I used these for my backsplash job last year and they worked great. The box extenders that I bought just didn't pan out, so I was really glad to have come across this video. I'm doing another backsplash job, so it's good to be reminded of the best option out there.

this is so great! I just bought my first house. All the outlet plates in the kitchen are secured with adhesive tape to the backslash because they couldn't screw them back on after tiling. I knew there had to be a fix! Thank you so much!

I simply don't get it...... Why would anyone give this video a thumb's down? Don't like the color of the spacers? So glad I came across this, before I started my backsplash. Thanks so much for sharing both your valuable time and expertise.

Great video! i replaced a two prong receptacle tonight & i don't know why...but i did something stupid! For some reason i thought that i had to chip some of the wall away from the box screw holes so that the new receptacle could be tightened to the box. i wasn't thinking! i realized this when the cover screw was too short. Rookie mistake. i'll never forget that the receptacle goes flush with finish wall. i thought i was going to have to get small washers to space it forward. Thank GOD they have these cool little spacers! Thank you for your video...it was a big help! henry thurman

Thanks again. i used them this weekend to move my receptacle out...only needed a couple top & bottom. Home Depot has them in black instead of yellow. They changed the color. They don't tear off anymore either...you have to cut them off via a scissor, razor, etc. Great product. henry

I got a chance to use the spacers in a few projects and I cant believe how well they work. Whoever invented them, must be very wealthy by now. Anyway, they remind me of Lego blocks.

The tape needs to be wrapped around the receptacle a few times to secure it from pealing off over time. There is some concern that the sides are not fully protected.
