I totally understand it can be daunting, I’m kind of going through a wardrobe revamp at the moment, and I’m just taking it really slow and doing it mindfully, and learning what I like as I go. I love the outfit with short and trench coat. I am not a fan of trench coat but I find this outfit very vlsssy and relax at the same time. The white T Shirt gives the look a light touch. Recently I have created an outfit with my own trench coat a little bit inspired by our "classic öookbooks". Thank you!

These outfits are lovely! After hearing that polyester is bad, I went through my capsule wardrobe and eliminated all clothes that were 50% or more polyester. I didn't realize how many items I had (my classic trench coat was 100% polyester!) but luckily there weren't too many. I'm replacing them with cotton, linen, silk, etc. The problem I have now, is that although the fabric of my blazers isn't polyester, the lining is. Should I ignore that or should I replace the polyester with a different lining, such as silk? It may cost a lot. Not sure if you can help with this or not!
Hey Marjie, my understanding is that one should not necessarily replace all of their polyester garments straight away. If they're in good nick and fashionable, continue to wear them so they do not end up in landfill. Just be mindful going forward not to purchase anything new made of the stuff. Happy to be corrected. 🌞

Hi lovely! I also think it’s not bad to keep your polyester items, the more we can wear these items the more we reduce their overall carbon footprint. As long as going forward you try to avoid polyester then that’s the main thing! 🥰
I also find it very frustrating when you get a beautiful cotton dress/blazer and they line it with polyester! 😤😤☹️ but if it’s comfortable then definitely leave it, no need to change it at your cost. I only removed a polyester lining from a dress once because the polyester was making me sweat a lot which was uncomfortable.

Loved from the first outfit! I also have a very old trench coat that is rather tailored than slouchy like the recent trendy ones... and I see it can still work in 2021.
I have narrow skinny feet like you, do you think those beige knitted flats would work for me? Tried cheaper pair in a shop and they just fell off from my feet.

Yes I have quite a narrow foot and the shoes stayed on my feet fine! The stretchy fabric isn’t too tight but it kind of moulds around your foot which is good. But I would just double check their returns policy to make sure you can return them in case you have any problems ♥️

Hey Em, Beautiful video,... How tall are you? I feel for me, only 5'5" I would have to use maybe a wedge shoe to add a little more height... I don't know if it'sjust me, but I don't feel so elegant until I wear heels :(
Hello lovely 👋🏽♥️ so yeah, I am pretty tall. I am 5’9 , so I’m not completely educated on petite styling yet, but I understand what you mean. Have you checked out @PetiteDressing on UA-cam? She is really great at explaining proportions etc. I have just started watching her videos to get a better understanding myself.
I think it comes down to what you are comfortable in. If you’re looking for a flat shoe, off the top of my head I would say, that going for a slightly pointed toe rather than a rounded toe, would give the illusion of elongated legs. I would also say that if your shoes are the same colour as your trousers (or a similar shade) that would also help to create one long straight line and elongate your legs.
This is just off the top of my head and I can’t say for sure it’s accurate because I’m really not educated there. But you should definitely check out the channel I mentioned above. And I hope you still can get lots of value from my channel too ♥️🌈✨ xxx

Sorry lovely, I’m not saying you have to care, I’m personally not super fussed with keeping up with celebrity style, but I do enjoying seeing other people’s style for inspiration to see what I like for myself. And I’ve noticed a lot of people wearing ballet flats and I love how effortless they look, and how they can be matched with so many outfits, that’s why I got my first pair over a year ago 🥰
