I’m glad he got nerfed. I haven’t fight him post-patch yet but basically everything I complained about seems to have been fixed. It is great that his damage has decreased because he was capable of killing you in three hits with Scadu level 20, a heavy armor and the Dragoncrest GreatShield talisman. Also the longer recovery time after bloodflame was a good change, that was frustrating.
@@TheResoluteYT My point is that he can kill you in three hits with Scadu level 20, A heavy armor and the Dragoncrest GreatShield talisman (+20% damage negation). I think that was a bit too much. If you need all of that just to avoid dying in two hits, then build choice gets more limited. I don’t know if the damage nerf was overdone or not, but allowing more builds to be viable, and to handle a bit more damage is great imo.

@@izanazir7088 I agree you will struggle less. But it will still be brutal. IMO the fight is hard because his phase 2 bread and butter combos require incredibly precise positioning to dodge and missing just one sets you up for a stun-lock cascade of tremendous damage. That isn’t gone. There are a dozen frames added here and there to pad some of that out. That’s 1/5 of one second of extra padding between some of his combo chains. That isn’t a lot. @gnperdue I don't think you understand, but some of fromsoftware fights are meant to be brutal. What you are calling bad is fun for me to die a dozen times and try again. It's not by any means unfair if they game is too hard, but some people don't spend enough time if they can't get to it. Lies of p suffered the same and frankly vastly more than fromsoftware does. They nerfed thier game upto the point its not even a souls like tbh. And it's coming from a guy who's first souls game is elden ring. Then I played the rest. I didn't overlevel but there isnt so much I can do. I can't ask to boss to move faster and attack more so I am pushed to use talisman, summons if I am stuck like 10+ tries. And even then it's hard for me, because I want to leave a larger room for strategy but I cannot since nerfs like these suffers my experience I want from it. Allow players to choose patch to play or difficulty level atleast.
honestly the pre--patch fight is pretty annoying, that double cross slash was almost undodgeable and some attacks you barely have a window to attack, imo it's a more enjoyable boss now
Yeah he was broken with the cross slash. Also better fps and visibility is something only idiots would complain about. The rest of changes I can give or take but one huge thing that they didn't touch on was the terrain. I hate how it's uneven and can make some moves way more inconsistent
A much more intuitive fight now I found, and more fun. They just made him fair. They could double his HP for all I care to shut some people up, more of a good fight. You want a challenge? Summon thollier, he's useless and just makes Radahn more powerful. Me and my bud do it for laughs.
I find it hard to understand this generation of video gamers. I grew up playing video games, and back then, you didn't have the luxury of complaining about a tough boss fight. You just had to figure out how to beat it. I remember wishing that games like Battletoads were easier, but there was no choice in the matter. You played the game as it was originally designed by the creators, and that was part of the satisfaction. I see that things are different for some people now. If a boss is too challenging and people complain enough, the game developers will make it easier. But it goes both ways. While some people may be happy with the change, those who beat the boss before the adjustment may feel like their accomplishment has been cheapened. In my opinion, nerfing the boss may make some people happy, but it also disappoints others. It shows that you can't please everyone, so maybe they should have just left it as it was.
They don’t understand game balance and think that because Souls games are hard and unforgiving it needs to rival Super Meat Boy in terms of death count. News flash, being hard isn’t always indicative of being well designed. It can be like with Messmer, but not always. Also something being possible for a speedrun tier player or Ongbal is not an example of “see it’s balanced guys” >inb4 get gud I’ve beaten and 100% all the games except demons souls cuz I don’t have it, I’ve beaten DS1, DS3, and Elden Ring at level 1, and have beaten Radah prepatch solo 3 times on different ng cycles. Git gud doesn’t work on me
@mr.kittysavestheworld695 anyone with half a brain who actually appreciates good game mechanics is happy with the changes lol. For me, radahn is really enjoyable to fight now and is up there with other top tier bosses like Rellana and midra
Its two different groups of people that are mad, thats why. You cant expect all elden ring fans to have the same opinion. For example, Consort Radahn was my favorite boss before the patch, now he looks far less impressive and god-like now. I dont mind changes to visuals for PC players, but the slowness to his attacks and damage nerfs is way too much. I was just really surprised that after such a great evolution to this game's combat system, there was a really loud part of the community that believed the slowness of dark souls 3 is what the game needed, and now that vocal minority seemed to have actually been heard and now Chadahn looks incredibly neutered. Definitely not going to have as much fun with this boss now, but its not really fromsoft's fault for feeling the need to give in to a few very loud fans. I am just now finding out that apparantely the cross slash was "impossible" to dodge?? I have no idea what people are talking about when they mention that, if you circle around his body while dodging him, he has SUCH a hard time even landing it on you. I of course struggled with the boss just as everyone else but I was really surprised people were crying for nerfs, a lot of the complaints I had felt no hit run guides showed pretty easily how to avoid said moves. Idk, I think I was just surprised overall why the dlc suddenly got a lot of backlash when I felt like it was a huge step up from everything fromsoft has delivered before.
