The “roll hands forward”, one of the best tips ever. Almost caught bar in the throat, it was so close on a clean, it felt amazing. Keep those pointers coming. Great work on the channel.
Really appreciate the way Kristi instructed through this video. Kept it concise with common mistakes and tips for correction, all the while being honest and real with the daily struggle of self-improvement. Awesome!
I just did that snatch warm-up complex for the first time yesterday. It was a great way to warm-up. I got my first snatch in the books and I ready to gradually/safely increase with weight. I am going to try keeping the knuckles down to engage my lats more! Thanks again!
Hey, just want to say thanks for the tip about “turning your wrist/thumb” for the snatch! I tried it and it definitely helped to engaged my lats and turning over the bar…🤙🤙 Mahalo…
Kristi Eramo It’s a must! 🥰 Totally a representation of your personality! Keep up the amazing work Kristi!! 💪🏼 You and Patrick are my fav! Oh and Milo of course! 🏹💕 🐶
Always fancied the idea of CrossFit but knew it would highlight my severe lack of mobility! Really enjoying your videos as they are making me work on my weaknesses and I’m enjoying my training again! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks again for the Snatch Tip, will use it tomorrow as we have Below the knee Pause Squat Snatch. Was so AWESOME to see that Milo made it to the gym today.
I'm just finishing my exams after more than a year, and I'm about to start working out again. Your videos are helping me hugely to prepare myself when I get back in a couple weeks time!!!
Thanks for all the tips in this video. They've really helped me improve my form and has allowed me to lift more weight! Snatches aren't my favorite movement, but ive definitely gotten a lot better.
I watched this video today... =) Trust me, my only advice is don't post anything that might get you into trouble with people you don't know, just keep working on your WOD, tips, and your personal (i mean your really personal life, not others life) and you will be safe from haters and your channel will grow. There are too many birds in the wire.
Another great vlog. I know that you offer programs, but would it possible to provide a bit more detail about each program? For example, if your weakness is shoulder focus, which program would be best? For me, I struggle with upper body strength which is a limiter for pull/push ups, toes to bar, etc. Thanks 😊
Absolutely! One program is everything what I do! The strength program is geared towards compound and stabilizer movements. Strict work, and any banded work you see in our VLOGs!
I absolutely LOVE your videos! Getting to watch your badassery AND learn tips/tricks on movements from you is awesome! 💪🏋️ But can we please talk about the soundtrack you have in all your videos?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hello Kristi, my name is Blanca. By accident I was introduced to CrossFit through UA-cam. Watching athletes like you, Toomey, and the Dottirs I got super motivated. I have so many questions. I saw some of the athletes wrap their arms with some kind of rubber strap or bandage (I don't know) before doing power snatches. Would you be able to tell me what is the purpose of it? what are the advantages of doing that? Thank you.
Started CrossFit last September. Still modifying some of the work outs. But I find that I’m so much weaker on my right side. For instance we had step ups and it was my first time using a bigger box. I had such difficulty getting up using my right foot, I rolled over and fell. But left side is strong. Same for lunges too. How should I strengthen my right side so I won’t have this weakness issue and cause an injury by falling. Btw I am right handed.
Thanks for the tip on "rolling hands forward". Will definitely try this queue on my next snatch practice. I have a question tho, at the point of the triple extension, are you smashing the bar with your hips to get bar up or are you "hoisting" the bar upwards as the bar travels towards your hips. I'm one for the later but I just would like to know which you prefer cause your form is flawless
The bar is naturally coming in contact with my hips since it is so close to it! Im not smashing it on purpose, but keeping my lats tight so when it does hit it won't push it out!
Great job with the workout. Great job with he Strict Pull-Ups especially with the weighted. Is it hard to do the Strict Pulls with the weights? I have done Strict Pull-Ups with a 20# weighted vest & found it to be very difficult. Great job with your snatch technique. Why do you look forward while you snatch? Don't you look forward when you just Deaadlift? I always thought you look forward when you just Deadlift. Why do the knuckles have to be turned down? I thought the knuckles had to be the same as when you do the clean. Should I still sweat if you had to do a AMRAP 20 of 20 Pistols, 15 T2B and 10 HPC @ 115#
Any tips for forearm/grip issues?? I stretch and use tens and massage gun on them but my grip is always something to give out first. Been an issue for years.
I planned on using my tax return to add a new piece of equipment to the garage gym. With limited space, which would you suggest between the rower, eco bike or bike erg? Would love the trueform but that's a little too pricey. Still digging the workout tips and especially the warmup demos.
Great instruction, love the labels highlighting body positioning in the videos. Just wondering what video editing software you are using to make these cool clips.
Was the dips/pull-ups EMOM workout done in 10 minutes or 20 minutes? Because I just did it body weight only in 10 minutes after speed bench and I’m seeing stars right now...
I wish they had a wider bar, I have such a hard time with the snatch because I have a 83" wing spand! My hands all the way to the collars and I have to almost shrug my shoulders up to get the bar in my hip crease! :(
First one of your videos I couldn't watch 😭 dislocated my shoulder on Friday while snatching. What's the chances 🤦🏻♂️. Still amazing and inspiring videos though 👍🏻
"yummy!"👍 the pull ups with additional weight, push ups on the parallel bars... 11: 35 am I getting it right? after this complex there is a threat to give birth?😂 I looked at Snatch and sighed...I continue to work with band for my shoulder)))

Is holding the kettle bell like that a thing ? 👀 like is that how you find what weight works for you ?
We call it a KB Tater! Kind of fun! Not sure its a thing or not but our gym loves it!

We use the c2 bike erg for warm ups and long days, 4-5 times a week. But also am starting to love the echo bike!
Awesome Vid.💪🏻💯

10 min total for pull ups, then 10 min total for dips !
Great tips as always. Wanted to ask if you have some tips or accessory work that would help with nagging knee pain that CrossFiters usually deal with.
Hi, check out my BUILD video for banded squats!
Great tips. Thank you. Not sure why people would give the video a thumbs down lol people are silly
Thank you for the support!

Wow! That is a huge wingspan!
Kristi Eramo you can see how ridiculous it is lol. ua-cam.com/video/nZWuK86S0Rw/v-deo.html
I am def guilty of pulling to early! Usually I get to my thigh and end up chasing the bar lol! Thanks for the tip!
Awesome. Glad you could take something from it. Keep pulling!
Dan get off your phone!!!! 02:56 :) Love the teaching videos.
Dan wasn't impressed with what I was doing.... ha
I just have to ask...how do you crank out a video a day? It's super impressive. Love the content.
We have a great team!
Great camera work ... is Pat doing it?
Its a guy from our gym. His Instagram is in the bio!
Great tips. Anyone know that song that was playing while she did the class work out
I can check that out!
What is the 90/90 "bottoms up" kettle-bell carry supposed to help with???
I am working on my wrist stability and using my Serratus/lat instead of my anterior Delt to support my shoulder!
Kristi Eramo what does the serratus/lat engagement translate into or help with? Strengthen a position in a lift?
What is your body fat percentage?

Overhead squat I can do just 5 reps and empty barbell (20kg).
This is very hard for me🙁🙁🙁

Work that mobility!!
I really wanna try this but I’m sure I’ll end up hurting myself lol
