I think mentioning the importance of buying tomatoes in a bpa free can is important, oats should always be organic due to high levels of roundup found in outs, and cut veggies develop bacteria once the veggie is cut in the pre cut bags.. these details make a huge difference

That is also why I recently ordered, and got my first juicer, through *QVC,* which is a *Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer/w attachments.* I love it, and wished I had ordered said juicer years ago. It cuts the oxidization even when I cut up certain whole fruits and vegetables. I also got said juicer because I am picky when it comes to certain fruits and vegetables and because I have digestive issues, as well. Three kitchen appliances I got from/through *QVC* are, *Vitamix blender* (I've had for two years), a *10-in-one Kaloric pressure cooker* (that I've had for a month, and the *Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer/w attachments* that I got two days ago. Today, I will be buying more apples and or carrots for my juicer. I will be using my juicer to juice vegetables and or fruits to use as liquid seasoning instead of using plain water for my pressure cooker, and stop using *"regular"* salt/sugar.

I bought his book “The Campbell Plan” and his cook book..I’ve been trying to eat healthy for 20 years, I had it half right, Being that heart disease runs high in my family and lucky me I ended up with the double bad genes. So my cardiologist increased my statins and here I thought I was going to hear good news, like reducing. I knew that if I had a steady healthy plan, I was sure my numbers will go down. Started researching and found Dr. Campbell’s books. I never was into meat, a little chicken here and there, but I had to find something better, I knew there was a healthier way to eat..So many foods are so tempting out there , but unless you want to go through having a bypass, at an early age, like I have, you just have to hang in there. Next is to take his online courses…

We've been WFPBNO for over 2 years now & I absolutely cannot use one of those handheld baskets. lol I get the big cart & it is 3/4 full before I leave the produce section. Toss in a couple unsweetened almond milks (careful, many of the plant milks have oil), some whole grain pasta, brown rice (tho we do sometimes eat jasmine), dried beans, whole grain bread, frozen fruit & veggies & we're done.
I can buy so many things I usta think I couldn't afford since I no longer buy meat! TVP (from Amazon cuz I can't get it locally) is another staple for faux joes (sloppy joe), no-beefaroni, veggie lasagna & more & silken tofu online for faux sour cream, mayo, ricotta, and creamy pasta sauce. Fresh squeezed lemon is hands-down the best salad dressing.
It's more about learning new cooking techniques than about poring over recipes (there are a lot of BAD redicpes out there lol) And I had to upgrade my cookware.
But we're never going back. It's now a lifestyle & not a diet. My husband had a 100% blockage and another 50% & we opted for this over bypass. But the difference it's made in him, me AND our 37 year old daughter with disabilities is profound. We've all lost weight, all have more energy, all just feel better in general. I had been diagnosed with Graves' disease in 2017 but earlier this year my bloodwork was perfect all the way around! Husband has no data for his arteries but he's off all meds & extremely active around our homestead.

Just a heads up about oatmeal. I enjoy overnight with fruits and seeds. I need to take care of my heart so I'm doing a whole food plant-based diet to the best of my ability. having seen a lot of videos on how good oatmeal is for one I did some more research and found out that oatmeal is sprayed with pesticides that includes Quaker oat products ... All their oat products and Cheerios she named the ones that I saw on the list. So I was looking for oats that were not sprayed with round up or whatever of their poisons they're using and no GM ones.
So let me ask, are there any safe boats out there at all to be had for the consumer.?

    • @Cindy-bee
      @Cindy-bee 4 роки тому +2

Minahh yes I also watched a segment on best oats and Quaker was off the list. Thank you for pointing that out. Mind boggling how much we are being duped and poisoned. We also have to watch for genetically altered product which is sold in grocery chains. You think you are doing the right thing with fresh fruits and vegetables only to find the food industry messing with them to alter the nutritional value and safety.

