aabria blowing so much of her luck right away on nothing, omg i was dying inside xD luck is a pretty important stat in call of cthulhu, like imagine if in dnd, during your characters intro you drove a nail through your head to impress a random stranger by and permanently reduced your wis by 40%. like, what are you doing!!!!!! xD
this is one of my favorite things about Aabria as a player, not-just-but-especially in oneshots. i think maybe the first time i saw her was in the lvl 20 oneshot with Patrick Rothfuss and she comes *out the gate* swinging Time Stop, absolutely no interest in saving resources for a rainy day or an opportune moment! there is a madcap delight in watching her rock up to a poker table, not even looking at her cards and shouting ALL IN, bitches just TRY to call me!
This is suchhhh a good cast for CoC! And by that I mean a table full of people who will cheerfully drive their characters straight off a cliff made of bad choices in service to a good story.
Saige did a wonderful job for her first time DMing/Keeping CoC. The entire adventure flew by watching their VOD, and everyone had great characters. The roleplaying was excellent, which given the players was not a surprise. And the entire scenario was perfect and scary so kudos to Chaosium too. Look forward to more CoC from them.
This was so good- Lenore not going down without a last hit, Ronald having WW1 flashbacks instead of the fictional horror, ,, That last hivemind moment- This is beautiful collaborative storytelling!
This is one of the best table i've watched of Cthulhu. I love the keeper so much and the settings and characters are all great! I already knew 3 of them but the one playing Margret is so good, love her ♥
I am obsessed with saige’s makeup! I’m always up for a creepy circus, and I’m pumped that I found this one!! Just finished the Dark Souls one shot and am kinda loving them!
i’m extremely new to Dnd and CoC so i had like very little prior knowledge going into watching a lot of this channels vid BUT this was probably a second favorite though i’ve seen very few this particular game really peaked my interest and inspired a story idea of my own but also the story itself had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. im genuinely baffled how underrated these campaigns are
Saige was magnificent at being the Keeper. Loved her dark stuff in Black Dice Society, and CoC was a perfect fir for her dark imagination. Loved this episode!
I feel like Mariah Carey would be jealous for the flute sound of Saige laugh, always loved it so much. Really well done game and amazing cast! Thank you!
I have to ask. Did anyone else have trouble listening to this? I cannot make it 5 minutes in. As someone with hearing loss, I cannot hear this well even with my hearing aides, and I would prefer to not turn the volume up to full just to make it passed the introductions.
Omg Aabria, Luis AND Alex in a game?!?!? What a treat!!

Man I need more Saige running Cthulhu games! She's fantastic
agree!

I don't think anyone would have guessed it was your first time as keeper if you hadn't said so.
I adored this! Love a cthulhu session that doesn't take itself too seriously, but was still genuinely creepy
1:28:00 i was eating grapes while watching this, almost choke on it and....SAME Alex, SAME!
2:27:02 Alex and Aabria watches CR C1. Nice.
😜
Late to this party, but dayum what a party! Love the story, love the characters, a truly magnificent CoC scenario!
"im a married woman, tim. whatcha lookin at?" aabria absolutely killing alex in one hit is underrated she's so good
a pretzel a day keeps Cthulhu away.

All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus / When I crack that whip everybody gonna trip just like a circus
Saige was magnificent at being the Keeper. Loved her dark stuff in Black Dice Society, and CoC was a perfect fir for her dark imagination. Loved this episode!
This was twisted... like a pretzel
I cannot shake off how clever Mr Action was.
Ronald is way too relatable of a Mood
I feel like Mariah Carey would be jealous for the flute sound of Saige laugh, always loved it so much. Really well done game and amazing cast! Thank you!
she did king in yellow for a oneshot
I thoroughly admire Saige's restraint in not lapsing into a Borat impression with the repetition of the phrase "My Wife." Well done.
Great mix of fun and creepy, loved this one shot!
1:27:55 spit take replay button for the future
been missing papa while shes been at work and also were getting a sequel for this i think? good time to rewatch
This was delightfully horrifying, amazing work!
2:35:35 That's a generous GM as you can't use Luck on sanity rolls.
New to this particular game but immediately into it. Im gonna have to find more of this asap.
I'm so loving the circus and cthulhu combination
This is such a cool premise for a CoC scenario. Anybody know if it’s available to pick up? I’d really enjoy running this one.
Last time, on As The Pretzel Tightens
Omg such heavy hitters!
I love this
Woop!
So creepy, great role play!

I think the sound is quite good here. Perhaps it's been re-uploaded?
