What a sweet pre-reaction. “ I wanna bring country music to more people” “ you mean black people?” Your smile is priceless. The both of you are awesome. 👍🏻
I started crying too. My baby girl is 2 years old & time keeps flying by. It also makes me think about my daddy who I love so much. He’s the best father I could ever ask for. I thank God for my family, and for all of the little things I sometimes over look.
Don't be ashamed, my kids have grown-up and wife passed away in February. This song got me too. I miss my wife and miss little people in my house. I feel so lonely
I can't even begin to imagine the pain and loss you must feel but, remember there's always tomorrow. Tomorrow when you see or talk to your kids, when you help a neighbor in need, when you leave a little more change in the charity jar to try and help someone even more in need. There's always tomorrow. I don't know you and I'm not a shrink but, I'm pretty sure that as long as you have a tomorrow your wife would want you to go out and live it as the best you. And remember, our kids are always our kids so love them strongly, hold them tightly, and never be afraid to tell them how much you love them and how important they are in your life, and know how important you are in theirs. Best of wishes and prayers your way. 🙏
Imma be real..... I bawled my eyes out thinking about my grandfather. He passed 2 years ago and was my only father figure, not only that but I was closest to him. I remember crying about not doing well in sports games when I wanted to for him, I remember spending nights with him... sleepovers, I remember him taking me for food, I remember him passing. I just wish I could see him again, I miss him so much, I just want a hug.
You wrote about the things I am doing for my granddaughter. Her father is not a real father figure for her. She loves me so much and I see it. She wants me with her everywhere. What I fear the most is passing away while she is still young. I don’t want to see her sad. I love her so much and she knows it. I hope I live long enough for her to get married and start her own life.
Very much so. It's everyone's music. I myself love all types of music. I just can't handle when jazz gets crazy, lol. I love to head bang & listen to rap, but the music that really speaks to me is way old school country. From The Carter Family through to Hank Sr, Jr & III. My favorite of all time is Waylon Jennings & Shooter Jennings.
My motto is, "living in yesterday can only bring sorrow, living in tomorrow will bring fear, therefore live in the now" I can get through anything when dealing with it in the moment! This has brought me a lot of peace and gratitude! Thank you for keeping it real! ✌
You got that right girl! Country music is for everyone! ❤️ I’m Asian and I sing and love country music myself! I can guarantee that there’s more people out there from different races and ethics that enjoys country music just as much as you and I! ❤️❤️❤️
Born and raised in southern Oklahoma and country music was my favorite but all genres are in my playlist. Always have been. I’m 46 now, married to my HS sweetheart for 28 years. 3 kids and now 2 grands. When this song was released I immediately downloaded it because it is the absolute truth. My oldest is 27 and my youngest is 17 and my daughter is 25. I tell them all the time. Slow down and enjoy this moment in your life. And nothing soothes the soul than some good ole country music. Especially George Strait 😍
Totally agree. Of all modern genres it's most suited for story telling. The listeners expect it and allow it. The writers are damn good at telling it. (When they want to)
The older you get, the rougher this one gets. Pretty much a perfect country song, makes you feel exactly what he was feeling when he wrote it. Remember the past, plan for the future but live in the present.
Never hide the tears that music brings to you my brother. Those tears are the essence of what makes us all human. Heard this song a thousand times and cry every time, my "little" girl is 25. Love to both of you beautiful souls.
This songs gets to me everything. My middle child just got married last week and I can't believe how time flew by. I remember taking him to school for the first time. I miss those days so much. I love your channel.
One of the things I love about country music,is the universal appeal of it. It's, in general, life experiences, that EVERYONE can relate to. It's the human connection, that goes beyond any differences that we may have. Loved your reaction! Peace!
When i saw this song, I was like, "oh no. One or both of the T's is going have tears. It gets me EVERY time I hear it. When it came out, my kids were teenagers. I was on the verge of "empty nesting ". They are 30 & 26. I saw the tears coming from both of you guys. But, Tasha, ur husband put up a good fight. No worries, this gets everyone who has a heart.
This song is so powerful. Whether you are a parent seeing your kids growing too fast, or a "child" watching your parents start aging and all the memories come flooding back from those younger days. It amazes me that one day you're a kid in this HUGE world that cannot wait to grow up, then it seems overnight you're counting grey hairs and desperately wishing for the clock to slow down.
I am thankful you started this journey. Listening to upbeat and emotion filled, good feeling songs. It's okay to cry. I think the majority of us understand.