I started Elden ring like a year and a half after it came out I was bummed I didn’t get to fight pre patch starscourge radahn personally I’m glad I got to fight this one
The miquella nuke nerf is really a shame. Being always at two centimeters from being obliterated like the half of the arena was such an intense feeling
@Alex_Aramayo Lmao. Elden Ring is supposed to be more casual friendly, i.e., spirit summons, an open world, the talimans/rings are overall better than Dark Souls. Am I saying Elden Ring is an easy game? No, it's just a more accessible title than Dark Souls.
@tylercarr7834 I like the way Elden ring has to bring versatility. The game is easy only if you wanna make it easy. If you want it hard, you have the tools to make it harder, artificially.
@@Breno_Henrique_2004 That's another good point. Elden Ring is only as hard as you make it, like if you want to use a unupgraded basic dagger the entire time with no armor and you're at rl1 that's okay, but if you want to have a meta weapon or spells/incantations while min maxed that's also okay.
Only part of this that was really necessary was the cross slash change and the performance improvements, as well as fixing the glitch that negates his orbital bombardment. The increased recovery times after certain attacks didn’t really feel necessary; I don’t think that every single move needs to be punishable, as his ground yoink, gravity twister, pseudo-grab RKO move, Lion’s Claw, cross slash, regular sword combo, Ring combo, Miquellesting, afterimage side dash, meteor slam (2nd phase), and Promised Consort combo all had pretty reliable attack windows afterwards. The only reason I can think of to justify this is that he’s pretty tough to stance break due to his abnormally fast posture regen, but that could be fixed by simply adjusting his poise timer so it plays by the rules all the other enemies do. The added recovery also hinders the pacing of the fight in my opinion. I love how relentlessly aggressive he used to be, and it was one of the few fights in the game where I actually felt like I had to keep an eye on my stamina bar. This meant that sometimes I was only going for rolling attacks where I’d normally go for a charged heavy, or straying his levitating projection combo since I’d use less stamina than rolling three times. The damage nerf doesn’t feel needed either. He’s the final boss, and it’s Prime motherfucking Radahn we’re talking about; he 100% should have some absolutely monstrous damage output.
He's not easy for u cos he got nerfed. He's easy for u cos u already fought the bs version of him so fighting the fairer version feels easier to u. If this was always the version of Radahn from the beginning, no one would be complaining.
@@enman009 That only works for the clones out of neutral, not after meteors. Trust me, I have been practicing this boss for 12 hours on top of looking at hours of practice from GinoMachino, to figure out the nuance of precisely these things. Right I mean allowing for reasonable openings after attacks and not getting blinded by light effects is the bare minimum of changes they could have made.
I agree "easy" is just a laughable argument. But fixing him and making him more fair doesn't mean they didn't do other changes that didn't necessarily have to do with fairness. He's outright slower and, as someone that only beat him post-Nerf officially, I just wish that the outright unfair mechanics were fixed without unnecessary noticeable increases in attack recovery and execution. But, to be fair, maybe it was done for managing performance too, not sure 🤷♂. At least in my experience, Malenia still holds the crown in difficulty, patched PCR wasn't easy and he's crazy intimidating, but a few no-hit practice runs and he was much easier to read since he didn't have an equivalent of Malenia's initially unintuitive waterfowl. Overall though, was a great experience to fight the post-patch, just wish this was PCR on release so there wasn't this fragmentation of difficulty fighting him between different players in the base.
