Hi Marnie, I found your channel about a year ago I’m 72 and live in Deep South Texas, I am a breast cancer survivor almost 20 years and I chose a bilateral mastectomy I was so happy to see Avia from Walmart carries the workout razorback tops that have the slits for my prosthetic forms. I have lost 63 pounds over the past 3 years low carb and working out with hand weights . I appreciate all your videos. I watch your friend LisaD
Congratulations on your weight loss! I'm 60 and struggling with that right now. I'm a social worker in an oncology unit and it's nice to hear from a survivor. Wishing you the best in all things. ❤
Congratulations on being cancer free! I am getting a lumpectomy tomorrow. I hope to avoid chemo, but testing will decide. This N Texan wishes you continued good health. ❤
@@scrappylifter8318good luck. I just completed lumpectomy, and radiation, only to find out I have BRA2, pls get genetic council information. I have no family history of this.
Thank you for turning me onto Walmart and Maurice’s. During my weight loss journey, I’ve enjoyed your videos for “won’t break the bank” fashion ideas. Down 72 (yahoo me) with another 24 to go. Do miss Chicos.
Hi, Marnie, I've been following you for a while and just wanted to say how much I admire your intelligent, focused, logical, and well-paced professional presentation style. I also appreciate your respectful consideration of all fashion budgets. You are so lovely- I'm in disbelief that you are 51- I thought you were 30-35 years old! Please keep doing what you're doing.
I bought the denim dress in Free Assembly. They were out of my medium size online and when they made it to my store I was sad to see my size sold out ..but wait! I was walking out and noticed the dress on a mannequin and, yes, I was the crazy lady that asked them to check the size and they were kind enough to take it off and sell it to me because it was a medium! I LOVE this dress! Also, I love your channel! Love that you don't promote cropped (I'm 48 and I don't think my ship was ever in with that style! Lol). Thank you for your content!! You always knock it out of the park.❤️
Your channel is my go to for fashion. I have ordered another item you suggested the mongolian cashmere tee to replace a pink short sleeved tee I have worn for YEARS where the underarms are stained. I can't wait to receive it. I'll let you know how I like it.
Thank you Marnie for giving us all the great trends heading into Fall. They are all so classic and never go out of style. Also great price points. Have a blessed day! ❤
Hi Marnie, I love Mommies, Make up, and Moscato! I follow Lisa but don't look at her very often. It's great that you have good friends on UA-cam! Love your channel! You keep me updated with style.
I wondered about other options for green and white sneakers and did a Google search. Tons available in every price point so I went to my old favorite - Amazon and also a ton of options. I can't wait to wear them with the polyester cordoroy straight leg pants which I will probably have to hem. My days of higher heels is long gone. I liked the idea of polyester lightweight cordoroy since I moved from Michigan to Kentucky to find warmer weather. Love your videos and have watched you for many years. I hope your eye health gets under control very soon.
Hi Marni, I thank you.. I have purchased thanks to your outstanding helpful reviews: The Jean dress structured from Walmart, the Avara white puffy sleeve cable front top, the Amazon summer striped dress with pockets . I just want to thank you for your honesty and educationally inspiring advice. Also thank you for your forthright opinions on Adidas. Our consumer dollars are our voice. Early Happy Rosh Hashanah. May you and your loved ones be inscribed for a good year ahead!
I can't stop watching your videos now that I accidentally found you on You Tube a couple of months ago! I've already bought so many items, from clothes to travel & tech suggestions; thank you for the various mixes and price points! I enjoyed seeing your Vermont trip today and thinking about fall outfits when it ever cools down in the south!
I love seeing the lovely new clothes you find, but I can't justify buying anything at this point because I have way too many clothes, shoes, makeup, and accessories. Interesting to watch but I'm finished buying.
“Button down” is the name for the shirt that has little buttons to hold the corners of the collar down. That style was trendy in the ‘80s and women started wearing them. Polo made them popular.