I'm 66 years old. My son will be 47 on the 28th of this month. This song is so very true that's why it's one of my favorites. I wish I could go back to when he was little and start over knowing then what I know now. I raised him the best way I knew how. He always had a clean safe place to live and sleep and never went hungry. I worked my butt off to make sure of that but he missed out on so much. He always had what he needed I just wish I could have given him more of the things he wanted.
I feel ya dude. We are taught from a young age to be tough and not cry, which I think causes us not to fully absorb these important moments in our lives sometimes. Kids growing up, earning a new station in our careers, falling in love, friends coming and going… gotta let it out sometimes brother. Just took my oldest son to his first day of pre-k two weeks ago…. Held it together until I got back to my truck and I turned on the windshield wipers until I realized it wasn’t raining lol
Don’t sweat it T.I’m 52 and have been shedding tears to good country music for 40 years brother.Country music keeps me grounded in life and my Metal music let’s me release my anger, stress and tension through the music.Music is so freaking magical.
Oh my gosh, I just found this and now I’m crying. You guys have such great messages to share with the world as well. I’ve been country music ride or die all my life. Now I love finding these reaction videos of people discovering what I’ve loved all along.
I'm sitting here crying my eyes out again. I've watched this video atleast a hundred times because I'm a very big TA fan and of all his songs this is my favorite. I'm 66 years old and believe me that song is so true. I wish I had realized when I was younger how much those memories would mean to me now. Cherish every second. 💖💖💖
I love it that she loves country music, I bet you will be a wonderful country singer. Bring us all back together sweetheart with your voice. God bless you both.
We all relate to this song. Thank God for country music. The music of life! The singers life and our life. Thanks! Good luck on your country music journey!
This is GOOD country! I love metal more, but this is good. It makes you stop and reflect a little. Good music will make you feel emotions of all kinds, so Trace did his job.
Hit the nail on the head the emotions and the down to earth feelings you get is what makes country music so amazing. Happy you are feeling it and it’s so amazing to find these songs that’s shows us people feel and go through the same things we all do makes us realize we are all the same and we all need love and respect
You two are genuine, and why I watch these reaction videos since I have lived through the decades [ 60's thru present time ] that all these songs and genres are from. Love the fact no matter who sings these songs. They blow wide open all the walls!
Im filipino american and country is my genre. When a song talks about a simple life in the farm, drinking iced tea on a friday afternoon, it reminds me of my own upbringing halfway across the globe. When a country song talks about how he misses his gramma and her sweet and gentle hands, it reminds me of my own. Country speaks to your soul. It conjures memories you dont even remember you have. God, how I wish people would stop for s minute and listen to the words spoken by a country singer and i dare them tell me they aint moved.
Thank you for your reaction. It's taken me 46 years to realize that showing my emotions doesn't make me look weak. Please keep your reactions as honest as this one.
I love this!! ❤❤ When I was a little girl I tried to share country music with everybody but I was bullied for it. As a biracial woman, I wanted so desperately for there to be more diversity in country music and I’m just so so heartwarmed and grateful that more people are starting to open up to it. ❤🥲
You're gonna look back in 10-15 years and truly miss it. Take it from someone who does. And, I cried at the same time you did. Mine are 10 and 6; and growing up WAY too fast!
The man at the end of the video Trace Atkins pulls onto the property of is his real life father and the video was filmed in Trace Atkins hometown where he grew up.
Love both your comments. If nothing else, country music helps us get in touch with our emotions and a lot of country songs will take us on a journey that, in the end, helps us to understand, first that we all go through troubled and tough times and second if we preserver we will eventually come out ok on the other side. Also, that we don't have be alone, there are always people out there willing to help, even if we don't see or know them. Country music isn't all sad, as you stated is is all about life, the good, the bad and the ugly. A lot of time we are so zoned in on all the things we want, that we don't take time to appreciate all the things we have. We need to take that time. Count our blessings and appreciate everything we have, including the people we love. The end of this video is a crusher for me, where he goes and visits his Dad. I lost my Dad a couple years ago and I am constantly wishing he was here and that I could talk to him. If I had any advice for someone reading this is don't take your family for granted. If you don't have a good relationship for some reason, go fix it. Now. If you have good relationships make sure you make time to spend with those you love.
Its so true, life goes by so fast. I miss my kids being little. I can't hear this song without crying. Let them be little is another song that hits hard
My name is Patrick Annunziato I'm using my daughter's account. I just wanted to say I agree with this song. I'm 51 now and when I look back I see all the things that were available in high school that I wish I had taken advantage of. Some people say we didn't have the same things the richer schools had, but you got to look at what is being offered and take advantage of that. Don't worry about what the school doesn't offer.
