I had 3 of these models. Did the first as RL 201, the second in 80's grey as it might have appeared then, and I think the 3rd was an attempt at Nato camouflage colours similar to mid-60s NATO squadrons. They had pretty much dried out when we purged and downsized a few years ago, and were falling apart, so they got scrapped. Seems appropriate since that's how the Arrows met their ends in real life.

I got the same exact model kit myself, definitely planning to build it at some point.

It’s a lot of fun, great model to sit it next other models on your shelf
Just watch out for the decals. Use hot water and micro sol and set
      Enjoy

@@canadianscalemodellercsm5580 Thanks for the advice! Might also come in handy with my 1:72 CF-100 Canuck model as well.

I'd like to by this for a birthday present for my father who was around these machine while in the Airforce.
My 50 year old hands are not steady enough to do such a great job(even if I could find a kit). Please make contact me if you still have this model.
We are out in Western BC.
    I know he'd love it.
    Thanks for your time.
    Phil

Hi Phil. I do still have the model, send me an email to Canadian.scale.modeller@gmail.com so we can further discuss. I’m always looking forward to thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice
      Cheers

The man at start made this for my dad. Rare older footage of Canadian Coast Helicopter operations in early '90s. Some parts are worth skipping through, but some parts are kinda neat.

Dude, you did as well as anyone could, but it doesn't look right. It's not your fault, the sad, historical fact is that no other aircraft has been so inaccurately represented by the plastic model industry. The 1958 Aurora model was completely misleading and at a wild scale to fit their standard box.
The Hobbycraft kits, although in common scales of 1/72 and 1/48, are embarassingly bad likenesses. Aurora had the excuse that factory drawings were secret at the time, but accurate drawings for both the Mk 1 and Iroquois-powered Mk 2 have been available since the late `70s - why did Hobbycraft apparently never refer to them? A-a-r-g-h!😡
