    @HappyMushrooms Hey, mate. Tnx for this video. I plan to basically buy an identical autoclave. Can you, plase, tell me how much water you you fill in the autoclave when you are sterilizing grain spawn? The bags/jars are above the later level, right?

    Thanks...was wondering this exact thing. Do you know if claves are temp regulated or just pressure regulated? I don't want to insulate too much and cause an issue with the heating element. Also, love the fruiting timelapse background you use...very nice!

      I had a horrible china version... which had NO CONTROL at all... I had to program my power suply to keep it at 15 PSI. My autoclave got temperature control (it got a hole for a temperature sensor, works great). I guess most of the cheap version (200 USD) work with pressure control. Is there a specific model you want to buy?

      @@HappyMushrooms Thanks! I'm still planning my small build out so I've not narrowed down what I want to use or even the process I'll follow. A proper autoclave might be down the road but at this stage I was wondering if I could do some kind of temp monitoring/control using an induction compatible unit like the 23 Q Presto 01784. I have a portable induction plate that allows me some mobility but I've not looked into the power draw on a canning/pressure unit like this just yet. I live at about 2k meters so I also need to research how that impacts pressure sterilization Thanks for your helpful and beautiful content.

    Just discovered your channel this morning, really nice! Just a question, you speak about mastermix, is it easy in Austria to find hardwood pellets? Here in Switzerland it's almost impossible, only softwood pellets . Thank you :)

    Hey mate! I just saw your channel and subscribed! You’re doing pretty good job 👏
    Could you please advice as per your experience a best budget option for a pressure cooker suitable for substrate sterilisation up to 5 gallons? I will appreciate it! 🙏

    Do you think one could use one of those autoclaves (i hope it's what it is called) sterilisers that are used for pasteurisation of preservations?

    Hi , hab den selben Autoklav nur nicht stainless und größer. Sag mal, bei mir brennen die Tüten voll oft weg in dem Ding. Wie hast du das Problem behoben? LG

    • @HappyMushrooms
      @HappyMushrooms  Рік тому

      Moin, bei welcher temperatur nutzt du ihn denn und mit welchen tüten? Bei mir ist immer alles io bis 124°C. Hab mal bratschläuche versucht... das war keine gute Idee... die waren danach weg, der autoklav dafür voll mit Mische...^^

    • @ChippyTrance
      @ChippyTrance Рік тому +1

      Also ich benutz Unicorn bags und maximal 121. Ich habe das Gefühl weil mein Autoklav so hoch ist braucht er so lange bis oben die Temperatur ankommt und unten ist derweil die Temperatur so hoch dass die Tüten zerbersten. Ich werde mir wohl demnächst denselben Autoklaven holen wie oak and spore und mach dann alles im Autoklaven von spawn bis bulk...

      Hast du öl in der Temperaturöffnung? Sonst misst das Termometer falsch und in Wirklichkeit ist es deutlich heißer (wobei du das natürlich auch am Druck sehen würdest...)

    I just have a question. What happens if i insulate an epoxy coated autoclave which has only pressure control. Whether epoxy coat itself gives an insulation to autovlave. ?

    I know you said that you don’t really recommend this Autoklave. But when money up to 1k€ isn’t too important, would you then say that this autoklave is a good choice?

    • @HappyMushrooms
      @HappyMushrooms  Рік тому

      it is BUT the opening is pretty tight... you really should consider this. When you plan to use bigger bags this wont be the best choice.

    Hi, just wanted to ask how much Celsius set you on your AutoClave because i have the same and for me 121c seems too high.
