    Which of the 5 points do you think is the most important? For me, not having the date window took a bit of getting used to 🙌🏻

      An Indian Abroad for me it’s the one thing you didn’t mention. The availability of a flush mount rubber strap.

      Eddie Miller Interestingly, I have never heard of the rubber strap for the BB Bronze before. I would be grateful if you could share a link please 🙏🏻

      An Indian Abroad I was stating the lack of a rubber band for it. The only one I know that is available is by Rubber B. They just released one for it and it looks nice. I just can’t justify the price. I know Rubber B makes good bands but for that price I expect the warranty to be solid. I have heard a lot issues with Rubber B standing behind their product after the warranty expires. Here’s the link. rubberb.com/en/tudor-watch-band/strap-tudor-black-bay-bronze-tang-buckle

      Eddie Miller got you now. And yes, I was focused on official straps from Tudor. The Rubber B looks good but like you said, I am not keen on the price until I read more about the brand. Thank you for the link 👍🏻

      I love the lack of date complication. Better symmetry which plays into the other great feature, the Arabic 3,6&9.

    Overlooked features I love: 1) The winding experience is better than any other watch I have 2) The lume is spectacular 3) the tactile and audible click action on the bezel is perfect 3) the nato strap holes have kept their composure 4) 200m resistance is crazy 5) the smoky grey dial...and as a bonus, the matte black finish on the bezel doesnt overpower it

    I'm glad you showed that picture at the 8 second mark. Literally none of those watches look anything like what they do on IG and UA-cam close up videos. NOTHING. People use camera effects and special close ups to make them looking glowing, vintage, and basically humming with visuals that don't exist with the human eye. So nothing from the 8 second mark is stunning at all. Thats most watches in general i mean. Social media makes them look glowing and stunning. But I thank you for this video, it really really helps. good job

    I just picked this watch up a few days ago at a luxury dealer… my first watch north of $1000. With tax, it was just over 6K here in Canada. I absolutely love it for all the same reasons the reviewer cited. My eye went straight to it. Once I saw it, all the other pieces paled by comparison (including Breitling and Rolex). Great job, Tudor!

    Great video. I love my BB Bronze. The AD tried to sell me the BB 58 but I am a big guy and that 58 look silly on me. Don’t get me wrong, the 58 is a great watch but it looks like I’m wearing a women’s watch when I put it on. I don’t like watches below 41mm. Plus I love the bronze metal and the patina effect. No regrets on my purchase.

    best part is no date. if you have multiple watches and some are mechanical, it can become pain in the neck to adjust each time . if no date , it makes it a little easier. in Australia we have day time saving etc and its a pain to set over 20 watches every 6 months.

    • @AnIndianAbroad
      @AnIndianAbroad  3 роки тому +1

      Great shout and I couldn't agree more. Although for me, this is the only automatic watch I own as of now, so I wasn't thinking from a watch collection owners perspective.
      Setting 20 watches does sound painful, especially the ones with advanced complications. All I can say is good luck & wear them in good health :)

    Great review thanks and some good points to think about. For me "Point 6 The Thickness" would be an important feature to mention and is the reason I wouldn't have one. I find a 10mm maximum thickness is about the limit of the comfort zone. An accurate side by side with the 39mm version would be great too as your vid makes the 39mm look larger, but I appreciate very difficult to show on screen.

    Hi. Really good video. I’ve almost decided to go ahead with this purchase, and this video was the most useful I’ve found, thank you. Still haven’t fully decided on slate over brown. Did you have a look at the other one before you bought this? I just feel the slate is more versatile. But then I get this sense that the original bronze is a classic. Be good to hear thoughts. Best wishes, and thanks again.

    • @AnIndianAbroad
      @AnIndianAbroad  4 роки тому

      Hey Gareth, thank you for the feedback, I am glad you found the video useful.
      I did have a good look (in person) at both, the brown and the bucherer blue version before buying this one. And I felt exactly the same as you about versatality (hence wearability) vs classic/investment opportunity, between the bucherer blue & this slate grey version.
      In the end, I chose everyday wearability over investment opportunity as I love to wear my watches and not baby them. Personally, I just did not feel I could carry off a brown or a blue watch everyday with the kind of clothes I normally wear.
      So it depends on what you are buying this watch for and your personality. But whichever colour you go for, you can't go wrong with a BBB.
      It is an absolutely stunning piece and I wish you the best with your next purchase. Do let me know which one you buy when you do and enjoy it in good health my friend.

    I've enjoyed watching your updates. There is something really fascinating about this bronze finish. I quite like it. Quick note - the watch shown at 4:22 was actually the Black Bay Steel and Gold with leather strap. You can see the date window and the stainless steel lugs, which set it apart. It looks similar, but it doesn't have the same charm...

    I think that you need point out 2 more things. First that it has an i house tudor manufacture movement and second thatthe case base is staileds steel colored bronze so it doest turn your skin green because bronze is a living metal and it will pass the oxidation color to your skin.

    How's the lume and bezel action say 30 metres down?

  • @markcort1670
    @markcort1670 4 роки тому

    Amit,I bought this on 2nd May this year after watching your other video. Can I ask about the bezel? is it supposed to be able to move up and down/springy? Mine does although the movement of the bezel feels uniform and doesn't feel like a fault. Mine does't move a lot but feels "springy" It moves less than 1mm but I'd just like to know if this is a factory fault or purposely done.
    My patina is developing slowly although it's a much darker colour than when I bought it 3 weeks ago

    • @AnIndianAbroad
      @AnIndianAbroad  4 роки тому +1

      Congratulations on the new purchase Mark. Glad to hear my video was able to give you some perspective. And that is an interesting question about the bezel. I never really noticed the springy-ness of the bezel until I checked it after your comment. Happy to confirm my one is exactly how you describe it too and it doesn’t seem like a fault to me. And the patina develops quicker the more you wear it. Enjoy yours in good health my friend 🙏🏻🙌🏻
