Thank you Art for pointing out that we are the same distance from the 80s whether we're in 2022 or 1922 depending on what 80s you're thinking about
The Professor cracks me up! Hahaha I love Lucas opening up the intense eldritch darkness to dissuade and Colin trying to keep the job on the table 😂
Quite impressive payments: £100 Sterling in 1896 would be about £17,000 today [nearly 32,000 AUD].
A brilliant scenario from one of the best COC source books out there. Excited to watch this through.
I was waiting for the hardcover an have it on order with the Spells book to round out my GM capabilities. Definitely can't wait for these items to arrive.
I really love your play style! Good Keeping. Inspirational for me.
Lol, at 32:49 the Keeper should have made Dave take a point of Sanity loss as Colin Fenton had a terrifying existential, and quickly fleeting, moment of self-realization his existence is defined by a separate conciseness from a far flung future and a sting of binary code; abyssal teetering. But then quickly snaps back to 'reality'.
Hmm but should he have made Dave or Colin take the point of sanity….? 🤔🤔
Dave probably ate it IRL
such an interesting statue the tenticles follow you round the room
Lucas and Colin together are such a joy 😂❤
Great session! Thanks all!
Fenton regarding opium use: "everyone's got hobbies..."
looks like i need a new book
What? Hello! What?
How can I become part of this?
I love CoC and other RPGs, but so damn expensive.
Seems about average to me, maybe even a little below average. I'd also guess that it's LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than anything that's come out of 5E D&D and that is MUCH more expensive, even the digital stuff that they have!
Try a Magic the Gathering or Games Workshop hobby. TTRPG is relatively cheap. Just need the occasional new book for the DM. Players pay even less.
I would suggest looking at the free stuff you can get. Imo most RPG stuff is overpriced and unnecessarily trying to be art or literature when in fact they should just concentrate on being clear and concise
