Echoing (no pun intended) what others have been saying, such better audio and video quality! So nice to watch now. Looking forward to watching this format in the future to find out about the sweet products you guys are producing. Keep it up! :)
I am awaiting mine from HH ! Always Amazing Planes from HH ! Love the Color! And the Size of the Control Surface! Thanks for including SAFE ! I know will enjoy mine New Timber X !
Thank You for updating this video. This is a much better representation of your international multi-million dollar company. Very nice airplane also. The bottom load batteries cause too much hanger rash.
Love the new Q&A video can finally hear you guys. And just a heads up the Zippy compact 4s 3700mah is smaller than their 3200mah gets longer flight time and is lighter as well. Even the Zippy compact 4s 5000 fits in there and balances I prefer the Spectrum 2200 4S smart battery because that one is light and it's awesome for 3D but the other ones are great for you and when you're on a budget and you want to get more flights in and not spend an arm and a leg on batteries literally only 25 bucks a piece. Been using them for years and ducted fan jets with much more amp draw with no issues at all.
Love the plane, The only issue i have is that on maiden flight with 3S the rod came loose out of the elevator? Now i am worried to even try it with 4S battery any suggestions on different servo linkage for this plane?
Jason where would you recommend the CG for the best 3D capability? Like on the flight video what were the pilots using for their CG? I've only been able to get mine back to 85mm it's been great for everything but hovering so far which I think my CG is to nose heavy.
I have not flown in 15 years . . . I used to do low fly-by inverted passes (caveat: only practiced left to right pattern low invert. . . never learned right to left . . .) Anywas, you think I can get back into flying by using Timber X? thx
Check out Tower Hobbies easy pay upay three separate payments within three months no interest or bull I use it all the time otherwise I wouldn't be able to get some of the planes that I get. It would only cost you $88 a month and you can also get some batteries on easy pay as well. It's not by any means a beginner playing but with the safe technology it makes it easier but you would really want somebody there to help you trimming out a plane and getting it up the first time and landing and taking off is what you going to bite you in the but. That's the hardest part with that said if you got some hours of flight simulator time then you shouldn't have no trouble.
Very cool airplane! Love how it looks on the ground as well as up in the air. I finally took mine out for a spin yesterday, we finally have had nice enough weather to fly. Unfortunately I need to figure out how to straighten the tail wheel so that the airplane will track straight on take-off and landing. I hate that it wants to turn right on the ground and if I compensate it flies briefly to the left once it's up in the air.
Those ailerons and flaps are absolutely humongous!!! I just ordered one and I’m waiting for it to arrive but I think I am absolutely in love with the size of the flaps in Ailerons
I currently have a case open with Horizon and they've been responsive, but the Timber x I just bought has servos that don't return to center/neutral (unless I do it with stick). All3 control surfaces do it, but rudder is the worst and most noticeable. Tried a different spektrum tx, different spektrum rx, and no change. Tried new servos and that helped and made it flyable but it still kinda does it. Anyone else have this? I think they're sending me new servos.
Looks Great! Bottom load naysayers, seems like it would difficult and have negative effects to make it top load. Just bring a small assembly stand like the one EF sells.
Excelent ! I realy like the fact that we can use both wings on both planes ! Then I can use the original timber wings with the slats glued on to have my STOL capabilities and just buy the new wings to have a little more fun when I want !
Cool! The beefed up electronics make up for the lack of floats and since the original Timber wing can bolt on to this model, Timber X is the one i think id get.
I know right I was thinking about getting the turbo Timber wing or the regular Timber wing and swap it for those stickers that way I can use the longer wing for when I want to cruise around and get more flight time and put the timber X Wing back on when I want to fly more aggressive and also I would like to get the stickers to put on the timber floats that way it matches my Timber X. I've seen some people do it so I'm sure they sell the stickers somewhere or you can have Callie graphics print them out for you
I think you have to have a SpeKKRum transmitter if you go with the BNF. For example, i have a FlySky transmitter, i would very much doubt that it would bind up with the included receiver in the Bind-N-Fly model since the receiver that's pre-installed in the TIMBER-X BNF version is made by SpekkRum.
Have you all ever thought about releasing these new planes in RealFlight 8 for a small fee, as a way to demo them? With that in mind, make a Hall Bulldog, RF8 has made me want one badly.
Yes you can you can bind it to any Spectrum bind and fly or any Spectrum receiver and you can load a bunch of models on your radio as well says it right on the manual. A lot of people throw build manuals away from their airplanes that's fine but and then you on the radio is something you should definitely read. With that said have a happy Fourth of July
I bought the Turbo a month ago and it flies like a dream! And now that the tax returns are around the corner (at least up here in Norway it is) I think I might have to get the X as well 🤔
I know you don't but you would have to buy the Plug and Play version and put your own receiver in it. But then you won't get the as3x and safe technology that's built into their receivers. And depending what radio you have it might have a Jr Port where you can get a dsmx module for the back of it and bind directly to it next time you post a question like that post which radio you have.
Get a plane stand then it's a piece of cake to blow the battery. Seriously it's not a deal-breaker for me this thing performs better than any stole airplane out there not to mention it Rivals some of the very good 3D planes as well
Guess what, this is my first plane and I have done very well once in the air safe is turned off and it’s loops rolls and high speed passes. This is all thank to the AS3X If I get into a bind I’ll use safe and to land I’ll use safe. I fly mine only on 3s 2200. This plane is very beginner friendly.
Audio good! Video good! Timber X is awesome too! Thanks for listening Horizon.
Mark Dibble Amen!
Nice.. it's patent pending baby...
pro tip: you can watch movies at Kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Barrett Frederick Yup, have been watching on Kaldrostream for years myself =)

Cool plane, probably my favourite - when are you guys going to treat us to a Timber Bipe?
I am awaiting mine from HH ! Always Amazing Planes from HH ! Love the Color! And the Size of the Control Surface! Thanks for including SAFE !
I know will enjoy mine New Timber X !