I think this is "less" of a problem than it once was as this is all out in the open now, However, my best advice is buy only Organic if you are concerned and/or find a small organic supplier/farm and order in bulk from them, there are a few selling on Amazon for example. BUT make no mistake although this should be considered the doctors major point in this video is to get people to eat the right foods first then work your way to these type of details.. IE: its still MUCH healther to eat the standard not so good oats than to eat Cheerios that have sugar and other things added..

Can one Pre d type 2 go on Vegan Vegetarian plus on OMAD to reverse Pre d type 2?
If yes, take how long the time periods ?
    The equation result shall be:
    OMAD + VEGAN VEGETARIAN
+ how many days or months or years ?
    = HBA1c < 5.4
Purpose: to reverse early Pre d type 2
Important point: early Pre d type 2, do not take any kind of medicines or japs at all

Rice and beans. You can buy cheap veggies and even wraps. Pasta and tomato sauce. Oats. You can do it!!

If you are only shopping once a month, stick with frozen fruits and vegetables- they last the whole month and don't go bad. Apples and potatoes- however- last the whole month in the crisper drawer of your fridge. If you have an Ocean State Job Lot nearby, you can find some wonderful whole-grain corn pasta that is much cheaper than the stuff you get in regular markets. Lots of great spices there too, vegetable broths for steaming your rice in, and different rice mixes- but you must look carefully for it.

I love the idea but I think he’s trying to be helpful but you definitely don’t ever wanna buy pre-chopped I know it’s more convenient but unfortunately it loses so much more of the nutrition by already breaking it up and pre-shopping yet it might’ve sent that package for days or weeks so forgo the convenience and shop at yourself fresh yo preserve a lot more of the nutritional value

Why is this guy saying canned vegetables are OK? Forget the salt content. If it's in a can sitting on a shelf, that means it's full of artificial preservatives.

Our ancestors, including my mother, "canned" foods from their gardens to preserve it, frequently in glass jars, but it was still called canning. The process depends on heating the food, in the container, to kill off microorganisms and then sealing the container so that nothing can get in. My parents also raised chickens and canned them in actual cans but that was before my time. There are still lots of people in the world who can their own food, without any preservatives of any kind.

Yikes! Tomato sauce or tomato in a can is a very poor option. The acid in the product further leaches BPA from the can, more than other canned goods. ALL food in cans must be avoided, organic too!!

A poor option compared to purchasing sause or tomatoes in glass jars.
The best choice is making your own. A whole year's worth of sauce can be prepared and jared in one day.

This is one of the funniest health videos I'v ever watched, quite entertaining to watch a Vegan showing you what to shop for at the Supermarket. To summarise what he basically said; don't don't stay away, be carful, no, no, no, in every single isle he walked. Such an amazing Supermarket and yet he just bought some greens with no name and some Oat. What on earth happened to the shoppers? Then ran!
People, your body is not that simple, it is build to cleanse you 24 hours a day and take what you need and throw away what you don't need and that is why you Poop and don't tell me vegans are so healthy that they don't poop anymore.

Two years ago (how time flies), I invested in a *Vitamix blender* through *QVC.* I also ordered a *10-in-one pressure cooker* a month ago, and recently got (two days ago) my first juicer, which is a *Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer/w attachments* through QVC, as well. The reason I got those products is because of my declined health, and because I am very picky when it comes to certain fruits and vegetables, and don't eat/drink enough fruits and vegetables like I should. Hence why I am still feeling fatigued, and I don't go out much, nor exercise like I used to. Today, I will be buying more carrots and or apples for my *Kuvings Slow Juicer.*

Do you have heavy periods? I have problems with my iron because of this condition. No matter how healthy I eat I still have this condition and lose a lot of iron each month. Perhaps you need to take iron supplements? Only if you have low iron. Go to the doctor. It is good to get a test. It is the most common vitamin deficiency in the world. I am trying to eat low fat(10-15%) to reduce my heavy period to normal. Although, I am still eating whole food plant based. Hopefully you feel better eating more vegetables. Good luck