Amazing. Former Vet. 2 kids serving now. My boy tells me about his life in the military. Two kids and a wife. I try to offer advice. I don't know if he ever listens. I tell him how much I wish I could have gone back and not worked so hard and spent more time with my kids. I didn't recognize it when I was in the middle of it.
Ugh. Looking back on high school I wish I heard this song and took it more for granted than I did. You’ll never get those days back. Time goes by to quick.
Never listened to country music until about 2 yrs ago when it was the only station that I got in the mountains, and now I really like it. Makes you think about stuff, life stuff, and now I try to burn the good stuff I see everyday into my brain, to remember later. Good reaction
This is one of my favorite treats Atkins songs. I'm glad you guys are taking this journey. Don't feel bad about the tears that's what it's meant to do it's meant to release those feelings that we all bottle up too much inside. And yes country is for everyone because it's family it's home it's heart. I used to tell my children when they were kids I don't want you trying to act like adults because you have only a small time in your life to be a child. Enjoy it it's a gift. Like the song portrays in the blink of an eye basically it's gone and you're a young adult like my sons are now. And they've said many times they miss being a little kid. But they appreciated that we slowed them down on purpose. Please continue listening to Trace he's a wonderful artist
If a song can bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eyes, then the writer and singer have done their job to leave a lasting memory in your soul you will always remember. Great song and video.
I just looked up the spelling of his name to recommend that song, too! Theyre gonna cry, so will i, but they won't ever forget it once theyve heard that one..
Just seeing this video now. man.... great song. If I were to make an observation she was listening to the song but he was HEARING the song. Great video.
Tasha, I just went and watched your reaction to Diamond Rio, "I Believe". Such a beautiful song! I wanted to tell you about another of their songs and just what it means to me. The song is, "One More Day" and it is beautiful. Back in 2000, after having only been married a few years, my sister Sandy lost her husband when he was ejected from his truck after swerving to miss a deer. He was 68 and she was 50. A few years later, I got a call from Sandy who lived in Upstate New York and I in North Carolina. She was excited and she said, "Lin, I knew that if anyone knows what this song is, you would" and she stuck the phone up to the music. On the other end was Diamond Rio," One More Day." She of course told me that this song was her song, thanked me, said she loved me and hung up. I got a big chuckle out of it of course to think she had to call me almost 1000 miles away to find out the name of a country song playing on her radio. Well, in 2006 she was diagnosed with liver cancer and died just a few short weeks after her diagnosis. She was 56 years old. Needless to say, that song took on a whole new meaning for me and I play it often! Maybe you could give it a listen and I hope you will bring your husband in on it too.
One of my all time favorite country songs.Such truth in their lyrics.i’ve lived this song & it is emotional if you have kids & Love the Hell out of them & only want them to have great memories of their childhood & you want time to slow down & it Doesn’t!! Great review guys!
Oh my. I was pregnant when Don't Take The Girl was released. That baby is now 26. I don't think there's ever been a time I heard that song and haven't cried. It's 26+ years!
Oh man... My mom nearly died giving birth to me. My dad said "I've heard and said those same words" when talking about Mama not doing well, but baby is fine. 😭💔 I lose it Everytime.
Dude!!! That is one fantastic, true reaction!! This country journey is amazing! You guys are amazing. One of my faves in all reactors. You’ve gotta do “Five More Minutes “ by Scotty Mcreery next!! Same theme- but different!
I just found your channel and this is the first of your reactions I've seen. I have to say, I loved this. I have to say, this song still makes me cry, I don't care how many times I hear it. Seeing and hearing the two of you and your thoughts/emotions about the song and just life in general was so refreshing. Thank you for being so open and honest. Can't wait to see more of your channel.
Love your appreciation of "real" country music. It is heartland music for EVERYBODY and is a quintessential American art form. A lot of it does take you back to a place and time we all remember and brings up fond memories for whomever is listening. You guys should listen to "You Know Who Your Friends Are" by Tracey Lawrence. Now that's a song most everybody can relate to.
I would give anything to be back in high school and be able to hug my mom again. I would give anything to be 15 years ago and my daughters were 2 and 4. Time passes so quickly, take each moment as if it was the last. I would recommend Zac Brown Band, Grandmas Garden. It was a song my youngest requested we play at my moms funeral.
I'm so glad for your open minds and tender hearts. I'm thrilled you get why people like me love country music and that you want to share that with others.
