Could you make a rack in a 5 gallon bucket? I was thinking to put some sort of cement in the bottom of a bucket to give it a bit of weight and then shove those plugged tubes into 4-6 inches worth of cement. I think I could fit 8-12 tubes comfortably in a bucket with room to fan the tubes a bit. **bonus; if the tubes are shorter than the bucket they will be great for stacking with lids, they can be painted easily for a theme, and u can add foil tape on the inside of the bucket and rim to prevent any melting from sparks. ***
I bought some tubes from another company(my bad)and noticed some had crooked plugs in them. I started putting them up to the light and I can see light coming through the edges of the tube at the plug so they aren't fully plugged. Is this normal? If not is it dangerous? Seems like lift charge will be blowing out the bottom of the tubes. Can you look at some of yours up to the light to see if you can see any light coming through the bottom?
I would reach out to the company where you purchased these from. We don't want to take responsibility for someone else's tubes. Our plugs are tight in the tube. Keep in mind plastic/wood both contract and expand.
@@PYROBOOM True but if you see light coming through all the tubes at the plug then something ain't right. Am I correct in that assumption? lift charge will be blowing out the bottom won't it? I would never ask you to take responsibility for someone else's junk. I'm just asking you cause you know
@@bigmacfullerton7870 I would request you discuss the issues with as much detail you can provide to your supplier. They will need to make a decision on what to do with the tubes you have. I'm sorry that we can't help anymore with this.
Hi there, what kind of machine do you use to cut your long HDPE pipes? And can I do this with a regular saw? Where can I get good quality plugs made for 3'' HDPE mortars?

Would the shell go higher if the tube was longer
Probably not. If it does go higher it's only 5 to 10 feet.
just picked up some

www.pyroboom.com/products.aspx?name=plugs
We have 3" plugs up for sale. Thanks!
What type of tape do you use to connect the fuses
Zip ties are a good choice. I generally don't use tape.
What size ID for a 3” shell?
For 3" diameter shells you will want a 3.0" ID tube.
@@PYROBOOM Wasn’t sure on the size. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