Where was nerfed? I Didn't see much difference before and after. The only thing in the beggining the first jump gives a little bit more time to react. series x.
I’m glad he got fixed. Though I beat him after dozens of attempts, I didn’t feel any sense of accomplishment. I just felt ‘good riddance’. - His stance has very low recovery time, meaning that you cannot break his stance without parrying. - His cross-slash was just unfair. The only way to not take damage was to luckily be in a position to move out of his hitbox in a single roll. - iframing through all his combos just to poke once and continue rolling, makes it look like a rolling simulator and not a fight. - Rellana’s fight felt like a beautiful dance whereas Radahn felt like a chore. - I hate the fact that the dlc ended with a very sour taste in my mouth
You guys should create a mod that enhances Radahn by adding more gravity magic and bloodflame. There's so much potential for his character. Bring back the spinning attack from the original fight, have him lift the arena with gravity magic so we can view the whole map, let him fly around the battlefield, make him teleport, make him throw mohgs bloodflame for area control, etc. There's just so much potential
Yeah it's kind of funny how i was dissapointed with base game radahn because he was limited by his horse. And when i saw radahn in the dlc i was so hyped only to be dissapointed again by his limited moveset.
Honestly, whatever about the other nerfs. I am so happy about the toned down visuals, when I beat him the first time I didnt even feel that good because I got sensory overload and had to lay down with the lights off for a few hours
I literally just spent the whole month trying to get to him, now I finally reach him. LITERALLY ONE DAY later he is nerfed. My god, I think I might quit playing until they buff him up again, though I doubt it will ever be what it once was.... Damnit!!!
They won’t. They nerfed his damage, cross slash speed, he looks slower in general now, got rid of the slam hitbox when he goes up in the air with meteors, majorly cut his ability to perform combos, way less aggressive, no opening attack, and nerfed the visuals in phase 2. that’s all that I saw. I’m sure there’s more. I’m not happy about it, but I wouldn’t expect a company to cater to the small minority.
@@framedrop-_420. I meant the small minority that wouldn’t have wanted a nerf to this degree. It would not have been wise for From to ignore the majority of players that wanted to see changes. I think they did way too much here, but that’s just my opinion. From made changes that benefitted the majority of the player base, and that was a smart move on their part. I am disappointed with the changes but that’s okay. Life moves on.
Can you remake the Greatswords of Radahn from the DLC? My opinion is that there shouldn't be two different types. I want you to make a better version of the Greatswords of Radahn with a new moveset similar to the final boss of the DLC and make the Ashes of War, Promised Consort and Lightspeed Slash a lot better and more accurate with the boss it self
Sometimes you couldn't see what was his follow up because of the explosion particles. It only happened if you dodge the bf attack in front of him, but still, a QoL nerf.
He could follow it up with a very quick swipe so it usually isn't safe. It's only safe if you strafed to the perfect position and hit him from a bit of range during the explosion with a fast attack (basically only thrusting sword r1)
False He could literally start an attack before it even blows up so when it does, it hides him attacking you. It’s good now that you can actually see what will happen next
Thank god the cross slashes were slowed. In my martial arts playthrough i couldnt dodge them consistently without bloodhounds step. The rest of the fight is fine but that cross slash felt like bullshit. Still beat him tho so hopefully he dont feel too easy now
Why do they love to make unnecessary changes to poor Radahn. Absolutely no reason for the base game nerf, and in the DLC they only needed to lower the frequency of the holy aoe, everything else was perfect
@@i_get_destroyed_by_Messmer I swear people delude themselves into masochism when they heard pre-fix Radahn Criticisms. Like they feel personally attacked, on behalf of the boss itself, at the possibility that pre-fix Radahn was a tad bit broken😭
If I were to get a physical copy that included the DLC without a code in the future would I be able to play against the original consort radahn just for the experience on console?