I'm brand new to your station & I am soooo glad you came across my feed. The emotions on both of your faces hit my heart so hard, especially your husband's. Men are so conditioned to be "a manly man" & the raw emotions on his face had me in tears, this is how every person should be able to react without being embarrassed or concern of being ridiculed for simply being human. Thank you for being you. ❤
Your smiles reflect what's inside. I'm 77 and my wife is 65 in April. I love country music and sung some in country music clubs. One thing that moves me is the sadness that comes out in many songs. Reflecting has been good for me,reminding me that life is good. TNT you are Kool sharing.

Glad I wasn’t the only one crying over this song. A song that shows how tough men cry is “Tough Little Boys” - especially with the original video.
Yes that song is amazing!
And nobody reacts to it, it's not a widely known song
I agree more people need to hear tough little boys!!!!!
I haven't heard that song in years....next on the list

A lot of time we are so zoned in on all the things we want, that we don't take time to appreciate all the things we have. We need to take that time. Count our blessings and appreciate everything we have, including the people we love. The end of this video is a crusher for me, where he goes and visits his Dad. I lost my Dad a couple years ago and I am constantly wishing he was here and that I could talk to him. If I had any advice for someone reading this is don't take your family for granted. If you don't have a good relationship for some reason, go fix it. Now. If you have good relationships make sure you make time to spend with those you love.
Don't lie to yourself T, this is exactly why you and I both love country music.
I’m so happy to hear black people say they love country music
This couple gives me hope for our country. We are so blessed when we can appreciate each other.
Its so true, life goes by so fast. I miss my kids being little. I can't hear this song without crying. Let them be little is another song that hits hard
My goodness Trace has a beautiful voice and this is such a beautiful song. Yes, I cry every time I hear it.
Being humble and respectful this world would be so good. Helping each other
Just lost my cousin. This is one of her favorite songs. I'm crying with ya big hoss. If you need to smile or cry country music has your back.
I love the talks you have in your videos. You share such lovely thoughts and the world really needs that so please do not stop!
You two are so incredibly awesome!! I admire you both!! Such nice people! Best to you!! 😊👏
Amazing. Former Vet. 2 kids serving now. My boy tells me about his life in the military. Two kids and a wife. I try to offer advice. I don't know if he ever listens. I tell him how much I wish I could have gone back and not worked so hard and spent more time with my kids. I didn't recognize it when I was in the middle of it.
Time waits for no one, and it fly’s by, we all need to slow down and enjoy the little things.
Ugh. Looking back on high school I wish I heard this song and took it more for granted than I did. You’ll never get those days back. Time goes by to quick.
Watching my little girl grow up before my eyes, this song pops in my head every day.
She had me crying before the song started what a beautiful heart.
Never listened to country music until about 2 yrs ago when it was the only station that I got in the mountains, and now I really like it. Makes you think about stuff, life stuff, and now I try to burn the good stuff I see everyday into my brain, to remember later. Good reaction
Glad i watched it all, oh boy felt it, and that means a lot to me. Country folk has the best story tellers. God bless yall.
You two are too sweet...😢👋🙏🎶💫💫
I’m 50, I have a 32 year old and a 25 year old. It’s true, you will miss it!!
If a song can bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eyes, then
the writer and singer have done their job to leave a lasting memory in
your soul you will always remember. Great song and video.
This is such a great song y'all should check out Darius Rucker It won't be like this for long.
I just looked up the spelling of his name to recommend that song, too! Theyre gonna cry, so will i, but they won't ever forget it once theyve heard that one..
Yes...good one!!! Love Darious.
Very true
Love Hootie!
Young man, I'm now in my 74th year, those words never rang truer then this. I got teary eyed myself on thinking back.
keep life simple and enjoy everyday.
Im not crying YOU ARE... 😭
Have you done 'Dont take the girl' or 'Thats my Job'?
Don't take the girl always stirs up my allergies
That's My Job will never not make me cry. And I think that song is actually older than I am. (Quick google-fu says I was 7 when it was released.)
Kids think they know everything. It's not until you're older that you appreciate your parents
T, you have one very wise beautiful lady sitting next to you!! 😊👍
I'd have to say this is the best reaction video I've ever seen, out of all genres. Real, raw and emotional. Loved it. Great job.
You guys are freakin' AWESOME!
Just watched this reaction again. I absolutely love watching you two!!! Such precious hearts you have.
T's face is gonna make me cry 🤣🤣, love you guys.
I'm so glad for your open minds and tender hearts. I'm thrilled you get why people like me love country music and that you want to share that with others.
Wifey’s open mindedness and good heart was all I needed to see to subscribe. Y’all have a new fan 💯💯
It’s okay to cry ❤️ there’s something special about country music. It makes me cry a lot sometimes.
