We had this exact arcade at our house when we were kids. The previous owners left it for us. Sister ended up breaking it and dad sold instead of fixing it. I was so mad.
Timing, patience and angles is everything on this game. Managed to clock it with one credit back in the day, fantastic graphics and gameplay for the time.

Loved this game. Artwork is amazing and this hasn't aged at all. Truly a masterpiece during the quarter machine video arcade era. Best of it was the texture and "feel" of this game. The punches and hits you make on the enemy was so juicy and satisfying.
This game...so may memories...Used to play it all the time as a kid even though I was pretty terrible at it...could never get past the third stage. Such a good game though.
Level 3 was my favorite! I love the Vegas scenery combined with the cheesy lounge music! It just seemed way more fun crashing through all the different objects on this level.
I remember playing this at the bowling alley in Yokosuka, Japan. My aunt worked there and it was rare I would visit her. It was always a holy grail for me as a kid.
When I was younger I couldn't get enough of this game in the Arcade's... I always wanted this game on Sega Genesis... But if you are a Xbox Series X/S owner like myself... You can relive the Glory of this game with the Antstream Gaming Service on the Xbox Store...👏🧐💯🥂

I was enjoying watching another guy play and then saw the game over screen... from that moment, and until 1993 I would literally search for this game first thing when entering any arcade. If it was there, I’d get the f out in panic.

The Road Warriors actually used Iron Man as their entrance music way back in the day, and were pretty big in Japan too, so I think it's safe to say that was a nice little homage to them.

For a game with such a limited moveset, it threw so much variation with environment at you then it never felt repetitive. A true masterclass in game design compared to many of the other beat em ups what just threw bodies at you.

Uno de los juegos beat em all más difíciles en su momento, a diferencia de otros se su género donde los golpes de los protagonistas tenian prioridad porque eran más rápidos y los enemigos se acercaban solos para recibir su paliza, este juego era difícil porque los golpes del ninja eran lentos y no tenía un "ataque de emergencia" para salir de situaciones difíciles en las que te rodeaban, los enemigos se acercaban pero tenías que medir bien tus golpes y ángulo del escenario para que no te atacarán entre cada ataque, nunca pude terminarlo con una sola ficha por su enorme grado de dificultad.
Yo si lo teemine cientos de veces (literal) con una ficha, claro, al principio como dices tu, yo gasté mu has fichas para terminarlo las primeras veces.

it was one of my favorite arcade games when I was 10yo. I used to play in a bar where people usually spent one coin to finish the game. The bar owner saw it was not given so much money as he expected. So him asked to a guy to modify the game difficult. It didn't help lol and sadly the arcade was removed from the bar -sad history :-(

This game was brought down by it's soundtrack and the recycled boss enemies. In a game with only 6-7 levels, you shouldn't be using the same boss guys over and over again. This is one of the rare cases where the Nintendo version of the game was far better than the arcade version.

I remember playing this at the arcade, then when the NES version came out I thought it would be exactly like this one. I was majorly disappointed. Plus, the NES version was hard as hell. It was so hard that it wasnt even enjoyable. Once I finished it, I never wanted to play it again.
Lol I thought I was the only one disappointed! Money was tight growing so it took me forever to save enough to buy it only to find out it was a totally different 🤬. I had no choice but to play it for months and it actually grew on me. I got soo good at it i could pass in my sleep. Now I still play it for fun and to sharpen my gaming skills
You can download the mame emulator and all of the roms (games) that you need, you can play this games in your computer, that's way better than any app.

The North American version, this being the Japanese, was censored because that particular track was a little too close to the Black Sabbath song.

an arcade game costs the same amount of electricity to run whether it's being played a lot or not, your story makes no sense

I love the extent they go to with the visual detail in the old arcade games compared to the console games of the same era.

There was a PC we had long ago and it had a bunch of games. Budweiser, punisher, battle zone, frogger, ninja gaiden, all these arcade games. Anybody know the name of such PC?

Tenbia yo 10 años y con una moneda me la pelaban todos los monitos, una vez mi papá tuvo que ir por mi a donde estaba el video juego por que me mando por un refresco y yo me quede jugando y llego y me dio una madriza por no llevarle el refresco por que el acababa de llegar de trabajar y yo de pendejo me quede jugando jajajajajajaj que buenos tiempos
This game was brought down by it's soundtrack and the recycled boss enemies. In a game with only 6-7 levels, you shouldn't be using the same boss guys over and over again. This is one of the rare cases where the Nintendo version of the game was far better than the arcade version.
The soundtrack's great! Dunno what you're talking about. Also, the main problems with this game is actually the slow pace and cheap AI...
What are you talking about? I loved this game back in the day. The only system that had a port of it was the atari lynx.

Un juego 🎮 muy difícil de terminar con una sola ficha tenias q tener muy calculado todos los movimientos de tus oponente ya q el ninja era muy lento para esquivar los golpes

I remember playing this at the arcade, then when the NES version came out I thought it would be exactly like this one. I was majorly disappointed. Plus, the NES version was hard as hell. It was so hard that it wasnt even enjoyable. Once I finished it, I never wanted to play it again.

The nes version is so incredibly unlike this game. I can't stand the nes game and what it's mechanics are. This is a beat em up.
Lol I thought I was the only one disappointed! Money was tight growing so it took me forever to save enough to buy it only to find out it was a totally different 🤬. I had no choice but to play it for months and it actually grew on me. I got soo good at it i could pass in my sleep. Now I still play it for fun and to sharpen my gaming skills

download arcade games on playstore it has a red joystick in the icon its on there plus alot more badass games.

You can download the mame emulator and all of the roms (games) that you need, you can play this games in your computer, that's way better than any app.
