Hircy Glowstick it doesn't matter about the ground. U have to skate in rocky concrete and i can do a lot of basic tricks
i dont even have a skateboard :p
Lol same mines like rocky ground
Get some 78a durometer wheels like Bones Rough Riders or Ricta Clouds.. slightly bigger maybe a 56mm so they'll roll over everything.. they'll eat up rocky concrete no problems. People use them on grass, gravel, concrete.. everything. I have the worst terrain ever for skating.. so did a lot of the Brazilian pros when they were growing up.. it's all about finding a setup that works.. trying to make do with the best you have. Plus when you have skated on bad terrain and actually do get to good terrain you'll find it so much easier.

For the love of god, get the child a smaller board!
yeah, he's too short
+Damian and he keeps putting his foot too far forward. I can't skate to save my life but even I can see Feddy balancing on and jumping off that back wheel. The kid might be able to pop if he moved his front foot all the way back to just in front of where the back wheel is. But because the board is also too big for him, it's a whole lot heavier than he should be kicking.
For the love of god give you a lower income... Lack of modivation.

Sometimes whenever I eat M&Ms, I like to hold two M&Ms in between my fingers and squeeze as hard as I can until one M&M cracks, I eat the cracked one, and the one that didn't crack becomes the champion. Then I grab another M&M and force it to compete with the champion in this deadly game of M&M gladiators. I do this until I run out of M&Ms and when there is only one M&M left standing, I send a letter to M&Ms brand with the champion M&M in it with a note attached that reads: "please use this M&M for breeding purposes.

yep! I did my first ollie a few months back! I still need to work on getting it higher but I'll get it :D
Hope they see this...
Having them take time to teach and have the kids commit and learn how to do tricks is what could make Braille Skateboarding really make the skate community come together and have fun, which is what skateboarding should be. When we teach each other and have fun and commit to different challenges we can pass and it can teach us to take on the different challenges of life. These are life lessons when it comes down to it and if they bring everyone together like this, it could really give the entire community a better way to come together and have fun and enjoy the times where you get that first ollie or the first tre-double flip.
Thanks for the awesome videos and I hope to see more like it coming from you guys.
Aaron is such a good patient teacher, appreciated😌👌
I love how patient he is
I can't help but notice he never mentions to the kid to "jump" with his back foot and bend his knees up...?
^^ This. Even if you do "step 1 and 2" together perfectly, nothing's going to happen if you don't jump off your back foot. You need to jump to give the board somewhere to go in the air.
CizreK i dont think hes at that point yet
that's what i notice about Aaron he never talked about that part
Yeah that's what I was thinking the whole time and I haven't skated since I was crap at it 10 years ago.
idk My little brother could do it as a kid cuz I told him to jump. My method was teach the person a manual. Then have them roll towards a curb and "Manual and jump". Then judge how much help they need from there. Believe it or not a lot of people end up learning to ollie this way. They get confident cuz they make it up the curb.

yaaaasss, the actual channel is back
for 1 day. probably just trying to get sales for SMS because the Thanksgiving sale is coming up.
Enrico Rocca they record like 8 vids in a single day. thats why it seems so long before something like this. also they're gonna be busy since they're making a new shredquarters. braillequarters
It's being like for 5 month of damn stupid skate and now we back to learn stuff!
there's way more than 8 videos in between where they show learning something vs something like stupid skate. It's literally months in between. They care more about the views now than they do about teaching.. the original purpose of the channel. Every once in a while they throw the original subscribers a bone.. like this episode.
People might stop complaining about the content if 1 of the 8 would be a teaching video. That is not too much to ask.
you have to tell people to kick OUT not up with the board. It really helps them understand the motion they need to do for the front foot
also tell them to lean forward because they are usually leaning backwards when they are learning.
And to lift the back leg. There's no room for the board to go up if your leg is keeping it down.
***** no for kick flips i tell them to kick down to flip the board so they can understand what they are trying to accomplish
eqqhwehas thanks
telling people to kick down for a kickflip is the worst advice... you kick out and forward, not down, never down

with any practice based skill like this, everyone does this. If I tried to show you how to do something you didn't have any idea how to do that was entirely based on skill, you'd do the same thing. He's saying "yeah, I know what you're telling me, but my legs aren't listening"
He was actually trying what Aaron told him most the time, its just hard getting your ankle use to that type of motion. Especially when youre just a child and a regular skateboard is like a longboard to you lol

Lmao you sound like someone scared of their own sexuality.
WHAT ABOUT STEP JUMP? lol
I love braille's videos but ive noticed this even from the beginning of the channel. You gotta put pressure on the tail and literally lift off of it and bring your back knee up into the air allowing the board to be LEVELED, like he explains.
Overtime one will be popping Ollies so high their back knee is up beside their chest. Cheers!
You're not teaching him to bend his knees first. That's most important, specifically for small kids, because when you slide the side of your heel up and jump, you execute more power against the tail which gives more pop. The lower you bend your knees and jump, the higher your ollie will be. Try it for yourselves to see if you notice a difference. Also, try showing him the movements on the ground without using a board and how it needs to be a fluid motion of the lead leg going forward first, while halfway through planting your back foot on the tail. Think of standing on a see-saw and how your legs naturally move each time it teeters back and forth. That smooth motion from the front leg to the back. I've taught many people, including children how to ollie, and once you begin teaching them to bend at the knees while jumping up on the slide, it becomes much easier. Remember, he NEEDS that extra pressure on the tail for the pop simply due to his light weight and leg length, and his lead leg needs to be exactly on the center of the board, if not, then closer to the tail end. Also, get some chalk or a box cutter and create lines into the grip tape to show him the proper positioning so he can follow them visually without constantly losing his positions on the board.
