Greg McHale was once a mountain hunting guide but had never been guided himself until this hunt with Canoe Outfitters in the Northwest Territories. Cancel Outfitters are renowned for Dall's Sheep, moose, and caribou and provide an experience that brings many of their mountain hunting clients back year after year.
Glenda, the outfit's manager, and her husband Glen show Greg genuine northern hospitality as they bring him into a rugged and challenging sheep hunting area. In part 1 of this hunt, Greg finds himself awe-struck at the beauty and remoteness of the country.

Great video!! The part about Eastman and Cougar Long is very interesting. A friend of mine that I use to help chase cats lived with Long in his cabin a couple years trapped and hunted with him. I heard lots of Cougar Long stories LOL!! He was a very interesting guy. He is also in Bob Kjos's book which is a MUST read!!

Quite a few! I'm very fortunate.
Helicopters should medivac only. …money should not kill big rams. 21 day hunts should.
I love the idea. Sadly, it's not realistic. Neither outfitters nor hunters want to bring horses into that country, and Argos would destroy it.
Hunt the human criminals, not the animals who have no chance, no guts for that? big guys!!! Humans a herbivores we were tricked to eat meat, try for a week and you will love ot.
