Tasmania 17 Snug to Richmond

Part 17 of 33 of a road trip from Brisbane to Tasmania, returning via Victoria's Great Ocean Road, Central Victoria, Great Alpine Road and Canberra.
We drove back through Hobart on our way to Richmond but did some touring on the way. We called at the Margate train, a shopping centre based on the engine and cars of the express train that ran between Hobart and Launceston. Then on to the Shot Tower where lead balls for muskets where made by dropping lead from the top of the tower.
After leaving Hobart we spent some time looking around the Richmond area before touring the town, taking in the famous bridge and the convict prison precincts. There are many historic buildings in Richmond. We stayed in town overnight.