I’ve been wearing eyelet for years every spring and summer!! My grandma made me a beautiful white eyelet dress back in the 70s. My favorite for decades hard to find many years ago not anymore
Thankyou for telling us about Cirkul..I will look into it, since I have a problem with drinking water...My husband will love this product for me, since he knows I don't drink enough water. With this extreme heat we are experiencing in Texas, I need to drink more water. Love the green color on you...Pretty shade of green. Have been watching your videos for a long time now, since I am in my sixties. You have really helped me with the fashions of today. Thankyou..😊 Much love your way...Pamela, ❤, from somewhere in Texas.
Great fashions Marnie! If you haven't already tried them, check out the Margot Mary Janes by Vivaia in Ruby Red. I wore them with a black midi dress and received plus plus compliments. They are square toe with a little v in the front and are super super comfortable. True to size and you don't need to undo the strap in the middle. You can simply slip your foot into them. They come in other colors if red is not your thing.
I love all the fall videos coming out. I live in Canada and I know cooler temps are just around the corner and I can’t wait! I have some new sweaters and a couple coats I can’t wait to wear
Wowza Marnie, what an awesome video! All Fabulous items! I’ve said it before but You Are an awesome stylist for all of us & give great options to fit whatever budget we may have. Thank you lovely lady😘
Hi Marnie. I could of cried when you described how blue jean skirts fit. I literally just tried on the cutest one from Amazon. I came out to ask my family if it was too tight. They said no until I turned around. Lol It was so tight in the butt. I tried pulling higher and lower but it just didn't fit. I did order the next size up to try. It'll be here Tuesday but I don't hold out much hope. I do need lose a few pounds but your words made me feel better. Thank you for all your great videos.
I bought the no boundaries sneaker in the burgundy and I sized them down a half size, so instead of a 6 1/2, I went with a six. Perfect! They remind me of traditional (retro) style sneakers! I love them. A nice way to bring in a touch of burgundy or red to your outfit!❤
I'm surprised you didn't mention vests? I'm seeing them everywhere....denim, fine knit, classic...they'd definitely fall into several of your categories 😊 Love this style video. Thank you ❤
I’m surprised, too. None of the influencers I watch consistently have embraced the vests. I still remember my most beloved outfit in the late 70’s. It was a hunter green turtle neck sweater, a green tweed vest and matching green tweed (midi) culottes. I wore knee-high black boots and felt very stylish.
Marnie drops a video= I squeeeeel, drop everything, smile and take a deep breath *knowing* this means we are having a shopping day! 😂 LOVE your style! Thank you for taking the time to share all these amazing finds….video after video you ROCK!!! תודה רבה
I’ve worn my black suede kitten heel boots every year for at least 10 years! I love those boots. I also have knit pea coat for at least 16 years in navy still looks great
You are the best! This is my favorite video ever! I will refer back to it over and over through the season. Thank you for helping me look cute…even on a budget! 😘
(i just think these emojis are cute, the blue one reminds me of the cookie monster). through you i have been a sporadic LisaD1 watcher, not Always my vibe, but still fun! her love for health and fashion shines through.
Saw LisaD and absolutely LOVE that 3 of my most favorite style channels are collaborative this morning. YAY SO FUN! And I LOVE those earrings. You had me at GREEN!! 😊❤
In the UK in the late sixties, early seventies, a button down shirt was a shirt which had a collar which buttoned down. Shirts without a button down collar was a button through shirt b
Thanks for posting! Your videos are a highlight in my day. I got the striped version of the crewneck sweater from Walmart and I’m pleased with the quality and fit. I’m also excited to wear the double breasted sweater blazer from Chico’s. I tried the black one on in-store and loved everything about it. They hadn’t gotten it in the cranberry, yet, so I had them order it for me. I just received it and it’s gorgeous. I also love the newest wash in their trouser jeans. Can you recommend a budget friendly wedding purse that comes in a neutral color and is not just a clutch? TIA
I love dark green and navy together. Great color combo. Those dark green jeans were awesome too. Oh to have a zillion dollars. LOL. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for all the tips. Love all the jeans options. (“Ladylike?” That’s hilarious from this California 8th decade tomboy’s POV.) 😂 I’m with you on jean skirts…have yet to find a comfortable one. Love your way of combining style/comfort and finding affordable options. Great video, as always!
