Did you know you can drag the travois through some caves? For example, you can drag it all the way from the Dam to Pleasant Valley and back. Works for any cave that has a cave-style entrance and no narrow areas inside. Also, you can drag it up or down pretty much any wide slope by going at it sideways and dragging it back and forth, zig-zagging your way up or down. Mountaineer's Hut to the cave to Blackrock is even doable without any zig-zagging. Just make sure to stay sideways enough, never facing directly up or down a steep slope!
You can drag the travois over some logs that span a distance too, such as the one in the valley in Broken Railroad on the way to the Forlorn Muskeg transition.

This might be a long comment, but I really appreciate your videos. They are well made for someone just starting to make content. I have played TLD for a long time. (300+ hrs) You are a true veteran of this game. Leaving hoods up, taking out your bow before going outside, playing interloper pretty much exclusively, etc. I never knew any of the bugs/tips that you have found. I look forward to your next video! I hope this was encouraging for you to keep making more content!

I also hate the cougar sounds and pretty much 90% about it.
milton really is such an easy region because its practically a region much easier in terms of how much loot there is those coffee you found n the bank, most of those are guaranteed spawns that part with destroying objects, you really can just do that even without tools ive found out myself, but i didnt know that if you have the tools it would use them up, thats crazy

I'm on about day 380 of a hopeful 1,000 day run (achievement) on Voyageur difficulty and have been banging my head against the wall trying to get the Exposure achievement. I have taken photos in all of the 16 regions required and it still won't pop. If I find a solution I'll add it to this post. Good luck and have fun, liked and subbed. Btw, I enjoy drinking coffee and water while playing, I want a Hinterland coffee mug badly!

I had no idea about tool decay for destroying items. There's also another bug that allows you to repair cabinet doors without the woodworking tools. So, yes ... Drop your tools! I am enjoying the content! However, IMO when it comes to tips and tricks 6-8 minute videos are best.

You can use ruined food if you have at least one not ruined of it: Simply drop and pick up all the ruined items first, then the non ruined one. Cooking will see you have a non ruined ingredient, but will use in the order you picked them up, so going through all the ruined ones first.
Found out that too about the tools the hard way. Destroyed a couple of cardboard boxes that were cluttering the space, and also didn't need Tinder anymore, because of Fire Lv 5, and found out that my good knife was now in yellow condition. The game doesn't tell you that destroying with safehouse customization will use your tools! D: Also about Quonset garage, I didn't see any more wolves around it, but I think the site is now cougar territory, although it might be deactivated in that specific region for now according to the Wiki, for some reason.
Yea it interfered with trading routes is what the devs said. And I think the cougar only spawns there if you killed the cougar up on the way to Ravine.
@LootenantTLD Ahh that'd make sense. Yeah since the Trader box is only there in Coastal Highway, and the Quonset garage is the best, closest base to it, I can see how it could greatly affect the trading routes there being a cougar stalking you every time, and with how quick they respawn. I think that it'd get extremely annoying eventually 😅
AFAIK is pretty much what he mentioned,all loot spawned when starting the game starts decaying regionwide,if its outside a container,whatever is inside say a cupboard,start decaying when loading that region,hence why so many food at like 80% hundreds of days in,if you didnt step in that region.thats my theory at least.
It seems inconsistent though. Some items show their condition status (ruined) before you inspect them, others don't. It just seems a little buggy to me haha
I love Milton for all the decorations you can grab for safehouse customisation... Toy tractors and one of the teddy's and slushy cups 😂 ...yeah I'm loving the new system the days are just full even though I've finished all the tales and trader quests and 100% discovered the world ...randomly checked my stats and on day 460 on gunloper without even realising it 😂 I'm a very happy camper
Nah HRV is the goat .. best start region by far for loper if you know the map you will always leave with all your starter tools , a tonne of cattails and chance of mackinaw and combat pants all in first few days .. but if you don't know maps you will get lost and die

I haven't had the suitcase bug happen to me ... Ive had three in camp office for over 400 days and stuff hasnt dissapeared or random stuff appear ... Must just be a random bug in your save

The key is always in the truck, in the tractor, or on the body in the area.

And yeah, things don't start deteriorating until you enter the zone the 1st time (I think).