I think they shouldnt have nerfed the first phase at all. I beat it dozens of times. It felt fair. But the lightning attacks in the 2nd phase was definitely unfair. I managed to beat him before the patch, but I low-key want to fight him again just to see how it feels nerfed. I still havent even downloaded the new patch yet.
This is like last boss of dlc, ultimate challenge which doesn't block any achievement - he shouldn't be this easy now, just nerf cross slash and his performance hit with pillar and that was only needed. He got overnerfed.
@@EdgeOfDarknezz he’s still the hardest boss in the game. I fought him, and I still take more attempts than when I fought Malenia back closer to basegame launch. They just balanced him to be closer to the rest of the bosses. The dlc bosses over would take you MAX 1-2 hours, then you reached Radahn and you have 4 working business days before you defeated him in pre-fix😂
Don’t get me wrong, I like challenging games. I wouldn’t play souls games if I didn’t. But I have never faced a boss that made me Want to tear my own hair out as much as Prime Radahn. For me personally, there’s a limit as to how challenging something should be before it stops being fun. Radahn crossed that line for me. I’ve beaten him twice. Once on a brand new character, and once on a maxed out ng7 character. Both times were arduous for me. And I’m no newcomer to souls games either. I’ve played demons souls, all dark souls, bloodborne, sekiro, and Elden ring along with other souls like games like lies of p as well. Nothing has come close to prime radahn.
Love the nerfs but has anyone else encountered a bug where Radahn just stands there after his opening attack and does nothing no matter what you do to him? This happened to me twice. Loaded a recording to my own channel if you need proof. ua-cam.com/video/uIBtCcHPa6Y/v-deo.html
As someone who has beaten pre nerf radahn hit less I beg from software to either reverse the changes or or allow us to change it in the game settings 😢 preferably the second one.
Same-thing almost happened to me AGAIN but thankfully the dlc wasn’t a nightmare and I managed to fight him.. with my plain strength build but ayyyyy sometimes we take wat we can get 😭
Personally I wish there was a way to switch to the old version it on console The whole point of him being extremely difficult makes beating him so much more satisfying his the final boss he needs to be difficult😭
There is a difference between being anoying and being difficult. Waterfowl dance and this douche are the latter. My eyes arent the best and his visuals make it extremely difficult for me to focus. So technichally that makes him harder, but in a way that we can most likely agree, isnt fun. And in case you wish to tell me to just "git gud", i did kill him, it was just very anoying.
@@jackd6881 I simply find satisfaction overcoming difficult parts and bosses in games to each his own though that’s why I think adding a way to switch between the two versions like a difficulty machines will satisfy everyone
Satisfying? Bro i beated him three times before this patch and each time i didn't feel satisfied, i felt relieved from a massive burden. This boss was utterly cheap bs; there is a difference between a well and hard balanced boss(like Mesmmer) and artificial difficulty

@@TheResoluteYT imma have to fight him again but I was talking in terms of the light attacks. I never had a issue with the fight before other than the cross slash. But that sucks, so is it like a slow motion version of the fight before?
Imo that cross slash fix is fine, but thats it. There are so many options you can use and combine to get it done, like tanky builds, summons plus all kind of buffs. Or just parry you trough it. Its a great final boss and the feeling after getting it... amazing.
I'm a fan of making the visual effects less blinding, attacks less finicky to dodge, but not slowing Radahn down and basically making him a regular Dark Souls boss (there's nothing wrong with most of the DS bosses I just liked how fast Radahn moved and how he always keeps you on your toes) Looks like I'm gonna have to do another playthrough to see for myself lol Edit: I really like the nerf! It gets rid of the fight's messy clutter and gives you more freedom to punish certain attacks, all while keeping the boss still pretty difficult. I take back what I said before. Nice, Fromsoft!
I have mixed feelings about this. I wanted to retry his fight before they nerfed him because I've only managed to beat him with a greatshield. Couldn't do it earlier because of my work.
Honestly it’s sad he got nerfed but it was necessary. His boss fight was extremely unenjoyable until u got it down like hours later and even then it was annoying.