I love green although I lean more towards the classic autumnal shades like hunter and forest. I have some pull-on chambray pants from St. John that belonged to my mom. So comfortable and now back in style.
I received the pink short sleeve sweater today after you showcased it in a previous video and I love it! I went back in and ordered the dusty blue and the purple as well, as they are really interesting tones. Great recommendation!
Burgundy I heard is the color for the fall. I love burgundy and camel and cognac colors some more purses and perhaps scarves would be nice ideas to get ahead on with fall coming and winter. I enjoyed what you had to share. It was very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you. I think this was the most helpful video I have watched. I appreciate your efforts to find affordable alternatives to fashion. Would love for you to do a Fall dress video. (High school reunion coming up). I’m 5’4” and hate my knees and my arms. Being a size 10 to 12 I think a maxi is out. Would love something belted.
I love denim skirts. I have a few of them and the ones I got are stretchy and comfortable. Got them at Nordstrom. You just got to know how to style them. Too bad they didn’t work out for you cause they’re so versatile.
I have 5 pair of the No Boundaries shoes. I have the green both blacks a beige and pink. They are awesome! I’m blonde 53 and embracing the greens and pinks! Love your content Marny!💚🩷 I just got a new rugby shirt and I love it! I’m loving brown and black combos and navy & green!
Hi Marnie, can you do a low bootie segment? I'd live to k ow which ones run big, run wide, have good arch support, have no arch support, etc. I've been looking at Blondo low boots and I have a pair of them, but I need LOW heel short boots. Waterproof is great, but I don't know if suede is a good investment so maybe leather?
Marnie, your videos are always helpful! I love fashion but I love healthy feet, too, so I can’t wear pointy toes anymore. And I wear the round toe sneakers you don’t like! Lots of influencers (many in the fitness realm) and brands are trending towards rounded/ square toes in both streetwear and fitness and I’m ok with it!
@@suzannecross4089 that’s great if that’s what you have to wear or want to wear. I’ve never been one to jump on something even if it appears to be the “in thing”.
The Maurice’s collared cardigan didn’t work just right for me, but I’m still glad I ordered it. I returned it to a local store (where I had never been before) and I found jeans and a different cardigan that worked great! You might like the sweater I bought too - it’s also an open weave (mesh) but with a v-neck & no collar. I picked it up in a great charcoal gray color!
GREAT video! I also bought the Time & Tru jean dress. Looks more $$$$ than WalMart but there is NO stretch in it. Need to wear my shape wear under it. But it’s lovely and soft.
I can’t get past the prejudices I’ve held for denim skirts over the years. I bought the A-line/shift denim mini dress from Walmart, that I think is very cute, and that is as close as I’m getting to that trend.
I've been loving green since last fall, the more earthy toned ones, not the primary greens, like olives, sages, etc. My biggest hurdle is putting them together in a tonal/monochrome way. All my eyes see are the undertones popping out at me. Something that looks more cool with blue undertones, suddenly screams warm with yellow undertones when placed next to a piece that I thought was the same. I feel like I need to stick with one brand, one color if I want to wear them together. Then when I go into the light in another room, they all change again. Ack!

Thanks for sharing. I just love your taste. That tweed dress!
I'm so grateful for you !
Love your videos, Marnie, but boy do I spend too much when I watch them!!😂
Me too!!
Love all these Girls! You introduced me to Lisa and I watch all her videos.
TIA
Lisa sent me over! ❤
So glad you came by!
