    The “roll hands forward”, one of the best tips ever. Almost caught bar in the throat, it was so close on a clean, it felt amazing. Keep those pointers coming. Great work on the channel.

    I just did that snatch warm-up complex for the first time yesterday. It was a great way to warm-up. I got my first snatch in the books and I ready to gradually/safely increase with weight. I am going to try keeping the knuckles down to engage my lats more! Thanks again!

    Hey, just want to say thanks for the tip about “turning your wrist/thumb” for the snatch! I tried it and it definitely helped to engaged my lats and turning over the bar…🤙🤙

    Trust me, my only advice is don't post anything that might get you into trouble with people you don't know, just keep working on your WOD, tips, and your personal (i mean your really personal life, not others life) and you will be safe from haters and your channel will grow. There are too many birds in the wire.

    Another great vlog. I know that you offer programs, but would it possible to provide a bit more detail about each program? For example, if your weakness is shoulder focus, which program would be best? For me, I struggle with upper body strength which is a limiter for pull/push ups, toes to bar, etc. Thanks 😊

    • @Kristi-Eramo-OConnell
      @Kristi-Eramo-OConnell  5 років тому +1

      Absolutely! One program is everything what I do! The strength program is geared towards compound and stabilizer movements. Strict work, and any banded work you see in our VLOGs!

    Hello Kristi, my name is Blanca. By accident I was introduced to CrossFit through UA-cam. Watching athletes like you, Toomey, and the Dottirs I got super motivated. I have so many questions. I saw some of the athletes wrap their arms with some kind of rubber strap or bandage (I don't know) before doing power snatches. Would you be able to tell me what is the purpose of it? what are the advantages of doing that? Thank you.

    Started CrossFit last September. Still modifying some of the work outs. But I find that I’m so much weaker on my right side. For instance we had step ups and it was my first time using a bigger box. I had such difficulty getting up using my right foot, I rolled over and fell. But left side is strong. Same for lunges too. How should I strengthen my right side so I won’t have this weakness issue and cause an injury by falling. Btw I am right handed.

    Thanks for the tip on "rolling hands forward". Will definitely try this queue on my next snatch practice. I have a question tho, at the point of the triple extension, are you smashing the bar with your hips to get bar up or are you "hoisting" the bar upwards as the bar travels towards your hips. I'm one for the later but I just would like to know which you prefer cause your form is flawless

    • @Kristi-Eramo-OConnell
      @Kristi-Eramo-OConnell  5 років тому +1

      The bar is naturally coming in contact with my hips since it is so close to it! Im not smashing it on purpose, but keeping my lats tight so when it does hit it won't push it out!

    Great job with the workout. Great job with he Strict Pull-Ups especially with the weighted. Is it hard to do the Strict Pulls with the weights? I have done Strict Pull-Ups with a 20# weighted vest & found it to be very difficult. Great job with your snatch technique. Why do you look forward while you snatch? Don't you look forward when you just Deaadlift? I always thought you look forward when you just Deadlift. Why do the knuckles have to be turned down? I thought the knuckles had to be the same as when you do the clean. Should I still sweat if you had to do a AMRAP 20 of 20 Pistols, 15 T2B and 10 HPC @ 115#

    • @Kristi-Eramo-OConnell
      @Kristi-Eramo-OConnell  5 років тому +1

    I planned on using my tax return to add a new piece of equipment to the garage gym. With limited space, which would you suggest between the rower, eco bike or bike erg? Would love the trueform but that's a little too pricey. Still digging the workout tips and especially the warmup demos.
