’m trying to prep this thing and do everything I can to feel safer when I try to make that trip up. I also thought about prepping the trail before driving on it like raking the leaves off and trying to expose and see what’s underneath. this whole off-road mower project, I embarked on this pretty much based around driving up that trail. Maybe I should just get a quad, I don’t know. Eventually, I’m gonna go for it, and when I do, we’re gonna be filming and I won’t be by myself, my sons will be there, spotting me! Thank you so much for commenting and the inspiration! And yes if you have videos about how you use your tire changer. I wouldn’t mind seeing that!

      I would love to see the hill climb!! Off road tractors are way more fun than a quad, but a quad is more universal. Once the jitters go away and you get used to how your rig performs, you will be more apt to take on harder and harder obstacles. Maybe I will just make a short how to vid for my channel about the tire changer..

      Yes sir when I first started watching all you guys (This goes back a long time to the fearless front days) with these off-road tractors, I was definitely attracted to it, well, obviously😅
      The reason I say, maybe I should just get a quad for my trail is because I would just like a stress-free way to get up. To me, it’s pretty daunting, just walking up it wears you out the first hundred yards or so. I’m pretty certain that a lot of you guys would fly up that trail and make it look easy! Like you said though I just need to get more confident on it and gain experience, seat time. I think in one of your recent videos you said that you were 47? I’m gonna be 46 in January 19 and I’m getting more and more afraid to get hurt as I get older.😅

    Sick! I would probaly liquid fill my mudmowers tires to if it wasn’t so heavy lol, it has cast iron front axle with 19.5 opposed twin so it is heavy in the front!

      This thing is already heavy, but from what I’ve learned in the recent past made me decide to do it

    Nice, pumping fluid in the tires is pretty tedious. I have fluid in Dirty Rat and Bowser. I cheap'd out and didn't run tubes. It'll probably come to bite me one day.

    • @Tennesseemountainhomestead
      @Tennesseemountainhomestead  10 місяців тому +1

      I did the tubes because I saw Hot Lap Garage’s video and he explained why he uses tubes

      @@TennesseemountainhomesteadOh, I have nothing against it. I probably should have myself. My rims were new and I figured it would last long enough for me before it rusted out. Good leak detection should I pop a hole. LOL.

      @MightyRaze I have no experience either way, just seemed like a good idea to run inner tubes