Other than the damage nerf (seriously, he actually had the most fair damage output even in pre-fix), this update pretty much saved the boss for me. Now when I fight him on the new update, I get Elden Ring’s version Slave Knight Gael vibes with his dancelike moveset and wild, but intuitive, spectacle. Im happy that it was mostly a “fix” rather than a “nerf,” because it’s fitting that Consort is still the most challenging fight in the entire game. It wouldn’t be the same otherwise, and im glad that hasn’t changed
I think the changes to Radahn's cross slash and the size of the AOE hitbox in phase two were objectively good and served to make him a better boss fight. However, I do not at all like any of the other changes. Radahn's damage was already on the low side at high Scadutree levels before the nerf. Now due to the damage nerfs you can easily survive 5 to 6 hits from him at Scadutree level 15 and above which imo is way too big of an error margin for the final DLC boss. In addition, they slowed the pace of his fight down too much to the point where you can T-off on him with light attacks or get a fully charged R2 after nearly every combo that he does. These 2 changes make the entire fight feel a lot less oppressive and dangerous than it did pre nerf. I agree that Radahn did need fixing but NOT to this extent.
Thanks for the extensive explanition of the changes. I still stubbornly stand by the idea, that nerfing bosses is wrong for souls like games. Don't get me wrong, Radahn needed some changes, but In my opinion, the hitbox fixing would have been enough. Regardless, this will make the boss fight a little less stressful, maybe little fair as well and also may make the fight more enjoyeable for players who like to watch in awe of their destruction. Maybe I can trust my dodge rolls once again, now that there are actual pauses between strikes. Shadow of the Erdtree DLC kinda proved to me that Dodge roll is just a suggestion. There were multiple times, where the boss only raised their arm before the strike, and my character already forgot to dodge roll/already were moaning from the pain before the strike would even land. Regardless how much I spammed spacebar. Looking at you fekking Rellana. God, I hate that fish. That is my only problem with the DLC. Some bosses, including Radahn, required a long dodge-chain and hit once, to beat him effectively, now that a lot of his moves have longer pauses, players can be a little be more aggresive. Thanks for the vid.
This is because handsless players complained a lot about how hard Radahn was instead of just keeping trying, damn the final boss of the DLC can't be a walk in the park... Well, I'll have to put a mod in which they restore glory to General Radahn 😎
> Implying that Ludwig is half as bad as Consort Radahn, or even bad at all in the first place Ludwig's fight felt like a proper bout agaisnt a raging beast followed by an honorable duel with a legendady swordsman. Consort Radahn on the other hand was a seizure inducing, graphics card exploding, frame trapping wannabee Beyblade on meth. If anything, the chages brought him closer to being as good of a boss as Ludwig.
The difference is that Radahn is a massive leap in difficulty over Ludwig. In an attempt to push boundaries in difficulty, you’re bound to make some goofs. Radahn definitely had his goofs.
Fun fact: Starscourge Radahn was Miyazaki’s favorite boss before the DLC came out. I think the devs nerfing him is more of a sign that they’re Radahn fans since they want to ensure players can enjoy the fight.
@@fearlessfailure2848nah fck that waterflow move, you literally need to check guides to learn how to dodge it. And even then it’s still very hard to execute. Completely not intuitive and unfair move.
Yea, I don't think Malenia necessarily needs it. Honestly, I didn't find her to be a very good boss. She's just a one trick poney with her waterfowl technique. Everything else dealing with her is honestly not that hard, but that move is what makes up 90% of her difficulty, and it's a stupidly difficult move to avoid. That and the healing. Should have done the Capcom method. After you die multiple times, the game asks if you want to apply the Radahn patch.
i dont think ive ever heard of an attacks recovery being increased by SIXTY whole frames
I feel like that's too much ngl.

Community before the nerfs: NOOO THIS BOSS IS SO OVERTUNED AND UNFAIR!!!!
Community after nerfs: WTF THEY MADE HIM TOO EASY 😡
Those people will be never happy.
I am definitely happy with the changes, so at least the entire community isn't stupid.
