Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja Master is though far, my favorite Shinobi game of all time. It's a fast pace game and the difficulties playing it. I love the soundtrack. I haven't played for a long time since I was a little boy. I will play it again someday.
I "borrowed" my Uncle's Sega Console and i was browinf throufh the games it had. Shinobi 3 was one of the games i got addicted too. It may be hard at first and i keep losing, but each run- i get better

Shinobi for the Game Gear was my favorite. The villains/minions were so weird and a lot of it felt like a late 80's early 90's kind of action movie. I especially loved that you rescued your ninja friends and they had their own unique power and weapons. Felt like the power rangers.
that was Shinobi 2: the silent Fury. I also had it for gamegear and beat the game. I loved playing that game when I was a kid. Had all the different ninjas you can turn into. I think there was blue, red, green, and yellow.
I like ROS, but the lack of sprint in that game is the only let down of this game. Afterall, you have Joe Musashi walking his way throughout the whole game, trying to save Naoko...
Holy cow, revenge of the Shinobi is the one i have on my Gameboy? One of the first games i ever played? Im so glad i was connected to this franchise so early. And i just started playing Shinobi 3 the other day
Studio behind Shinobi games (Overworks fused with WoW Entertainment, and now is Sega WoW, then renamed into Global Entertainment 2 R&D) still exist and made also a games like Valkyria Chronicles 1-4 (with Mediavision), Sakura Wars 1-5 (with Red Entertainment), Skies of Arcadia, Magic Knight Rayearth, Phantasy Star Portable, Phantasy Star 1-4, The House of The Dead, Dragon Force, Thunder Force, Altered Beast. Sadly there is no word about this studio, after Valkyria Chronicles 4 release date in 2018.
Shadow dancer is my childhood game. Got this game from my uncle and I would grind it to win on original saga. You know without a save file so it was extra hard to complete but man I love this game. Sad to say half of these I didn’t know they existed

Shadow dancer, the best. Funny to see just cosmetics over the latest existing code and game engine. You clearly see by the end where arkham asylum and spiderman games are coming from.

The Nintendo DS also had the original Shinobi arcade game hidden as an Easter Egg within a sequel Shinobi game for that system, which is also a pretty good game as well. Also, said Nintendo DS Shinobi game also had The Revenge of Shinobi as a hidden game as another Easter Egg in that game as well.
Does anyone know the name of the game where the main character is a ninja who has a suit like from the future, in the game he can throw shurikens and swing and he can camouflage himself when enemies are near. The game is 2d and there is one level with cranes and there is a swing and there are levels where robots shoot you with lasers if they see you nearby, they are not really robots but like machines, I can't remember exactly, does anyone know the name of the game ?

All games are good, but sadly all Sega non Sonic games in PS2/PS3 era sold bad - except Yakuza (and it's still the same now). That is a reason why this series is in the fridge now.
I'm pretty sure the gba game has nothing to do with the actual shinobi games. That's some knock off bargain bin game. Edit: I looked it up. Despite having the same name, it is in no way related to the real shinobi games. This is just something else.

I honestly felt like it was a better Return of the Ninja Trilogy, but in a video game format, and with some sci-fi/fantasy/horror thrown into the mix.