Well said
I couldn't have said it better myself! 👍

JAAASSSSSOOOOOONNNN!!! Dont make me... 😛 lol
I've always wanted a STOL plane and this looks perfect! Definitely getting one
I have not flown in 15 years . . . I used to do low fly-by inverted passes (caveat: only practiced left to right pattern low invert. . . never learned right to left . . .) Anywas, you think I can get back into flying by using Timber X? thx
Yes, especially if you buy the BNF Basic version and utilize SAFE Select just in case :)
A quality video, for a quality product.
MUCH BETTER!!
Would you recommend this plane to a beginner pilot? I don’t have the budget to purchase the apprentice and then the timber. Thanks.

So, can you run split flaps and safe mode from the AS3X receiver even though it is only 6 channel?
Awesome video, i cant wait to get mine and get her in the air.
Those ailerons and flaps are absolutely humongous!!! I just ordered one and I’m waiting for it to arrive but I think I am absolutely in love with the size of the flaps in Ailerons
The fact you can also sync the flaps to move with the ailerons when they aren't down that's insane
Now I want one.Thanks.

How do I set the flaperons on the NX6 since I can't find 1 ali 2 flap?
Excelent ! I realy like the fact that we can use both wings on both planes ! Then I can use the original timber wings with the slats glued on to have my STOL capabilities and just buy the new wings to have a little more fun when I want !

Dumb question at roughly the 24:04 mark he mentioned being able to do things with what sounded like CRO, what is that ?
Great video guys! Any tips and/or stories of a flaperon setup on the Timber X/Night X? Can't wait for Timber X Evolution ;)
Alright serious question will you guys sell the decale sheet for the timber X. I would love to put those decals on my regular timber...👍👍
Great work! Love the Timber X! :)
How difficult is it to configure with a Futaba radio?
Does the BNF version work with multi-protocol transmitters like Jumper TSG8?
I think you have to have a SpeKKRum transmitter if you go with the BNF. For example, i have a FlySky transmitter, i would very much doubt that it would bind up with the included receiver in the Bind-N-Fly model since the receiver that's pre-installed in the TIMBER-X BNF version is made by SpekkRum.
Wonder if for ix12 users there is a way to download the preset of the new planes
I see the Camera has been upgraded to Potato 2.0. Ha thanks for the follow up video guys. When will it be shipping?
Potentially later this week (01/25). If not, they should go out first thing next week.
Have you all ever thought about releasing these new planes in RealFlight 8 for a small fee, as a way to demo them? With that in mind, make a Hall Bulldog, RF8 has made me want one badly.
You mentioned using a 14x7 propeller for 3S batteries. What specific brand of propeller do you recommend.
We typically recommend APC brand "E" (for "Electric") series propellers :)
Ahh much better audio 😁
Thanks for listening 👍🏻.
What a cool Timber.
🙃🙃👍🏻👍🏻
Hey. I bought a dx6 with receiver, can I still bind the controller to the pnp airplane?
Yes you can you can bind it to any Spectrum bind and fly or any Spectrum receiver and you can load a bunch of models on your radio as well says it right on the manual. A lot of people throw build manuals away from their airplanes that's fine but and then you on the radio is something you should definitely read. With that said have a happy Fourth of July

How do you like the turbo Timber? Is it capable of hanging on the prop and Mild 3D?
at 13:59 can someone link the 4S 3200 that they speak of at that point in this video. It's not in the above links and thanks in advance !!!!!
You can find that battery here- www.horizonhobby.com/product/14.8v-2200mah-4s-100c-smart-lipo-battery-ic3/SPMX22004S100.html
@@HorizonHobbyProducts -- your link was only the 2200 , not the 3200
Floats work great on snow. That’s what I do with my apprentice s 15e
Can you or someone link me to the FLoats that work on this TIMBER X ? THANKS SO MUCH !!!
Newbie here, do you have to have a spectrum radio?
I know you don't but you would have to buy the Plug and Play version and put your own receiver in it. But then you won't get the as3x and safe technology that's built into their receivers. Decent audio, thank you. Battery on the bottom, why oh why?

cool plane, i have a few UMX timbers.
His hair looks like a baseball cap.
It is a good plane once your trainer has to much glue to any longer fly
😁
where are t he wings mark R anf L like to know to glue the slats on
you should make a solid axle monster truck
Very Nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Guess what, this is my first plane and I have done very well once in the air safe is turned off and it’s loops rolls and high speed passes. This is all thank to the AS3X If I get into a bind I’ll use safe and to land I’ll use safe. I fly mine only on 3s 2200. This plane is very beginner friendly.
Maybe consider making a umx version
Nice video
The next plane to be added to my Corel I have to have one😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎
