seriously! having someone like aaron kyro around just seems to make people try harder. he is such an amazing teacher and I give him so much credit for teaching kids. Aaron is not just a pro skater he is just a pro at life. When I was that kids age It would have meant the world to me if a pro taught me a trick and stuck with me till I learned it. He is changing lives.
one of my fave things about these videos is the way that they encourage and ask the kids to perform tricks for them, including them in the video. that's more amazing than a lot of people know..

Braille, I've been watching y'all's videos for a little over a year, and I have to say that what you did for Junior was the most incredible thing y'all have ever done on this channel. You guys giving him the board isn't what I'm talking about either (as awesome as it is). I'm talking about the lesson he got out of it. He stayed bound and determined to kickflip that 5 stair, and his determination paid off. He learned that with enough heart and determination he can get just about anything he wants. The board can be replaced, but the lesson he learned is priceless.

It was more of a "get the fuck out of the way"-mentality then, and I know it is still like that in many places.
I've seen they bump in to kids when playing game of skate etc, they just laughs it off.

Yeah. I wish there were more people like Aaron and lance and them. I honestly hate going to skateparks because im so insecure of the rude people. People laughing at you when you fall, people trying to fight for no reason, ect, and people could say "just ignore them" but sometimes its easier said then done and you lose all motivation when people look down on you rather than try to lift you up.

Dude, I don't think you guys realize Junior will never forget that moment in his life. One day when he feels down, he'll remember the time he had the whole skate park chanting his name. You guys really made that little kid's day and probably inspired him for decades to come. I was genuinely happy to see Junior get that board. He really deserved it!

I gave a complete away yesterday. gave it to a guy I met at the basketball court who I've also seen skate around and I asked him about it and he said his board got stolen out of the trunk of his car with some other stuff so I hooked him up. I also gave one to a kid 2 months ago who was just learning how to ollie but his board was crap. We stay in touch. Feels good to give back.
I just happen to have old parts laying around that I don't use so Might as well give it to someone who would put it to good use right?

It was very nice to see Lance receive all those gifts, and Aaron's intentions were excellent with the giveaways, but I'm not so sure about pushing a 9-year-old to kickflip down a set of stairs he never tried before (he just kickflipped down a curb before that). Junior got hurt at one point. Giving him a new complete skateboard was the least they could do for him, after that much social pressure.
