My favourite funny line from Uncle Albert was from The Jolly Boys Outing. 'One night it was so cold the flame on my lighter froze' It cracks me up every time. However, my favourite scene of his was a serious one, as he stands at the docks and remembers his childhood in He ain't Heavy He's My Uncle. It amply demonstrates what a wonderful actor Buster was. The biggest compliment I can give Buster, is that Albert was not just the uncle of the Trotters, he became the entire nation's Uncle Albert.
Imagine having Grandad and uncle Albert on the same episode ,what a sketch that would have been. Respect and admiration to two great actors. Pure brilliance.
Who's Rachel? Just brilliant. I consider myself privileged to belong to that era. The era when I was able to come across real talent, real laughter and the most entertaining show on Earth. My thanks goes to the whole team including John Sullivan for creating the best ever British comedy, bar none.
TRIVIA : When OFAH first came on TV some members of Parliament objected to the show because the trotters never paid their taxes and that they were setting a bad example to society ! 😆 r.i.p. to those we've lost from the show ! ❤🙏
Thank you for this amazing video Stu. I love uncle Albert in Only Fools and Horses. It`s amazing what Buster has achieved in his life, I never knew he was a bank manager. I have been thinking about starting an acting career myself. I keep saying I'm probably too old, but that can`t be true, there is always the time I have more of. And Buster started later on in his life too. Out of Grandad and Uncle Albert, I love Uncle Albert more, I find him more funnier and lovable. He who dares wins
