    crazy how good his memory is, he recalls exact scores and people so well. I doubt he ever expected be asked a question about tsitsipas but recalled that he wouldve played him last year and the score of the match today in passing.

    Federer is looking sharp, playing great and most importantly, enjoying himself. He clearly did that SABR to also have a bit of fun and mix it up. That says a lot about his mentality at the moment, he is fully in the zone and playing his best tennis. Looking forward to Monday very much.

      I think being the best player of our generation helps. I dont compare ears, Borg, McEnroe , they were great in thier day. Sampras, Aggasi, Courier, same story. but this era RF is the man.

      @1ena585 6 років тому

      Federer's carrer has two parts really. Pre Big-Four he completely dominated, but he was constantly challenged by Murray/Nadal/Djokovic, both in slams in M1000 after 2007/8. Calling him the best of the era is questionnable considering his record against his main rivals.

      sonia kumari When everybody's shrugging their shoulders about Stan's game, RF reminds them why they should not underrate his game every single time in every way.

      Stan's won a slam every year from 2014. he was in the french open final in 2017 but lost to Nads. then he got injured. I don't know why people are surprised. Dimitrov hasn't done anything other than show unfulfilled potential. Stan's the real deal.

    Federer's conferences are longer than other players. After all these years he's still so generous with his time. He gives full answers and is polite while doing it. Some other players should take note. Like Kyrgios. He's giving blunt, dull responses and saying he doesn't want to answer this question and let's keep it to this match and he's there probably not even ten minutes.

      Federer has a great consistent serve.. that is the only reason he wins on grass.. I saw his match yesterday.. when it comes to big rallies he cannot keep up.. thats why grass surface is boring as hell.. too short points

    • @Sy-yw5nl
      @Sy-yw5nl 6 років тому +7

      He is an old man now without endless reserves of energy. His strategy, all the more true now, is to keep the points short. If the rally goes on for too long, he knows he cannot rely on winning it by attrition alone so he ends it with a kill shot, win or lose. Combine his serving with his unmatched skill and touch, the bewildering variety of shots, unbelievable serve and volley skills and amazing tennis sense and intuition, 9 times out of 10 he comes off with the win

      Sandesh Pandit abe chote, 37 ka jab nadal ho jayga tab dekhunga kitni rally karta hai wo. Aur 2017 me kya ho gaya nadal ko? Kyu ghaseet liya fed ne usko? Kar leta jitni rally karni hai.