They don’t understand game balance and think that because Souls games are hard and unforgiving it needs to rival Super Meat Boy in terms of death count. News flash, being hard isn’t always indicative of being well designed. It can be like with Messmer, but not always. Also something being possible for a speedrun tier player or Ongbal is not an example of “see it’s balanced guys”
>inb4 get gud
I’ve beaten and 100% all the games except demons souls cuz I don’t have it, I’ve beaten DS1, DS3, and Elden Ring at level 1, and have beaten Radah prepatch solo 3 times on different ng cycles.
I just beat him last Friday, glad to say i beat pre patch consort radahn!
The miquella nuke nerf is really a shame. Being always at two centimeters from being obliterated like the half of the arena was such an intense feeling
I fought him pré nerf, at NG+10. Now my lord Radahn has been nerfed. The suffering was worth, but now it won't be the same...
Same, but ng+26
Cuz garbage casuals
The fact that they let him be parried was a big nerf by itself pre-patch...
Literally they made him slow now.
Ngl wish that was the effect of frost
They didn't.
I learnt this man's whole move set to now just be able to beat him with probably someones ald lady's wooden spoon
Exactly... I'm glad it's easy now.
He's not easy for u cos he got nerfed. He's easy for u cos u already fought the bs version of him so fighting the fairer version feels easier to u. If this was always the version of Radahn from the beginning, no one would be complaining.
@@anonisnoone6125 fair point
Mr. President, a second nerf has just hit Radahn.
No changes to the tracking of the clone slam after meteors? So it is still not consistently avoidable when up against a wall?
Running sideways for the meteors and then 2-3 dodges for the clones. Or even just running sideways to dodge the last slam.
@@enman009 That only works for the clones out of neutral, not after meteors. Trust me, I have been practicing this boss for 12 hours on top of looking at hours of practice from GinoMachino, to figure out the nuance of precisely these things. You can run back right and it works about 70% of the time, but that is way too inconsistent for some of the challenge runs I am planning.
can’t wait to hear all the “yOu OnLy FoUgHt ThE nErFeD vErSiOn” I’ll be getting when I reach him in like 5 years cuz I have almost no fucking time to play video games thx to school 💀 thx a lot…

@@TheExeptionbase game Radahn too?? Damn… I only beat him recently…
Guess what hes still fucking hard just now you get maybe 1 or two times where you can attack. He still has his bs aoe attacks and aerial bs.
Bro really said he's "easy" now. He's just more fair lol.
1:07 The only move make me mad.
This is a well deserved nerf. There's only 2 things that I wish they didn't change but overall, a good change.
@@GreasyGumbo Small minority? Literally everyone was calling this boss trash.
@@GreasyGumbo That's fair
Can you remake the Greatswords of Radahn from the DLC? My opinion is that there shouldn't be two different types. I want you to make a better version of the Greatswords of Radahn with a new moveset similar to the final boss of the DLC and make the Ashes of War, Promised Consort and Lightspeed Slash a lot better and more accurate with the boss it self
Not again, poor Radahn.😭😭😭
And I resaved to face him again so I could feel that feeling of victory once again, but now it's too late.
idk why they touched up the bloodflame attack that was already an opening if you positioned yourself to avoid the second hit without dodging
False
He could literally start an attack before it even blows up so when it does, it hides him attacking you. It’s good now that you can actually see what will happen next
@@Slaughter_Hill Oh. Didn't noticed it was before the animation. He was so fast that I thought he was just following it up after te explosion.
I think radahn got over nerfed, the double slash follow up by the cross slash did need an nerf aswell as the big nova attack but the rest was ok......
Don’t tell me they nerfed bayle too I beat him thinking I was him
Thank god the cross slashes were slowed.
Absolutely no reason for the base game nerf, and in the DLC they only needed to lower the frequency of the holy aoe, everything else was perfect
... Are you serious?

If I were to get a physical copy that included the DLC without a code in the future would I be able to play against the original consort radahn just for the experience on console?
No, unless you play on pc, where you can pretty much much play any version, you’ll never be able to play pre-patch consort Radahn.
@@ronthorn3 I need a PC then. Thank you sir!
I'm upset because I haven't gotten to him yet. I wanted to fight the pre-patch Consort Radahn. . . ;-;
Rip. Truly the hardest boss I've ever fought. Had to beat him twice.

Can’t you just play without updating the game?