You look very pretty in green today 😊❤
I love green although I lean more towards the classic autumnal shades like hunter and forest. I have some pull-on chambray pants from St. John that belonged to my mom. So comfortable and now back in style.
Love your green eyelet top!
Thank you!!
Thank you.
Yes it’s another fall color trend-I think Mommies Makeup and Moscato are covering that one!
I’ve had my eye on that $34 dark wash denim dress from Walmart. This video made me press the BUY NOW link provided 😉
Really nice selections so hard to decide what I want to buy first. Thank you
You are so welcome!
Love all of your videos and your style! Can you share the black dress you had on with the Loft chambray shirt please?
Absolutely! Here it is: bit.ly/3WZvjyx
Another winner video!!
Wow! Great ideas given on incorporating the trends! Thank you for the hard work. This is so helpful. So ready for fall!
Chico’s doesn’t create for petite women. Drives me crazy. I don’t shop there because there’s no petite option. You’re 5’4”-I’m 5’1+
Great video So much good stuff !
Glad you enjoyed it!
I didn't see the link to #5. Chambray pants. Thank you! I love your channel.
Lovely as always,Marnie. Thanks for an inspiring video!
I recently bought a Levi’s below the knee denim skirt. It has a side slit that makes it easy to walk in with my long stride.
That’s a much better placement than in the front!
I love denim skirts. I have a few of them and the ones I got are stretchy and comfortable. Got them at Nordstrom. You just got to know how to style them. Too bad they didn’t work out for you cause they’re so versatile.
Hi Marnie, love your video’s. How about a new makeup video with fall colors? Thanks.
I appreciate that request-but other than maybe a few less bright lipstick choices, I stay pretty neutral and consistent throughout the year.
I have 5 pair of the No Boundaries shoes. I have the green both blacks a beige and pink. They are awesome! I’m blonde 53 and embracing the greens and pinks! Love your content Marny!💚🩷
I just got a new rugby shirt and I love it! I’m loving brown and black combos and navy & green!
I love Cirkul and have been getting the auto ship for several years now! I’m stuck on the coconut pineapple, yum!!
I second this request.
Me too!
The ‘in thing’ ?! 😂
Hi Marnie you 3 are my top favorites- love u all!!❤🎉thanks for video!
I found a denim blazer at JJill that I think is going to be a staple for me this year.
I love Sam Edelman shoes!
Marnie, on the long sleeve eyelet, I bought my normal size and it’s too small so I’d suggest considering sizing up if others look at ordering it
Green is my favorite favorite color!! Love your videos ❤
Camp Dry waterproofing - can be used on leather and suede
The Maurice’s collared cardigan didn’t work just right for me, but I’m still glad I ordered it. I returned it to a local store (where I had never been before) and I found jeans and a different cardigan that worked great! You might like the sweater I bought too - it’s also an open weave (mesh) but with a v-neck & no collar. I picked it up in a great charcoal gray color!
All the ladies I love!!!
I shop Chicos online especially the sales that I can afford. The pullon waist bands accommodate my apple shape.
GREAT video! I also bought the Time & Tru jean dress. Looks more $$$$ than WalMart but there is NO stretch in it. Need to wear my shape wear under it. But it’s lovely and soft.
Marnie, where did you purchase the cute gold/pearl earrings you wear? I love them.
I think you mean these: bit.ly/3KPbjIm Use code MSGOLDGIRL15 to get 15% off too!
Agree totally about denim skirts, there is something I won’t even classify because the hate will roll in.
I can’t get past the prejudices I’ve held for denim skirts over the years. I bought the A-line/shift denim mini dress from Walmart, that I think is very cute, and that is as close as I’m getting to that trend.
I’ve never liked denim skirts as they look horrible on me.
Ack!
Those tones can be tricky to wear all at once.
Loved everything ❤definitely getting those sailer pants
I have the navy Amazon dress you have in pink, I love the fit and it is a classic style. Great video. Thank you !
