Do you prefer this or the falchion? I personally like more the falchion, as I do better with it, don't ask me why tho, it just happens
Sword is my favourite sword in the game. What’s better comes down to play style preference.
Sword 3 shots all classes with any heavy attack. Also footmen with 3 light stabs. It’s faster and slightly longer than falchion. Stabs are good here.
Falchion can do the same. Main difference is two heavy overheads can tale down Vanguards and 3 light slashes can take out footmen. Stabs are not good here.
Does the choice of shield also affect your movement speed?
Yes when they are deployed and active. Put it on your back to run faster. Bigger shield = slower movement speed when actively deployed.
@@klevinduck is the same still true if both of the shields are unequipped?
How about the attack speed? I always end up putting the shields on my back with the assumption that it makes me swing faster. I couldn't really tell the difference though.
Well the light shield still feels fast when deployed but I've never really tested if you run faster with it stowed. I just assumed you'd run faster but at the same time I never use the light shield. The one time I did was for my fists + shield video.
Attack speed is not altered by having a shield equipped/unequipped.