Most games usually have some trick that lets you roll back to a previous patch.
Nerf was needed, he was an insane difficulty spike compared to rest of game bosses
@@EdgeOfDarknezzso why is 10x harder than the dlc bosses but radagon isn’t?

Me who beat radahn a day before the patch dropped
Don’t get me wrong, I like challenging games. I wouldn’t play souls games if I didn’t. But I have never faced a boss that made me
Want to tear my own hair out as much as Prime Radahn.

As someone who has beaten pre nerf radahn hit less I beg from software to either reverse the changes or or allow us to change it in the game settings 😢 preferably the second one.
Easy,right... looks at the 2 hours pre and 2 post nerf still finding 2nd phase impossible 😅😅
why do you even dodge? you have infinite health anyway
I beat Radahn 4 times before the nerf I lost to him more than 500 times
Second time I miss the opportunity to Radahn close to his prime. Welp at least the overtime pay is coming tomorrow.
Same-thing almost happened to me AGAIN but thankfully the dlc wasn’t a nightmare and I managed to fight him.. with my plain strength build but ayyyyy sometimes we take wat we can get 😭
The boss tracking is still fucking awful when you get summoned.
Personally I wish there was a way to switch to the old version it on console
The whole point of him being extremely difficult makes beating him so much more satisfying his the final boss he needs to be difficult😭
He needs to be fun over anything. It's a game after all and now he's definitely more fun
Whats satisfying about that really? You dont even get a real ending after all that.

Correct
They hit the second radahn
Mr. Eyes, they nerfed the second Radahn
Imo that cross slash fix is fine, but thats it.
There are so many options you can use and combine to get it done,
like tanky builds, summons plus all kind of buffs. Or just parry you trough it.
Its a great final boss and the feeling after getting it... amazing.
Glad i made my parry video pre nerf ❤😂
I'm a fan of making the visual effects less blinding, attacks less finicky to dodge, but not slowing Radahn down and basically making him a regular Dark Souls boss (there's nothing wrong with most of the DS bosses I just liked how fast Radahn moved and how he always keeps you on your toes)
Looks like I'm gonna have to do another playthrough to see for myself lol
Edit: I really like the nerf!

Consort Radahn was always my favorite boss so that’s a hard disagree from me
Other than the damage nerf (seriously, he actually had the most fair damage output even in pre-fix), this update pretty much saved the boss for me.
Finally...

nah im going to finish this dlc on 1.13
Funny how both variants have radahn have been nerfed
Well thats disappointing
Rip bro
What an absolute joke those increased recovery frames are, he's literally a snail now
Don’t worry. His combos are still difficult and he’s still an overall difficult boss
The clickbait titles are coming in hot I see
they just keep mogging my boi
Shout out to all the players who beat per-nerf Radahn and Consort Radahn 🙋♂️🗿 we fuqn did it 🤝

He is as he should’ve been from the start
Peak virginity here
Well, I guess Orphan of Kos is back as the hardest FromSoftware boss again… it was nice while it lasted, Radahn. :/
Haven’t fought the new radahn but I’m sure 100% he will still be the hardest. Eveything in bloodborne is easy
this shit is weak, imagine if they nerfed Ludwig because people weren't " enjoying". I've never seen a souls game so catered to the community.
> Implying that Ludwig is half as bad as Consort Radahn, or even bad at all in the first place
Ludwig's fight felt like a proper bout agaisnt a raging beast followed by an honorable duel with a legendady swordsman. Consort Radahn on the other hand was a seizure inducing, graphics card exploding, frame trapping wannabee Beyblade on meth. If anything, the chages brought him closer to being as good of a boss as Ludwig.
Ludwig not even hard
The difference is that Radahn is a massive leap in difficulty over Ludwig. In an attempt to push boundaries in difficulty, you’re bound to make some goofs. Radahn definitely had his goofs.
Basically, EZ mode 😂😅
They can make radahn take 1 hit in order to die and your ass would still find a way to die😭💀
Hate casuals, pre nerf Radahn was perfect, just perfect
The devs are Malenia fans 😡😡😡
I'm so glad they didn't touch her.
